Vijay Sethupathi as Vaathiyaar & Soori as protagonist starrer ‘Viduthalai’ to release in two parts 

RS Infotainment Producer Eldred Kumar’s upcoming production ‘Viduthalai’, directed by Vetrimaaran, featuring Vijay Sethupathi as Vaathiyaar and Soori protagonist in the titular roles, gets huge as the movie will release in two different parts. What’s going to be a huge Midas-touch is Red Giant Movies Udhayanidhi Stalin presenting both – Viduthalai-1 & Viduthalai-2. The project has retained its substantiality and prominence from the time of its announcement. Naturally, with the impressive star cast and technical crew, the movie fetched more attention among the film industry and general audiences as well. Now, the production house officially confirms that Viduthalai will be released in two parts. 

Currently, the shooting of Viduthalai-1 is already completed and postproduction work is happening in full swing. Only few portions have to be filmed to wrap up the shooting of Viduthalai-2, which is currently staged in  Sirumalai & Kodaikannal. 

Viduthalai franchise is produced at a whopping budget and will be one among the league of big-budgeted movies currently made in Tamil cinema.

The film’s grandeur has been generating a strong buzz, especially for its brilliant and magnificent set work that includes the recent set erection of 10-Cr worth train and Railway Bridge. The train compartments as well as the bridge were constructed exactly with the same materials used in the manufacturing of original bridge & train. Earlier, the art department headed by Jackie had erected a huge village set in Sirumalai. 

According to the makers of Viduthalai, it has an intense story that needs proper storytelling to make sure that it appeals to the interests of audiences. Hence, the idea of materializing it in two different parts came into existence, and the movie is shaping up successfully as planned by the team. 

Currently, the preparations for shooting a breath-taking action sequence between Vijay Sethupathi and Soori is scheduled in Kodaikannal. With Peter Hein choreographing the action sequence, a group of proficient stunt team from Bulgaria, who have already arrived in Tamil Nadu will be a part of this action block.  

The star cast of Viduthalai includes Vijay Sethupathi, Soori, Bhavani Sre, Prakash Raj, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Rajeev Menon, Chethan and many prominent actors are a part of this star cast. Maestro Isaignani is composing music for Viduthalai, which features cinematography by Velraj.

Prajan-Manisha Yadav starrer “Ninaivellam Neeyada shooting wrapped up

Lega Theatres Royal Babu presents ‘Ninaivellam Neeyada’, written and directed by Aadhiraajan, which marks the 1417th musical venture of Maestro Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja. The movie features Prajan in the lead role and Manisha Yadav in the female lead role, who will be seen performing a unique character. Debutant Sinamika plays another female lead role in this movie. New faces Rohit and Yuva Lakshmi will be seen playing the younger version of the lead actors in this movie.

Besides, Redin Kingsley will be tickling our funny bones with his hilarious role in this movie. The others in the star cast include Manobala, Muthuraman, Madhumitha, Ranjan Kumar, Producer P.L. Thenappan, Thamizh Selvi, and a few more prominent actors. Filmmaker R.V. Udhayakumar appears in a pivotal role as a psychiatrist.

Raja Bhattacharjee is handling cinematography for this movie and Axis Joseph is taking care of editing. Pradeep Dinesh Master is choreographing action sequences. The movie based on the first love blossoming during the adolescent phase in school days filmed across Chennai, Kodaikanal, and Thiru Porur Thirumazhisai has completed its shoot in 41 days. Elated with the perfectionism of director Aadhiraajan, producer Royal Babu has appreciated him. 

The last day shoot was held at EVP Studios IN Chennai, where Prajan, Sinamika, Yuva Lakshmi, and a few students shot an important sequence amidst the heavy rainfall. As a token of celebrating the wrap-up, the crew as a part of the traditional ritual broke the pumpkin and cut the cake joyfully. 

Currently, the dubbing works are happening in full swing for ‘Ninaivellam Neeyada’, which is scheduled for November 2022 release.

இப்போது வருகிற எந்தப் படத்தைப் பார்த்தாலும் வெட்டு, குத்து, ரத்தம் என்று மனித உயிரை மலிவாகக் காட்டும் வகையில் காட்சிகள் வருவது சகஜமாகி வருகிறது.

