Hesham Abdul Wahab makes his Bollywood entry with a Sanjay Leela Bhansali production
Marking a significant milestone for the South Indian film industry, acclaimed composer Hesham Abdul Wahab is set to make his Bollywood entry with Do Deewane Sheher Mein, produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and directed by Ravi Udyawar. The film’s music album features a song composed by Hesham alongside music by the celebrated Bollywood composer duo Sachin–Jigar.
The song composed by Hesham is sung by Jubin Nautiyal and Neeti Mohan, with lyrics written by Abhiruchi.
Hesham Abdul Wahab has established a strong presence across Malayalam, Telugu, and Tamil cinema, with his Telugu work receiving particular acclaim. His music for successful films such as Kushi and Hi Nanna, along with the massively successful Girlfriend, further strengthened his standing in the Telugu film industry.
Looking ahead, Hesham has an impressive lineup of Telugu projects, including a large-scale epic directed by Adithya Haasan, a new film with Hi Nanna director Shouryuv, and another major project with Sailesh Kolanu, best known for HIT.
In Tamil cinema, Hesham made his debut with Once More, produced by Million Dollar Studios , followed by Maaman, starring Soori. His upcoming Tamil slate includes Superhero, featuring Arjun Das, and Made in Korea, starring Priyanka Mohan — Netflix’s first Indo-Korean feature film, marking a notable international collaboration.
Hesham is also set to make his Kannada debut as the music director for a film starring Ganesh (Golden Star Ganesh). In Malayalam cinema, his upcoming film Madhuvidhu is slated for release soon.
Starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Mrunal Thakur, Do Deewane Sheher Mein is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on February 20. Jointly produced by Zee Studios, Rankcorp Media, Bhansali Productions, and Ravi Udyawar Films, the film has already generated strong industry buzz following the release of its teaser
