D56 officially begins with the Dhanush – Tamizharasan Pachamuthu combination!

The shooting of D56, the 56th film of leading Tamil actor Dhanush, has officially commenced today with a grand pooja ceremony. The film is directed by Tamizharasan Pachamuthu, who won the attention of audiences with Lubber Pandhu. This marks the first collaboration between Dhanush and Tamizharasan Pachamuthu, creating considerable expectations among fans right from the beginning.

The film is jointly produced by producer Naga Vamsi on behalf of Sithara Entertainments, producer Haritha Lingasamy on behalf of Primark Productions, and producer Sai Soujanya on behalf of Srikara Studios.

The shooting commenced with a special pooja at the Karuppanasamy Temple in Maranadu, Sivagangai district, near Madurai. The event was attended by the film’s cast and crew along with several prominent personalities. The team also organised a grand feast for the public, marking the beginning of the film’s journey in a grand manner.

Actor Vadivelu said:

“Maranadu Karuppanasamy Temple is a very special and divine place. Everyone born in this village is like Karuppasamy himself. Seeing this huge gathering and the love of the people makes me extremely happy. It is wonderful to see Dhanush sir’s film pooja being celebrated on such a grand scale. After a long time, I have got the opportunity to act alongside Dhanush sir through this film. People may ask why we did not act together in between. In cinema, certain things have to happen at the right time. I am very happy that this opportunity has come now.

I believe this is a film that has the potential to become a huge success. The film does not have an official title yet, and the title will be announced in a few days.

Tamizharasan Pachamuthu is an excellent writer and director. After a long time, we have a filmmaker who can create such wonderful emotions through his writing.
