VELAMMAL WINS GOLD IN BHARATHIYAR
DAY GAMES
The U-19- Basketball boys team of
Velammal Main School, Mogappair campus won the trophy and gold medals as they
emerged victorious in the finals by defeating SDAT Thanjavur team with a score
of 53-29 in the 37th Bharathiyar Day Games 2019-20 at PeriyUniversity, Salem Organised by the Government of School Education, Tamil Nadu held
between 5th January and 7th January 2020.
The team has
emerged victorious among 35 teams and has bagged gold medal for the 4th
year.
