Love begins with sound. With breath. With a vowel.

VOWELS - An Atlas of Love charts love's wild spectrum: from fantasy to crime, romance to desire, emotion to obsession. This vibrant screen journey explores different domains of love: tender yet dangerous, sacrificial yet murderous, enchanting in its duality. 

The creators have unveiled the film's title look today (January 26, 2026), inviting audiences to enter the terrains of diversified forms of love.

Vowels are the foundation of language: they carry tone, rhythm, and emotion, giving words their shape and life. VOWELS explores love through five distinct stories, each anchored in a vowel, each expressing a different emotional state:

A – Attraction: Love at first sight. Raw, youthful, impulsive.


E – Emotion: Deep bonding. Sacrifice, longing, separation.


I – Intimacy: Physical and emotional closeness. Desire, obsession, vulnerability.


O – Obsession: Dark love. Crime, possessiveness, thriller undertones.


U – Unconditional: Pure love beyond logic. Fantasy, spiritual, eternal devotion.

Structured as an Atlas rather than linear narrative, each story exists as its own emotional territory, complete and self-contained. Together, they form a shared map of love as lived language—intimacy, desire, loss, devotion, becoming. Not to be followed, but navigated. Spare in structure, rich in feeling. These stories are masterfully directed by Dhilip Kumar, Sangeethnath, Hemanth Kumar, Santhosh Ravi, and Jagan Rajendran.

Bringing this terrain alive is an ensemble star-cast including Yugi Sethu, Chinni Jayanth, Samyuktha Vishwanathan, Raj Ayyappa, Deepak Paramesh, Nandu (Telugu fame), Bharath Bopanna, Sharath Ravi, Vijayashree, Kajal Choudhary, Sidhu Kumaresan, Vijyetha Vashist, Peter K, Akshitha Bopaiah, Bharath Mylari, Hemanth Kumar, Dharshini, Priyanka Chandrashekar, and Arul Kumar. 

Produced by Raju Sheregar, the film features Keerthan Poojaary and Sandeep Alluri capturing every nuance through cinematography, Saravana Subramaniam composing the emotional pulse, Harish Komme editing with precision, and M K Madhi crafting atmospheric worlds.

“Raawadi” starring Basil Joseph and L.K. Akshay Kumar in the lead roles, produced by S.S. Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Studio, is simultaneously made in Tamil and Malayalam with the same title. The production team has announced that the film’s shooting is briskly progressing as planned.

Raawadi, marking the directorial debut of Vignesh Vadivel, features a powerhouse ensemble star-cast including L. K. Akshay Kumar, John Vijay, Sathyan, Jaffer Sadiq, Noble K. James, Arunachaleswaran P.A., Shariq Hassan, and actress Aishwarya Sharma, among others. Adding further star value, leading Malayalam actor Basil Joseph plays a pivotal role in the film.

The cinematography is handled by Leon Britto, and music is composed by Jen Martin. Editing is being done by Barath Vikraman, and art direction is overseen by P. S. Hariharan. Priya serves as the costume designer, with K. Arun and Manikandan as executive producers. L. K. Vishnu Kumar is associated with the project as the co-producer. Raawadi is being made as a full-fledged comedy entertainer.

While the film’s shooting is progressing at a brisk pace, the title,  first look  and character glimpse have been launched by Rockstar Anirudh Ravichander on his social media page and conveyed his wishes to the entire team.

Showcasing the distinctive looks of Basil Joseph, L.K. Akshay Kumar, Jaffer Sadiq, Noble K. James, and Arunachaleswaran, have ignited massive excitement among fans. The film is gearing up for a summer release!
