Brandon T. Jackson (Tropic Thunder, Person Jackson, Big Momma House) set to star in the hip urban drama Trap City currently on location in Nashville, TN. Written and Directed by Ricky Burchell also starring Clifton ( Ray, Dead Presidents, Norbit, Menace II Society), Erica Pinket (All Eyez on Me) with Dennis “LA” White ( Notorious, Thank You For Your Service, Parenthood).

Trap City tells the story of a struggling rapper working as a drop man for a drug kingpin. He records a song that becomes a viral sensation just before his arrest. His fame intensifies because of his crime but after an attempt on his life, he faces the greatest choice of his life. Filmed on location in Nashville TN, and lensed and Produced by Ricky Burchell ( Where is Good?, The Story of Robert Smalls), and produced by Brandon T. Jackson

Trap City is an artful take on today’s hip hop music culture. Trap City also features acclaimed international actors Napoleon (Seema Raja, Christmas Coupon) and actor/composer G.V.
