I want to leave a filmography- Satyajeet Dubey

“I want to leave a filmography where people say there was this guy who gave his heart and soul to his work’’ says Satyajeet Dubey

Satyajeet Dubey is all geared up for the release of his upcoming multi-starrer film
‘Prassthanam’. Set in a contemporary political family, Prassthanam deals with complex
questions on dharma, morality, desire, right and wrong. The actor will be seen essaying the
role of Sanjay Dutt’s son Vivaan Baldev Singh.
Speaking about his experience while shooting the film, he said, “Playing Vivaan Baldev
Singh was the most difficult and exciting roles I have done till now. What attracted me to
the character was his journey and the unpredictability. He was someone who had a sense
of false entitlement of his identity. I couldn’t sleep at night and waited until sunrise to drift
off to sleep. Even when I slept I would have nightmares where I am shooting people or
people were shooting me.''
Dubey further adds, “This took a toll on me and for a good 15-25 days after the shoot ended
I was still distressed. It could be because I had put everything into the character, this is
also because I want to leave a filmography where people say there was this guy who gave
his heart and soul to his work.”
Directed by Deva Katta, Sanjay S. Dutt’s presents, produced by Maanayata Dutt,
Prassthanam stars Sanjay S Dutt, Manisha Koirala, Jackie Shroff, Chunky Panday, Ali Fazal,
Amyra Dastur & Satyajeet Dubey. The film is released in the theatres near you.
