It was like a six-month dance camp

`Varun Dhawan and Co. underwent exhaustive prep to match steps with the world’s best

Remo D’Souza’s upcoming musical, Street Dancer 3D, which has Varun Dhawan playing a London-based dancer of Indian origin who takes part in a in a competition with participants from different countries, is gearing up for a Republic Day release. The film, produced by Bhushan Kumar and director Remo D’souza’s wife Lizelle, explores the culture of street dancing in India, and has roped in real-life street dancers for pivotal roles.

As part of their prep, all the actors, including Shraddha Kapoor, Prabhudheva and Nora Fatehi underwent a prolonged dance workshop which started around three months before taking the film on the floors. “It was essential because we are playing with several dance forms, including crumping, breaking, hip hop, old school and B-boying. The actors trained with different choreographers, all masters in their own styles,” informs Remo, adding that the sessions continued even during the shoot in Punjab, London and Mumbai. “We kept training till the film wrapped up, so it was like a sixmonth dance camp.”

Since no training camp is devoid of injuries, this one, too, despite the presence of three physiotherapists on the set throughout the shoot, had someone or the other suffering a back or leg injury. There were moments of real anxiety when Varun broke his knee and Shraddha was down with fever just before the final face-off.

“They had to compete with the world’s best dancers when both actors fell prey to the incessant rains. However, they were very professional and dove into a crowd of 1000-plus with 500 back-up dancers and completed the climax shoot within the deadline without complaints,” the director recounts.

A choreographer himself, he is all raves for Nora, promising the film will showcase her in a dancing avatar not seen before. “Unlike ABCD and its sequel where the dancing was on stage, this film is about underground dance face-offs. Expect the unexpected,” he quips.

Street dancer 3D starring Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor, Prabhudeva & Nora Fatehi directed by Remo D’Souza will now release on 24th Jan 2020. Street Dancer 3D is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar, Krishan Kumar, and Lizelle D’Souza.

Streets To Street Dancer': A Campaign dedicated to all the dancers!

Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor starrer 'Street Dancer 3D' has been in the news for all the good reasons till now and yet again the makers of the film have taken up a wonderful initiative. 

Producers Bhushan Kumar, Lizelle D'Souza along with the director Remo D'souza in collaboration with the lead actors of the film Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor, Nora Fatehi and Pradbudheva are starting off their dance journey by launching a campaign dedicated to all the dancers and artists who are the backbone in making this film possible.

The series called 'Streets to Street Dancer' focuses on the special journey of six different people from the film who belong from a humble background will be seen dancing with the biggest stars in the country in the biggest dance film ever.

Dance doesn't divide, it unites.

The first episode of this series talks about Nivedita Sharma, whose struggle and passion for dance got her to be part of Remo D'souza's troupe and soon be Varun Dhawan's favorite.

It's the first of any marketing campaigns that has dedicated to their core people i.e. the crew of the film even before launching the main film campaign.

Prabhas starrer Saaho gets distribution rights in Japan

Actor Prabhas' fanbase is spread not only across India but world over. He has a huge fan following in many Asian countries including Japan and his past movies have done extremely well there. The actor even travelled to Japan for Baahubali's promotions.

Prabhas' Japanese fans, now, have another reason to celebrate. The star's upcoming action movie, Saaho has got its distribution rights in Japan. Sources from the team have confirmed this news and said, "Saaho will be dubbed in Japanese for the audience there, and a countrywide release is planned after its release in India. Prabhas might also go to Japan again to promote the film and interact with his fans"

Director Sujeeth is helming this project which is being bankrolled by V Vamshi Krishna Reddy, Vikram Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati under the banner UV Creations. Saaho also stars Shraddha Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Evelyn Sharma in important roles.

A day prior to the BIG day for fans of Baahubali star, Prabhas, the makers of his next film, Saaho, release a new still of the film.

The still has Prabhas looking absolutely dapper, stylish and drool worthy for millions of his female fans not just across India but even overseas.

Along with it, they also introduce a special video series which they call, 'Shades of Saaho', a rare mix of the making and film footage for the fans.

The first video will be out tomorrow, which happens to be Prabhas’s birthday.

This is to share glimpses from Prabhas's next film after the record-breaking, 1500 cr film Baahubali: The Conclusion. The fans will be watching him after more than one year and so they are super excited.

Saaho, one of the most anticipated films, starring Prabhas who enjoys pan India appeal, Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor is simultaneously being shot in 3 languages; Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

It also has a superlative ensemble cast of Jackie Shroff,  Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mandira Bedi, Chunky Pandey, Mahesh Manjrekar, Arun Vijay, Murali Sharma, amongst others.
