"This was my father's final wish..." – With these heartfelt words, 18-year-old Ashish, a young man from Chennai, etched his name in history by conquering Mount Everest on May 15, 2025.
On International Everest Day (May 29), the day we remember Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay's legendary climb, Ashish returned to Chennai, having led a five-member team — and became the youngest Everest team leader in the world! 🌍🔥
💔 One teammate tragically passed away
💪 Only three reached the summit.
🧗 Total expedition time: 37 days (Apr 5 – May 15).
🌱 Trained over a year, starting December 2023.
