If the State Government decides to extend the Stamp Duty Concession further, then.

 

“Amidst the fear of rising cases of Covid -19, this will be a timely second shot in the arm that will help the real estate sector continue its buoyancy. 

The larger markets of Mumbai and Pune in the state saw a growth of 13-15% in residential sales during the first quarter of 2021 over the previous quarter, well abled by the government’s proactive measure of providing stamp duty concessions in the second half of 2020, paired with the State’s Mission Begin Again programme. The extension of stamp duty relaxation will further significantly support the real estate sector to regain the volumes lost during the pandemic and register robust growth.”

ExxonMobil Lubricants Pvt. Ltd. today announced that it has signed an agreement with Nissan Motor India to supply lubricants for the passenger vehicles (PV) aftermarket business.

 

Commencing in April 2021, ExxonMobil will supply an extensive range of engine oils to Nissan India that is suitable for India’s BS-VI standards, while remaining compatible with older generation BS-III or BS-IV Nissan passenger vehicles. This partnership provides Nissan car owners access to advanced lubricant technology that meets the latest specifications for optimal performance reliability and potential fuel economy benefits.

SBI raises additional USD 1 billion untied loan with

SBI raises additional USD 1 billion untied loan with JBIC

 

·         SBI signed a loan agreement of USD 1 billion with Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC), taking the total facility to USD 2 billion, including USD 1 billion which was signed last year in October 2020

·         The virtual signing ceremony event was held in the presence of Mr Dinesh Khara, Chairman (SBI) along with senior executives of SBI, Mr. Hayashi Nobumitsu, Deputy Governor (JBIC) and Mr. Ayukawa Kenichi, CEO & MD (Maruti Suzuki)

·         The loan is in the form of refinance against the funding support provided to the manufacturers, suppliers and dealers of Japanese automobiles in India, whose business activities are recovering from reduced sales of automobiles due to the COVID-19

·         The financing will assist in Government of India’s ‘Make in India’ initiative

Country’s largest commercial bank, State Bank of India (SBI) has signed a loan agreement amounting to up to USD 1 billion with JBIC. SBI has signed a similar deal with JBIC in October 2020.

 

The loan is intended to promote smooth flow of funds for the whole range of business operations of Japanese automobile manufacturers in India.

 

JBIC is a policy-based financial institution, wholly owned by the Japanese government, with the objective of contributing to the sound development of Japan, the international economy and society.

 

On the occasion of signing the agreement, Mr Dinesh Khara, Chairman, SBI said “Covid 19 crisis has delivered a significant shock to global trade, disrupted production lines and depressed global demand. At a time when people are preferring personal mode of transport, this collaboration between SBI and JBIC will help the bank in extending loan facility to entire supply chain of Japanese automobile industry including suppliers, dealers and ultimately to the end users.”

 

Mr Ayukawa, MD & CEO, Maruti Suzuki said, “Maruti Suzuki is making efforts to balance between the environmental friendliness of our vehicles and our customer’s need. The special support for our environment friendly vehicles will accelerate Suzuki group’s initiative towards environmental care”.

Bharat Financial Inclusion Ltd. (BFIL), a 100% subsidiary of IndusInd Bank, today announced that it will bear the costs of COVID-19 vaccinations to inoculate over 28000 employees of the company to protect them against the coronavirus. As part of the initiative, the company will fully reimburse the vaccination costs to the employees as and when they receive the two mandated doses.

நடிகர்கள் மட்டுமே, ஒரு பிறப்பில் பல வாழ்க்கை பாத்திரங்கள் வாழ ஆசிர்வதிக்கப்பட்டவர்கள். ஒவ்வொரு படத்திலும் ஒவ்வொரு புதிய பிறப்பாக  பிறந்து, அதில் வாழ்ந்து பார்க்கும், ஆசி அவர்களுக்கு கிடைக்கிறது. இந்த சுழற்சி திரையில் தொடர்ந்து நிகழ்ந்து கொண்டே இருந்தாலும் சிலது மட்டுமே  நடிகர்களின் மனதிற்கு நெருக்கமான பாத்திரமாக இருக்கும். அதில் சில பாத்திரங்கள் வசூலில்  மிகப்பெரும் வெற்றியை பெறுகிறது. சில பாத்திரங்கள் விமர்சகர்களிடம் சிறப்பான பாராட்டுகளை பெறுகிறது. சில பாத்திரங்களை ரசிகர்களின் நெஞ்சங்களை கவர்கிறது. மிக சொற்பமான பாத்திரங்களே அனைத்து வகையிலும் முழுமையடைகிறது. அம்மாதிரியான பாத்திரங்கள் நடிகர்களின் அடையாளமாகிவிடும். என்னுடைய “மரக்கர் அரபிக்கடலிண்டே சிம்ஹம்” அந்த   வகையிலான ஒரு அழகான திரைப்படம். இந்திய அளவில்  எல்லாவகையிலும் சிறந்ததொரு நடிகரென, புகழ்பெற்ற நடிகர் மோகன்லால் அவர்களுடன் நடிக்கும் வாய்ப்பு கிடைத்த  போது, நான் மிகப்பெரும் மகிழ்ச்சியடைந்தேன். அந்த நொடியை வார்த்தைகளால் விவரித்துவிட முடியாது. பிரியதர்ஷன் போன்ற வரலாற்று பெருமை கொண்ட இயக்குநரின் படத்தில் நடிப்பது மிகப்பெரும் பெருமை. சினிமாவின் அத்தனை சாத்தியங்களையும் தினசரி படப்பிடிப்பில் அவரிடம் கற்றுக்கொண்டேன். மிகப்பெரும் பட்ஜெட்டில், மிகப்பெரும் ஆளுமைகள் இணைந்து உருவாக்கியுள்ள இத்திரைப்படம்  ப்ளாக்பஸ்டர் வெற்றியடையும் எனும் நம்பிக்கையை, அனைவருக்கும் தந்துள்ளது. விநியோக களத்திலும் திரையரங்கிலும் இப்படம் கொண்டாடப்படும்  என்பதில் எனக்கு அசைக்க முடியாத நம்பிக்கை உள்ளது. அனைத்தையும் கடந்து, மிகபெரும் பெருமை மற்றும் மிகப்பெரும் மகிழ்ச்சி யாதெனில் எங்கள் திரைப்படம் சிறந்த படம், சிறந்த ஸ்பெஷல் எபெக்ட்ஸ், சிறந்த உடை வடிவமைப்பு என மூன்று தேசிய விருதுகளை வென்றிருப்பதுதான். 

