Karnataka Pradesh Mahila Congress on 27th September 2019 condemned the irresponsible and anti-human rights remarks of the honourable Ex- Deputy CM K.S. Eshwarappa, who likened Congress leaders to “Hijadas” implying that leaders lack courage. We wanted to remind him that these statements are uninformed, disrespectful and demeaning to the transgender community. The magnitude of courage required for a person to identify themselves as a transgender is immense. While we are struggling for acceptance and equality, these kind of remarks deny us the right to be respectable members of our society.

Dr. Pushpa Amarnath, the State President of Mahila Congress stated, “This comment is deeply hurtful for a group of people who have spent their entire life for their dignity and are struggling to overcome the prejudices and the glass ceiling. The BJP politicians use freedom of speech to dictate Human Rights”.

As my colleagues from Karnataka sat in peaceful protest at Chakravarthy Layout near Palace Road, the Karnataka Police under the instruction of the Minister manhandled women and transgenders with little or no respect for their dignity, I strongly condemn the B S Yedryurappa Government that is constantly working against the minorities, women and backward classes by coming to power in unscrupulous ways the least they can do is to respect the most disadvantaged communities.

I demand the resignation of the cowardly Minister who is a repeat offender when it comes to making insensitive and derogatory remarks, who from the protection of his position lashes out at the basic human rights of the disadvantaged. Many of my colleagues were brutally hurt and their sarees torn due to unreasonable force used by the Police. The Mahila Congress stands in solidarity with every community that is harassed, lives in fear and is subjugated by the BJP Government.

Esha Gupta & Daisy Shah signed for Raju Chadha & Rahul Mittra’s upcoming film “Tipsy"

Producers Raju Chadha & Rahul Mittra have signed actress Esha gupta & daisy shah for Tipsy.

Esha will replace Laxmi Rai who was changed after her physio advised her rest after a back injury during a song performance.

Daisy replaces Shama Sikander.

Shoot commences in Bombay on October 30th followed by a long schedule in England.

The film’s shooting is beginning with a song featuring all 5 girls and Esha Gupta, Daisy Shah, Kainaat Arora, Alankrita Sahai and Nazia Hussain have been rehearsing with dance choreographer caesar for the past two weeks.

Directed by Deepak Tijori, Tipsy is an adventure thriller chick flick.

When contacted film maker Rahul Mittra confirmed the news. The film is also produced by Mohaan Nadar and will be shot at beautiful locales across England & Scotland.

பாடல் காட்சிகளோடு சேர்த்து 2 மணி நேரம் 17 நிமிடம் ஓடக்கூடிய முழு படத்தையும் அவருக்கு காட்டினோம்.

படத்தின் இடைவேளைக்கு கூட அனுமதிக்காமல் முழு படத்தையும் ஒரே மூச்சில் பார்த்து முடித்தார்.

படத்தில் பாடல் காட்சி வரும் போது மட்டும் உதாரணத்திற்கு "உன்ன விட இந்த உலகத்தில் உயர்த்தது ஒன்னும் இல்ல" அது மாதிரி சார் என்று மட்டும் கூறுவேன். அவ்வளவுதான்

1000 படங்களுக்கு மேல் இசை அமைத்த இசைஞானியை இதற்கு மேல் விளக்கம் சொல்லி நான் தொந்தரவு செய்ய விரும்பவில்லை.

இளையராஜா பாடலுக்கு மெட்டு போடுகிறார் .அதற்கு யுவன் இசை கோர்க்கிறார். இது இருவரும் சேர்ந்து வேலை செய்யும் படம். பின்னணி இசை சேர்ப்பில் அவருக்கு நான் யோசனை சொல்ல முடியுமா, எனினும் பின்னணி இசையில் எனது எண்ணங்களை கடிதமாக எழுதி தந்தேன். அவர் அன்போடு பெற்றுக் கொண்டார்.

படத்தில் பாடல்கள் என்று வந்த போது "அண்ணன் பழனி பாரதிக்கு கவிஞர் ஏகாதேசிக்கும் கொடுக்கலாம்" என்றேன் யுவன் தரப்பில் "திரு.பா. விஜய்" என்றார்கள். நான் சம்மதித்தேன்.

ரெக்கார்டிங் தருவாயில் "பாடல் வரிகளில் ஏதேனும் மாற்றம் வேண்டுமெனில் நீங்கள் கேட்டுப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளுங்கள்" என்றார்.எனக்கு இயக்குநராக முழு சுதந்திரம் தயாரிப்பாளராக வழங்கியிருக்கிறார் யுவன்.

இது நான் யுவன் ஷங்கர் ராஜாவுடன் பணி புரியும் 4வது படம். இசைஞானியுடன் பணி புரியும் முதல் படம் . மாமனிதன் எனக்கு 7வது படம்.

இளையராஜா அவர்கள் மீது எனக்கு இருக்கிற நேசத்தால் அவர் பிறந்த பண்ணைபுரத்தில் கதாநாயகன் வாழும் ஊராக படம் பிடித்திருக்கிறேன்.

