Chennai, 1 August 2025: The Tamil trailer of Meesha, an upcoming Malayalam suspense thriller written and directed by Emcy Joseph, has officially been released - creating strong buzz among cinema lovers in both Kerala and Tamil Nadu.

With Kathir, critically acclaimed and celebrated for his performances in Pariyerum Perumal, Suzhal: The Vortex, and Vikram Vedha, making his Malayalam debut, the film is now being brought closer to his Tamil fans through a Tamil-dubbed release.

 With Kathir’s performance already drawing strong praise from those who have seen early glimpses, expectations are sky-high across Tamil audiences. 

Produced by Sajeer Gafur under the banner of Unicorn Movies, Meesha features an ensemble cast including Shine Tom Chacko (Good Bad Ugly, Beast), Hakim Shah, Jeo Baby, Srikant Murali, Sudhy Kopa, Unni Lalu, and Hasli.

Set in the chilling silence of a dense forest, Meesha follows a series of dark, twisted events revolving around a group of friends.  The trailer hints at the danger, thrill, and psychological drama that awaits.

The Tamil trailer, released recently, has already received strong reactions online. With the film dubbed into Tamil, audiences in Tamil Nadu can now enjoy the experience in their own language, while still retaining the mood and intensity of the original.

The film’s soundtrack, composed by Sooraj S Kurup, has also caught attention across platforms. Cinematography is by Suresh Rajan, with Manoj handling editing. Music is composed by Sooraj S Kurup, and the music rights for Meesha have been acquired by Saregama Malayalam. Art direction is by Makesh Mohanan. Bijith Dharmadam is the still photographer, and Praveen B Menon serves as the production controller. Sunny Thazhuthala is the line producer. Makeup is by Jithesh Poyya, and Sameera Saneesh is the costume designer. Arun Rama Varma is the sound designer. Jayadev Tiruveaipati is the colorist, with DI by Poetic and VFX by IVFX. Thought Station and Roxstar created the publicity designs, while Illuminartist handles promo designs. Digital marketing is managed by Invertd Studio.
