The audio and trailer of SODAKU, directed by Kamaraj Manonmani, are set to be launched at a grand event in Malaysia on Sunday, July 26, at the Batu Caves Shenga Convention Centre.

Acclaimed filmmaker and actor Lokesh Kanagaraj will officially launch the film's audio, while filmmaker-actor Venkat Prabhu will unveil the trailer. The event will also be attended by director Lingusamy, filmmaker Saran, who has penned the film's dialogues, and the film's lead cast including Natty, Vidaarth, Anandhi, Rakshitha, along with several cast and crewmembers. A number of distinguished Dato’ will grace the occasion as special guests.

Presented by Masterpiece, SODAKU is an action thriller jointly produced by Deva Entertainments and Malaysian banner Jubilee Film Productions.

The title SODAKU draws inspiration from the familiar premise that life can change in the blink of an eye. The film explores exactly such a turning point, where a single fleeting moment alters the course of one's life forever. Built around a premise that audiences can easily relate to, the story promises an emotionally engaging and suspense-filled thrilling experience in the theaters. 

Sodaku, shot entirely in Malaysia, offers audiences a visually refreshing backdrop while presenting a gripping thriller.

Celebrated filmmaker Saran, known for directing blockbuster films such as Amarkalam, Gemini and Vasool Raja MBBS, has written the film's dialogues, while Kamaraj Manonmani has penned the story and screenplay besides directing the film.

At the heart of the narrative lies an intriguing question: What if we knew today what was going to happen tomorrow?The film explores how such knowledge could transform lives, create unexpected complications, and turn ordinary existence upside down. Built around this fascinating concept, SODAKU promises audiences a fresh screenplay structure and a riveting thriller experience.

Known for choosing distinctive scripts and carving successful careers as performance-driven lead actors, Natty and Vidaarth come together for the first time in SODAKU, making the film one of the most anticipated collaborations in recent times. The others in the star-cast include Kayal Anandhi, Rakshitha (of Saravanan Meenatchi fame), Dato Ganesan Arumugam, Abhishek Shankar, and several others in pivotal roles.

Having completed principal photography, the film is currently in the final stages of post-production.
