Tamil music band’s  album “Thiruvizha”  honoured with Swiss Awards

The world of Tamil Music has always been phenomenal, where the reception for both film and spiritual albums has been the same. It’s a region, where music lovers appreciate and extend theirs extols beyond the language and religious barriers. Naturally, it all goes in perfect accordance with the famous saying – “Music has no language” and “Art has no boundaries”. The contemporary youngsters desire to enjoy the language of Tamil on world musical panorama. Especially, the Tamilians in Europe and America have created a unique platform for their musical spell, thereby expanding their domain there. Significantly, “Thiruvizha” has become the latest one to join the league, where the album has been witnessing heavy downpour of praises on cyberspace.

Vinushan Vishnukumar, the multi-faceted personality behind this album, who has written, composed, produced and acted says, “Myself, my friends – Mithulan Vasan (FSPROD Mithu) and Vithurshaan Kanesarajah – FSPROD) together on behalf of FSPORD music band have created this album. All our parents initially inhibited in Sri Lanka settled in Switzerland and we were born here. Three of us were united by a bond of passion for music that prevailed from our 13 years of age. After exerting lots of effort and several attempts, we finally stared our music band FSPROD in 2010  Initially, we wrote and composed songs in German and Swiss languages, which garnered a good response. Aftermath, we decided to exhibit our skills coming up with Tamil songs as well.

While embarking on this journey, we aspired to create some newfangled and unconventional music. Last year, we composed a couple of albums – ‘Sattapadi’ that had 12 songs and ‘Thiruvizha’ that comprised of 15 tracks. The receptions for these albums were far beyond our anticipations with a mammoth reach. Instilled with more confidence, we created video for these songs, which furthermore earned us good recognition.

We were also appreciated for being the only music crew to release a couple of albums in the same year. Furthermore, we were invited to perform at various concerts in Europe. So we have performed in Germany,  Denmark, Canada, France, Singapore, Malaysia, London, and America.

Our greatest joy was to get honored for ‘Thiruvizha’ being the highest viewed album in Switzerland and we have been felicitated with the ‘Best Album’ Award as well. Although we were born in a foreign country, we have never missed to lead a life of our native culture and incorporate them into our musical works as well. In simple words, we want to unite the world through music.”

Apart from producing music contents, FSPROD band also takes care of the complete production and post-production work as well.

 The songs they have composed and produced have witnessed incredulously huge reception. In particular, their Chartbuster hit Habibi and Vathikuchi have accomplished an extraordinary feat of achievement in YouTube with more views. Especially, the song ‘Habibi’ has gained 10 Million viewers that left the plush lands of Switzerland.