நான் எடுத்துக்கொண்ட கதை அதன் வீரியத்தால் பல பிரச்சினைகளைத் தாண்டி முழுப் படமாக வடிவம் பெற்று இன்று பார்த்தவர்கள் எல்லாம் பாராட்டுகிறார்கள். அதைப் திரையிட்டுக் காட்டிய போது அனைவரும் இப்படிக் கூட இதைச் சொல்ல முடியுமா என்று வியந்து பாராட்டினார்கள். திரைப்பட விழாக்களுக்கு அனுப்பிய போது பல இடங்களில்  விருதுகளைப் பெற்றுள்ளது.

First look of Vetri-Shivani starrer 'Bumper'

*First look of Vetri-Shivani starrer 'Bumper' produced by Vetha Pictures and directed by Selvakumar to be released on Vinayaka Chathurthi*

Actor Vetri of '8 Thottakkal' and 'Jiivi' fame is playing the lead role in 'Bumper', a Tamil film based on Kerala bumper lottery.

The film being produced by S. Thiagaraja, B.E., on Vetha Pictures banner is being directed by M. Selvakumar, who had earlier worked with filmmakers like Meera Kathiravan and 'Komban' and the much-recent 'Viruman' fame Muthaiah.  

The shoot is completely over and it was carried out in Thoothukudi, Thiruvananthapuram, Punalur, Sabarimala and other areas. The film has taken shape well and the post-production works are currently in the final stage. 

The first look poster of the movie will be released on August 31, the auspicious day of Vinayaka Chathurthi. 'Bumper' is heading for a grand release and an official announcement on this will be made soon.

Shivani Narayanan is the heroine of the movie, while Thangadurai will be seen in an interesting role.

Social media sensation G P Muthu, who enjoys a huge fan following, plays an interesting role in 'Bumper' and scenes involving him are going to be highly entertaining, says the film's team. 

The team had carried out the shoot at Peruvazhi Paathai route from Erumeli to Sabarimala by obtaining necessary permission from the Kerala government. 

Music for 'Bumper' is composed by Govind Vasantha, while lyrics are by Karthik Netha. According to director Selvakumar, "Kerala bumper lottery forms the backdrop of this film. Vetri is playing the protagonist, and actor Hareesh Peradi is doing a very important character."

Cinematographer Vinoth Rathinasamy, who has worked in films such as 'Nedunalvaadai', 'MGR Magan', 'Aalambana' and 'Kadamaiyai Sei' is wielding the camera for this movie. Editing is by Mu. Kasi Viswanathan.

தூத்துக்குடி, திருவனந்தபுரம், புனலூர் மற்றும் சபரிமலை உள்ளிட்ட பகுதிகளில் பம்பர் படப்பிடிப்பு நடைபெற்றது. படம் மிகவும் சுவாரசியமான முறையில் தயாராகி உள்ளது என்று குழுவினர் தெரிவிக்கின்றனர். 

'பம்பர்' படத்தின் கதாநாயகியாக ஷிவானி நாராயணன் நடிக்கிறார். சுவாரசியமான கதாபாத்திரம் ஒன்றை தங்கதுரை ஏற்றுள்ளார்.

இப்படத்தில் துப்பாக்கி பாண்டியன் எனும் முற்றிலும் வித்தியாசமான வேடத்தில் சமூக வலைதளங்களில் தனக்கென தனி ரசிகர் பட்டாளத்தை வைத்திருக்கும் ஜி பி முத்து நடிக்கிறார். அவர் வரும் காட்சிகள் ரசிகர்களுக்கு உற்சாகத்தை ஊட்டும் என்று படக்குழுவினர் நம்பிக்கை தெரிவித்தனர். 

'பம்பர்' படத்திற்கு கோவிந்த் வசந்தா இசையமைக்க கார்த்திக் நேத்தா பாடல்களை இயற்றுகிறார். 

இப்படத்தின் முதல் கட்ட படப்பிடிப்பு எருமேலியில் இருந்து சபரிமலைக்கு செல்லும் பெருவழிப்பாதை மற்றும் அதனை சுற்றியுள்ள பகுதிகளில் கேரள அரசின் உரிய அனுமதியுடன் நிறைவடைந்தது நினைவிருக்கலாம்.

