Directed by Sudheesh Shankar Vadivelu, Faahad Fasil, Kovai Sarala, Vivek Prasanna, Siddara, B. L. Starring Thenappan, Livingston, Renuka, Saravana Subbaiah, Krishna, Haritha, Telephone Raja and many others. 

Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed music for the film, On the technical front, Maareesan has composer Yuvan Shankar Raja, editor Sreejith Sarang, and cinematographer Kalaiselvan Sivaji.

Mareesan is a thriller with rural background. B. Chaudhry has produced the film.

Maareesan trailer hints as a thriller with a breezy, feel-good road film. The teaser, set to the 1957 Mayabazar song ‘Aaha Inba Nilaavinile’, opens with aerial shots of Fahadh Faasil and Vadivelu on a bike traversing diverse landscapes. 

The teaser of the film is trending with four million viewers and increased the expectation of the film. It has been announced that the film will be released in theaters worldwide on July 25.
