Handloom Expo to be held from 18th December to 31st December, 2019 between 10:30
AM to 8:30 PM at Lakshmi Hall, No-40, 100 Feet Road, 1st Avenue,
Ashok Nagar, Raghava Reddy Colony, Sector-10, Chennai-600083
The Exhibition will be inaugurated by Shri R.D. Nazeem,IAS.,
Executive Director(South), Food Corporation of India, Chennai
Central Cottage Industries Emporium India Ltd, is organising Special State
Handloom Expo - a fourteen day exhibition of Handloom at Lakshmi Hall, Ashok Nagar, Chennaifrom
the 18th December,2019 – 31st December ,2019. This
is being organised for the growth and development of State Handloom through the
direct participation of weavers.
This exhibition is being organized to
provide weavers the market intelligence so that they can produce market
relevant products and may formulate the pricing model on the basis of
demand.
This exhibition has been envisaged to
showcase the creations of Indian weavers.
The exhibition has over 45 stalls
that showcase the handwoven and handcrafted handloom products such as Sarees,
Dress Material, Ready to wear, Bed Spreads, Table Linen, womens wear, Men Wear etc under one roof.

Ministry of Textiles Govt. of India.