மேதகு-2' திரைப்படம் 'மூவி வு'ட் ஒடிடி தளத்தில் வெளியானது

கடந்த 2021 ஜூன் மாதம் தமிழீழ தலைவர் பிரபாகரன் வாழ்வியலை மையப்படுத்தி உருவான மேதகு படம் வெளியானது. இந்த 'மேதகு' முதல் பாகமும் தற்போது, அதன் இரண்டாம் பாகமான ‘மேதகு-2’ கடந்த ஆகஸ்ட் - 28 ஆம் தேதி மூவி வுட் (Movie Wood) ஒடிடி தளத்தில் வெளியாகி மிகப்பெரிய வரவேற்பை பெற்றுள்ளது.

சிங்கள பேரினவாத அரசால் தமிழ் மக்களின் இடத்திலேயே அவர்களுக்கு சொந்தமான உரிமைகள் மறுக்கப்பட்டதையும் அவர்களுக்கு சம உரிமை கிடைக்காததால் ஆயுதம் ஏந்தி போராட வேண்டிய சூழல் உருவானதையும் 1950-களில் இருந்து எப்படி எல்லாம் தமிழர்கள் பிரச்சனைகளை சந்தித்தார்கள் என்பதையும், அவற்றை எப்படி துணிச்சலாக எதிர்கொண்டார்கள் என்பதையும் பற்றி முதல் பாகத்தில் சொல்லப்பட்டிருந்தது. இதில் தமிழீழ தலைவர் பிரபாகரனின் 21 வயது வரையிலான வாழ்வியல் மட்டுமே சொல்லப்பட்டிருந்தது.

இந்த இரண்டாம் பாகத்தில் அடுத்த 12 வருட காலகட்டத்தில் என்ன நடந்தது என்பது காட்சிப்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது.

போராட்ட உணர்வு கொண்ட இளைஞர்களை ஒன்று சேர்த்து தமது உரிமையை மீட்டெடுப்பதற்காக புதிய இயக்கத்தை உருவாக்குவதையும் அதற்காக அவர்கள் எதிர்கொள்ளும் சோதனைகள், அவர்களுக்கு ஏற்படும் உணர்வு மிக்க சம்பவங்கள், அதனால் ஏற்படும் இழப்புகள், தியாகங்கள் என இந்த இயக்கம் உருவானது எப்படி, அதற்கு இந்தியாவில் இருந்து மறைந்த பாரத பிரதமர் இந்திரா காந்தி, மறைந்த தமிழக முதல்வர் எம்ஜிஆர் ஆகியோர் தமிழகத்தில் இவர்களுக்கு பயிற்சி பெற எப்படி உதவியாக இருந்தார்கள் என்பதெல்லாம் இந்த இரண்டாம் பாகத்தில் இடம் பெறுகிறது.

1983- ஆம் ஆண்டு காலகட்டத்தில் இலங்கை முழுவதும் நாடளாவிய பகுதிகளில் தமிழர்களுக்கு எதிரான இன வன்முறை நடைபெற்ற கருப்பு ஜூலை கலவரத்தையும், அதனால் ஒன்றரை லட்சம் மக்கள் உலகெங்கும் அகதிகளாக புலம் பெயர்ந்த துயர நிகழ்வையும் இதில் காட்டுவதுடன் அதற்கு காரணம் என்ன, அதன் பின்னணியில் என்ன நடந்தது என்பதையும் காட்சிப்படுத்தியுள்ளார்கள்.

அதே போன்று 1981-ஆம் ஆண்டு தமிழர்களின் கலாச்சாரத்தை அழிக்க வேண்டும் என்கிற நோக்கத்தோடு யாழ் நூலகத்தை தீக்கிரையாக்கிய துயரமான சம்பவம் நடைபெற்றது. பெரிய அளவில் வெளியே தெரியாத இந்த சம்பவத்தின் பின்னணியையும் இதன் மூலம் தெரியப்படுத்தி உள்ளனராம்.

கதாநாயகனாக தமிழீழ தலைவர் கதாபாத்திரத்தில் கௌரிசங்கர்  நடித்துள்ளார். கௌரவத் தோற்றத்தில் நாசர் நடித்துள்ளார். இரா.கோ யோகேந்திரன் இந்தப்படத்தை இயக்கியுள்ளார்.

