 Pallichattambi unveils Kayadu Lohar’s vintage avatar in its latest poster*

Pallichattambi is the upcoming film directed by Dijo Jose Antony with Tovino Thomas in the lead role. Kayadu Lohar plays the female lead in the movie. The character poster of the actress has now been released. In the poster shared on social media, Kayadu appears in a vintage look. However, the makers have not yet revealed the name of her character in the film.

Kayadu, who entered the film industry through the Kannada movie Mugilpete, made her Malayalam debut with Pathonpatham Noottandu, where her performance received attention. Later, the Tamil film Dragon, released last year, became a major breakthrough in her career.

Pallichattambi marks Kayadu’s third Malayalam film. She is also playing the female lead in I Am Game starring Dulquer Salmaan. The shooting of these films is currently in progress. Kayadu is also acting as a heroine in several Tamil and Telugu projects.

Meanwhile, Pallichattambi is slated for release on April 9. Reports suggest that the film, produced under the banner of Worldwide Films, C Qube Bros Entertainments will be a full-on mass action entertainer. The motion poster, title poster, and videos shared by Tovino showing him training in martial arts all hint strongly in that direction.

The film is produced by Noufal and Brijeesh under the banner of Worldwide Films, along with Chanukya, Chaitanya, and Charan under the banner of C Qube Bros Entertainments.

 Megha Shyam and Thanseer serve as co-producers.The screenplay is written by S. Suresh Babu. Pallichattambi tells a story set in Kerala during the 1950s–60s. Along with Tovino and Kayadu, several prominent actors including Vijayaraghavan are part of the cast.
