“Anandham Vilayadum Veedu will revive the bonding and brotherhood among families” - Actor Cheran
Certain films have been emotional remedies in reviving the relationships, bonding of friendship, and many times, a medium for uniting the separated families. We have come across many instances like Paandavar Bhoomi, Anandham, Viswasam, Kadaikutty Singam, and more films that made audiences sit back in the theaters, even after the show was over, and prompted them to at least send a message to their close ones, after being separated for years. Director Cheran is one of such reputed filmmakers, who were able to commute audiences to the deepest layers of emotions and feel this essence as an actor and filmmaker. He has been always associated with clean entertainer and heart-warming roles, which now continues with Anandham Vilayadum Veedu. He plays the titular role alongside Gautham Karthik in this movie, directed by Nanda Periyasamy, which is scheduled for worldwide release on December 24, 2021.
Sharing his experience of working in this film, actor Cheran says, “Anandham Vilayadum Veedu is very close and special to my heart, and I am not saying this just to make a statement, but something, every actor in the movie felt it by heart and soul. Although I was consciously performing my character during the shoot, I had a different experience during the screening. I almost forgot it’s me on the screen and started having tears roll down my cheeks watching that character in a few scenes. It wasn’t just me, but many actors in this film had a similar experience. This is a pure magical show by filmmaker Nanda Periyasamy. I have always desired to see him flourish as a successful moviemaker, and, am glad to see it come true with this movie. I thank producer Ranganathan sir, for being the pillar of this film. I am not sure if any other producer would have sustained the harsh challenges like Pandemic, he had faced during the production of this film. A producer like him is a boon to the industry. Gautham Karthik is such a loveable person. I would say, he is a rare species. Not all actors have the features to shine in an ultra-urban guy and a village boy character, but he owns that style. Shivathmika is more like a daughter to me. I’m proud to see her passion and dedication to her profession. Be it Saravanan, Vignesh, or anyone in the crew, we were all like a family, and I would admit that the entire shooting phase was heaven for me. Audiences will feel this positive vibe in the theaters as well. I can confidently state that Anandham Vilayadum Veedu will revive the bonding and brotherhood among families.”