2020 மிக இனிமையான ஆண்டாக துவங்கியது. எனது திரைப்படம் “ஓ மை கடவுளே” ஒரு நடிகராக  மிகப்பெரும் பாராட்டுக்களை பெற்று தந்தது. மார்ச் மாதம் வெளியிட திட்டமிடப்பட்டிருந்த   “மரக்கர் அரபிக்கடலிண்டே சிம்ஹம்” படம் மூலம் மிகப்பெரும் அடையாளம் கிடைக்கும் என்று காத்திருந்தேன். ஆனால் பொதுமுடக்கம் காரணமாக படத்தின் வெளியீடு தள்ளிவைக்கப்பட்டது. தற்போது படத்திற்கு கிடைத்திருக்கும் தேசிய விருதுகள் படத்தின் மீது இந்தியளவில் பெரும் எதிர்பார்ப்பை உருவாக்கியிருக்கிறது. ஒரு நடிகராக தமிழ் மட்டுமல்லாது, தெலுங்கில் “நின்னில நின்னில”  மற்றும் மலையாளத்தில் “மரக்கர் அரபிக்கடலிண்டே சிம்ஹம்”  என மற்ற  மொழி திரைப்படங்களிலும் பணியாற்றுவது, சினிமா குறித்து நிறைய கற்றுக்கொள்ளும் அனுபவத்தை தருகிறது. 

இந்நேரத்தில் இப்படத்தில் எனக்கு வாய்ப்பளித்த,  தயாரிப்பாளர் ஆண்டனி பெரம்பாவூர் அவர்களுக்கும், நடிகர் மோகன்லால் அவர்களுக்கும்  மற்றும் படக்குழுவினர் அனைவருக்கும் என் இதயம்கனிந்த நன்றியினை தெரிவித்து கொள்கிறேன்.

மார்ச் 15-ம் தேதி முதல் 19-ம் தேதி வரை பஞ்சாப் மாநிலம் பாட்டியாலாவில்

 மார்ச் 15-ம் தேதி முதல் 19-ம் தேதி வரை பஞ்சாப் மாநிலம் பாட்டியாலாவில் நடைபெற்ற 24-வது தேசிய ஃபெடரேஷன் கோப்பை தடகளப் போட்டியில், தமிழகத்தின் சார்பில் பங்கேற்ற திருச்சியைச் சேர்ந்த தனலெட்சுமி 100 மீட்டர் ஓட்ட போட்டியில் தங்க பதக்கத்தையும், 200 மீட்டர் ஓட்ட போட்டியில் தூரத்தை 23.26 விநாடிகளில் கடந்து வெள்ளிப் பதக்கத்தையும் வென்றார். இதன் மூலம் அவர், 23 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன் பி.டி.உஷா நிகழ்த்திய சாதனையை முறியடித்து வரலாற்று சாதனை படைத்தார்.

இலக்கிய தாசன் 100 மீட்டர் ஓட்ட போட்டியில் வெள்ளி பதக்கத்தையும், 200 மீட்டர் ஓட்ட போட்டியில் தங்க பதக்கத்தையும் வென்றார்.

சென்னை மாவட்ட முதுநிலை தடகள சங்கத்தின் தலைவரான ரெட் ஜெயிண்ட் மூவிஸ் திரு செண்பகமூர்த்தி அவர்கள் இவர்கள் இருவரின் சாதனையும் பாராட்டி பரிசளித்தார்.

“Actors are the only species to have several reincarnations in one life.  With every film, they are born as new characters; breathe life and soul into them. The cycle repeats. Few remain close to their hearts, few win them box office status, few get accolades, and few win the love of audiences.  However, there is a rare situation where a film gets ticked in all these boxes, thereby becoming the actors' identities. Such is the beautiful case of my film "Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham". When I got an opportunity to work with “The Complete Actor of Indian Cinema – Mohanlal sir”, I inherited a never-before experience of joy, which is unexplainable through words.  Working under the iconic filmmaker Priyadarshan sir made me feel lucky every day. I could experience and learn the art of cinema that he imparted on the sets through his works. With the grand production values involved, it significantly had the word ‘BLOCKBUSTER’ written all over. It was obvious to everyone on the sets. 

I am sure the trade circles will acclaim the same with its theatrical release. However, what has made my heart embellished with immense contentment is our film winning three National Awards – Best Film, Best Special Effects, and Best Costume Designs. 

2020 started on a bright note as my film Oh My Kadavule earned recognition for my work as an actor.  I was expecting a breakthrough with Marakkar, planned as a March release but got stalled due to pandemic issues. However, these big honours before release have escalated the stature of expectations on the Pan-Indian level.  Moreover, as an actor, it's nice to be working in other industries, like Ninnila Ninnila in Telugu and Marakkar in Malayalam, which keeps educating me more about cinema. 

I thank producer Antony Perumbavoor sir, Mohanlal sir, Priyadarshan sir, and everyone in the team for making this film, special and close to my heart.”
