Buddhi Clinic Hosts Landmark “Neurofrontiers 2025” International Neuropsychiatry Colloquium

Buddhi Clinic Hosts Landmark “Neurofrontiers 2025” International Neuropsychiatry Colloquium

INA–GNG Partnership Brings 25 Global Experts to Chennai to Shape the Future of Brain–Mind Care

Buddhi Clinic, which has firmly established Chennai as a global hub for neuropsychiatry innovation through its pioneering interventional and integrative neuropsychiatry and advanced neurorehabilitation paradigms, is hosting Neurofrontiers 2025: The INA–GNG Colloquium.

This landmark gathering brings together 25 internationally acclaimed experts from Johns Hopkins University & Kennedy Krieger Institute (USA), Brown University (USA), University of Melbourne (Australia), Imperial College London (UK), and other world-leading institutions. Their collective mission: to redefine clinical paradigms for complex neurological and neuropsychiatric conditions.

The International Neuropsychiatric Association (INA) and the Global Neuropsychiatry Group (GNG) have partnered with Buddhi Clinic for this high-impact colloquium, recognizing its alignment with the global movement toward advanced, interventional neuropsychiatry.

This collaboration is further strengthened by the leadership roles of Buddhi Clinic: Dr. Ennapadam S. Krishnamoorthy, Founder, served an extended term as President of the INA during the Covid-19 pandemic, and Mr. Vivek Misra, Director–Neurotechnology at Buddhi Clinic, now serves on the INA Executive Committee.

Buddhi Dialogue: The Intellectual Summit of Day Two

The highlight of the second day is the Buddhi Dialogue on New Frontiers in Neuropsychiatry, featuring three globally respected clinician-scientists:

Prof. Jay A. Salpekar (Johns Hopkins University & Kennedy Krieger Institute) – Childhood Epilepsy

Prof. W. Curt LaFrance Jr. (Brown University) – Functional Neurological Disorders

Prof. David Coghill (University of Melbourne) – Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder

Moderated by Dr. Ennapadam S. Krishnamoorthy, this intimate session represents the intellectual pinnacle of the two-day program.

“This colloquium represents the materialization of our vision to position India at the vanguard of global neuropsychiatry,” said Dr. Krishnamoorthy. “We are not simply facilitating knowledge transfer—we are actively shaping the future of how complex brain disorders are understood and treated.”

A Scientific Program That Spans the Entire Brain–Mind Spectrum

Curated by Dr. Jasvinder Singh (Founder, GNG) and Mr. Vivek Misra, with scientific guidance from Prof. Valsamma Eapen (University of New South Wales; President, INA), the program covers major frontiers in contemporary neuropsychiatry:

Neurodevelopmental disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders

Attention-deficit and behavioural disorders

Functional neurological disorders

Traumatic brain injury and metabolic neurology

Therapeutic neuromodulation and psychedelic therapies

Deep brain stimulation and brain–computer interfaces

Artificial intelligence in neuropsychiatric diagnostics and care

Hands-On Workshops: Bridging Research and Real-World Practice

On December 14, Neurofrontiers 2025 features two specialized workshops:

Integrated Functional Electrical Stimulation – Ms. Durga D. Gawade

Non-Invasive Brain Stimulation – Mr. Vivek Misra, Head of Neuromodulation, Buddhi Clinic

These workshops translate cutting-edge research into immediate clinical application, enabling practitioners to adopt state-of-the-art protocols.

Distinguished Global Faculty

The colloquium features prominent voices from leading neuropsychiatry centers, including:

Prof. Shoumitro Deb – Imperial College London

Prof. Helen Cross – Great Ormond Street Hospital

Prof. Maria Oto – University of Edinburgh

Prof. Valsamma Eapen – University of New South Wales

Prof. Urvakhsh Mehta – NIMHANS

Their presence underscores Chennai’s emergence as a world-stage venue for neuropsychiatric thought leadership.

A Hybrid Platform Connecting Continents

Proceedings at Buddhi Clinic, Teynampet, are delivered in a hybrid format, enabling global participation. Institutions such as Kasturba Medical College (KMC) Manipal are hosting interactive classrooms where postgraduate trainees and faculty engage live with the colloquium—democratizing access to elite scientific discourse.
