Komala & Hari Bhaskaran of Komala Hari Pictures is producing this film, which marks his ‘Production No.4’. The yet to be titled movie is produced on a grand scale. 

The story is rooted in the long-standing culture, traditions, and heritage of society, while also bringing to light ancient art forms buried deep within the soil of the land. Designed as a cinematic record of forgotten folklore, the film is based on a true supernatural incident that reportedly unfolded in the southern districts during the mid-1980s, a haunting tale filled with blood, flesh, and unexplained horrors, now transformed into a grand cinematic narrative.

The film is written and directed by Bharathi Balakumaran, who won acclaim for his nativity based film Vizha. After deciding to bring this story to the screen, he conducted extensive research through various authentic sources to shape the screenplay as close to reality as possible.

Actor Vshvaa ( This is the correct spelling ) plays the protagonist,  a young man fighting to save his family from a curse that has haunted generations. Vshvaa, who made his debut with the film Champion, has reportedly undergone six months of intense preparation to transform himself for the role.

Talks are currently underway with a senior actor for another pivotal role. While the process has already started, the official confirmation will be made soon. The star-cast comprises prominent  actors including Mime Gopi, Aadukalam Naren, Risha Jacobs, Munishkanth, Anupama Kumar, Baba Bhaskar, Remya Suresh and several others being considered.

The shoot is scheduled to commence on the 22nd of this month and will continue for 40 consecutive days. Certain portions will also be filmed in Chennai.
