September 2022 marked ten years of my voice acting (dubbing) career for heroines, and on this occasion, I’d like to extend my gratitude to all of you who have been a part of my journey.
First and foremost, I thank the Supreme for everything which I have expressed below.
I thank my parents from my heart for their endless support, love and care. My dad, who is not with me today, was my biggest cheerleader and supporter. He would go all out in appreciation of my work and was super proud of me. I miss him.
My Guru, my mother, Sreeja Ravi, has worked in over 2000 films, won 5 state awards, and has over 45 years of experience in the industry. I’m glad that she has laid out a steady path for me to follow. Ravindranathan & Sreeja Ravi will always be my soul and world.
I sincerely thank my friends, family members, and well-wishers for all the love and support they’ve given me and I hope you continue to cheer for me.
I’ve worked with 104 directors to date and they have all given me a platform to prove myself as an artist. I thank all the Captains.
I thank the producers, assistant directors, sound engineers, mixing engineers, sound side technicians and others who play a crucial role in every step of the process.
This list is incomplete if I don’t extend gratitude to all the heroines I’ve voiced for. It was sheer happiness to live as your voice on the silver screen.
I also take this opportunity to thank the Dubbing Union representatives who call me for voice tests without fail and give me opportunities. The ‘SICTADAU’ union which I am a part of has been my biggest pillar of strength, since when I began my career at the age of 2.
The press and media have always supported me and this eventually also helped me move to the Silver Screen as an Actor.
Lastly and most importantly, I love you all my dear social media friends, followers and fans that have always supported me by sharing your views about my work, through appreciation and healthy criticism. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
Dubbing is a soulful profession and I’m blessed to be doing what I do. I followed my passion and sustained it with your immense support. Here’s asking all of you to follow yours, your hard work and dedication will eventually pay off.
Lots of Love.