இசையமைப்பாளர் பிரவின் குமார், ஒளிப்பதிவாளர் வினோத் ராஜேந்திரன், படத்தொகுப்பு ஆதித்யா முத்தமிழ் மாறன் (குவியம் ஸ்டுடியோ) கலை இயக்குனர் இன்ப தினேஷ், சண்டை பயிற்சி ஜாக்குவார் தங்கம் மற்றும் அவரது மகன் விஜய் ஜாக்குவார் தங்கம்,  பாடகர்கள் சைந்தவி,  புதுவை சித்தன் ஜெயமூர்த்தி என இந்தப்படத்தின் தொழில்நுட்ப குழுவும் மிகப்பெரிய பங்களிப்பை இந்தப்படத்திற்காக வழங்கியுள்ளனர்.

கடந்த  ஆகஸ்ட்-19 ஆம் தேதி இந்த படம் வெளிநாட்டு திரையரங்குகளில் உலகெங்கிலும் வெளியாகி மிகப்பெரிய வரவேற்பை பெற்றது.

தற்போது வளர்ந்து வரும் ஒடிடி யான 'மூவி வுட்' மேதகு மற்றும் மேதகு 2 ஆகிய இரண்டு பாகங்களையும் கடந்த ஆகஸ்ட் - 28 ஆம் தேதி வெளியிட்டுள்ளார்கள்.

சமீப காலத்தில், ரசிகர்கள் மத்தியில் பரபரப்பாக பேசப்படும் வெப் தொடர், கிருத்திகா உதயநிதி இயக்கியுள்ள "பேப்பர் ராக்கெட்". இந்த ஹிட் தொடருக்கு, தனது இசையால் மெருகூட்டியுள்ள  இசையமைப்பாளர் சைமன் கே.கிங், தனது பாடல்கள் மற்றும் பின்னணி இசைக்காக பல்வேறு ஊடகங்கள் மற்றும் பொதுமக்களிடமிருந்தும் பாராட்டுகளையும் அன்பையும் பெற்றுள்ளார்.

Music director Simon K.King has been receiving a lot of praise and love from the media and public for his songs and background score in the recent sensational hit web series “Paper Rocket” directed by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi. The young composer adds that Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi was the first director to approach him immediately after the release of his superhit song “Yavvana” from the movie “Sathya” and wanted to work with him on her next project and thats how the journey began.. Simon says, “I am finally happy that paperrocket has reached a wide audience with good reception and the Tamil-Malayalam bilingual song “Cheranaadu” sung by Ramya Nambessan, has gained a lot of love and recognition”.

-  In recent times, we find that songs don’t have as much of a vital role in the narrative of a movie as before but director Kiruthiga has always given importance to songs and music in her projects, hence paperrocket has such wonderful songs. Simon K.King says, “it was also a wonderful experience working with extremely talented music directors, Dharan and Ved Shankar, and thanks to director Kiruthiga for making this happen”.

 Simultaneously, King has partnered once again with Director Andrew Louis, after the duo’s blockbuster hit “Kolaigaran”, to give us a mystery thriller, Amazon original series titled “Vadhandhi”, produced by the dynamic duo Pushkar-Gayathri, set to release later this year and starring S.J.Suryah, Nasser, Laila, Sanjana and Vivek Prasanna in leading roles. Simon concludes that after working back to back on thrillers like “Kolaigaran” & “Kabadadhaari”, Paper Rocket turned out to be a breath of fresh air.

The Legend New Saravana Stores Productions' first ever venture The Legend' starring Legend Saravanan, a multi-lingual pan-India film made at a huge budget, is running successfully in theaters with great fanfare even five weeks after its release. 

When Legend Saravanan, who appeared in the commercials of his leading retail chain, was cast in the lead role of 'The Legend', various comments were made. But 'The Legend' surpassed expectations and Legend Saravanan has won the appreciation of fans. 'The Legend' is being hailed not only as an entertaining film, but as a movie with a socially conscious storyline. Audience have appreciated the subject of the film. The success of the film is the outcome of the love shown by the people for the efforts of Legend Saravanan. 

With the movie collecting around Rs 45 crore in theaters worldwide, people are now eagerly waiting for its OTT release and TV telecast. Talks for satellite rights and OTT rights of the film are nearing completion. It is learnt the satellite rights could be sold for Rs 20 crore and the OTT rights for Rs 25 crore.

'The Legend' overcame some negative reviews at the time of its release and became a commercial success. Legend Saravanan, the team and his fans are very excited about this success.
