Mumbai, June 1, 2026: The wait just got more intense. The trailer of Thukra Ke Mera Pyaar Season 2 is here, and it pulls viewers straight into a world where love is no longer innocent, and power comes at a personal cost.

Returning as Kuldeep Kumar, Dhaval Thakur steps into the shoes of a man torn between guilt and obsession, a man who once made a mistake that changed everything and now finds himself drawn back into a dangerous web of politics, power, and unfinished emotions.

Sanchita Basu as Shanvika Chauhan emerges stronger and far more formidable. Navigating the ruthless corridors of power, she refuses to play by the rules even if it means rewriting the meaning of relationships along the way.

The trailer offers a glimpse into a season packed with high-stakes political drama, simmering revenge, and emotionally charged confrontations. As Sitaarpur becomes a battleground of ambition and betrayal, Kuldeep and Shanvika find themselves on opposite ends of a game where trust is fragile and intentions are never what they seem. This season amplifies the emotional depth that made the first one a standout heartbreak, revenge, and the rise of an underdog but now set against a much larger, more dangerous canvas.

Sanchita Basu on the occasion commented, “Season 2 takes Shanvika into a space that is emotionally far more layered and unpredictable. She’s stronger, more guarded, and constantly questioning what love really means when power and betrayal enter the picture. What excited me most this season was that nothing is black or white every emotion comes with a consequence.

Dhaval Thakur returning as Kuldeep Kumar said, “Kuldeep is carrying the weight of his past throughout this season. He’s emotional, conflicted, and constantly torn between what he feels and what the world expects from him. The trailer only gives a glimpse of how intense and personal his journey becomes this time. The scale has grown, but the emotional core remains very real.”

Thukra Ke Mera Pyaar – Season 2 streams on JioHotstar from June 19, 2026.

From Dreams to Dance Floors: Choreographer Sherif Celebrates a Milestone of 250 Songs

_*From Dreams to Dance Floors: Choreographer Sherif Celebrates a Milestone of 250 Songs*_

From winning the acclaimed dance reality show Ungalil Yaar Adutha Prabhu Deva to becoming one of South Indian cinema’s most sought-after choreographers, Sherif has scripted an inspiring journey powered by passion, perseverance, and relentless hard work.

Having choreographed songs across Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Assamese cinema, Sherif now celebrates a remarkable milestone with his 250th song as a choreographer. From memorable chartbusters like “Kaasu Panam” (Soodhu Kavvum) to making Superstar Rajinikanth groove memorably in Petta, and creating a newfangled choreographic feast with Suriya’s Kanima in Retro,  Sherif’s choreography has consistently stood out for its energy, innovation, and unique style, earning him admiration from audiences and filmmakers alike.

Expressing gratitude on this special occasion, Sherif says, “Reaching my 250th song feels surreal and deeply emotional. This milestone belongs not just to me, but to everyone who believed in me and stood by my side through this journey. I would like to sincerely thank my mentors, parents, family, friends, assistant choreographers, dancers, directors, music directors, producers, and every colleague from the industry who trusted my work and encouraged me. Every song has been a learning experience, and I remain grateful for the love and support showered on me over the years.”

When asked about his passion for acting and direction, Sherif shares, “Acting and direction are spaces I deeply admire, and if the right opportunity comes with genuine conviction, I would love to explore them. But choreography has endowed me with a priceless and valuable place in the industry. At this point, I want to focus on that and nurture many young talents who are perhaps even more gifted than me. Cinema is my soul, and I will continue working towards upgrading myself and my profession.”

Having also established Sherif’s Dance Company, mentored aspiring talents, and emerged as the first Indian to join the Global Dance Council (GDC) as convener, Sherif continues to inspire the next generation of dancers while expanding his creative footprint in cinema.