இளையராஜா அவர்களின் சொந்த ஊரில் அவர் நடந்த தெருக்களில் படம் பிடித்த பெருமையில் இருக்கிறேன்.

இதில் என் பெயரை வைத்து இளையராஜா அவர்களை சிறுமைப் படுத்த வேண்டாம் என்று அன்புடன் கேட்டுக் கொள்கிறேன் மேலும்

Apollo Hospitals Group hosted thefirst “Futuring Cardiac Care Summit” on 28^th September in Chennai. The summit provides insights and perspectives that have the potential to transform the efforts towards prevention and eradication of heart disease.

Bringing together all stakeholders on a single platform, the Futuring Cardiac Care Summit brought together key partners, expert clinical consultants, prevention specialists and Apollo Hospitals’ leadership to develop targeted recommendations and specific action steps towards reversing the epidemic of heart disease. The summit brought to the fore the synergy between modern cardiac care delivery and technology adoption for a disease free India.

Dr. Prathap C. Reddy, Founder and Chairman, Apollo Hospitals Group,said, “Cardiovascular disease is one of the major NCDs and the leading cause of death with India having the highest burden of cardiovascular disease in the world. We need to acknowledge this crisis and take urgent action to prevent and reverse the rise in cardiovascular diseases. The two highlights of the summit were:

· Apollo Hospitals Group sign MoU with Wellysis to set up joint venture in Chitoor, Andhra Pradesh:

Apollo Hospitals Group and Wellysis a spinoff company of Samsung SDS South Korea have signed anMoU to develop, manufacture and commercialise cardiac wellness, diagnostic, monitoring and therapeutic devices, which would have a positive impact on people across the world.

The joint venture will be set up in Chitoor, Andhra Pradesh. The MoU was exchanged by Mr.Rick Hongryul Kim, CTO/CMO & Co-Founder, Wellysis; and Dr.Hari Prasad, Group President, Apollo Hospitals Group; in the august presence of Dr.Prathap C. Reddy, Chairman, Apollo Hospitals Group.

· Demonstration of Cardiac Command Centre:

The demonstration of the Cardiac Command Centre with modern connected technologies enabling Tele ECH Monitoring, CICU monitoring, Tele ECHO Monitoring ,Remote Cathlab and ER Response Module. The Cardiac Command Centre will also have facilities for training and development, and a management dashboard for tracking and control. Over 40 such command centres are already live across Apollo Hospitals Group. Any doctor across the country can register for the Command Centre and gain access to the knowledge and experience of over 300 cardiologists across Apollo Hospitals’ ecosystem.

விழாவில் இயக்குநர் பொன்னி மோகன் பேசுகையில்,

“விவசாயிகளைப் பற்றியும், விவசாயத்தைப் பற்றியும் தற்போது ஏராளமான திரைப்படங்கள் வந்துகொண்டிருக்கின்றன. இது குறித்து மீம்ஸ்களும் வந்துகொண்டிருக்கின்றன. ஆனால் வாழ்க விவசாயி என்று ஏன் படமெடுக்கவேண்டும் என்று தோன்றியது என்றால்,நான் விவசாயக் குடும்பத்திலிருந்து வந்தவன்.என்னுடைய தந்தையார் குள்ளமான உருவம் தான். ஆனால் பன்னிரண்டு அடிக்கு மேல் இருக்கும் ஏர் கலப்பையை தூக்கிக் கொண்டு கம்பீரமாக நடப்பார். எங்கம்மா காளைமாட்டை பிடித்துக் கொண்டு அதிகாலை மூன்று மணியளவில் வீட்டிலிருந்து வயலுக்கு நடந்து செல்வார்கள். எங்களுடைய தெருவில் உள்ள விவசாயிகள் இது போல் நடந்து செல்வது திருவிழா போல் இருக்கும். ஆறு மைல் தொலைவு நடந்து சென்று வயலில் வேலை செய்வார்கள். நான் அந்த கலப்பையைத் தூக்க முயன்றிருக்கிறேன். என்னால் முடியாது. அதை அசைக்கக்கூட முடியவில்லை. அதே போல்காளை மாட்டின் அருகே செல்லக்கூட முடியாது. ஆனால் என்னுடைய அம்மா அதனை வசப்படுத்தி வைத்திருந்தார். அதனால் என்னுடைய சிறியவயதில் ஹீரோ ஹீரோயினாக தெரிந்தவர்கள் விவசாயிகள் தான். அதனால் விவசாயிகளின் பெருமையை எடுத்துரைக்கவேண்டும் என்று எண்ணினேன். என்னுடைய கிராமத்தில் விவசாயிக்கு உடல் நலம் சரியில்லை என்றால், அந்த வீட்டிலுள்ள பெண் விவசாயியான அவரது மனைவி அந்த கலப்பையை சுமந்து செல்வதையும், விவசாயத்திற்கு உதவி புரிவதையும் பார்த்திருக்கிறேன். நமக்கு அத்தியாவசியமான உணவைத் தயாரிக்கும் விவசாயிகளைப் பற்றி இந்தப் படைப்பை உருவாக்கியிருக்கிறேன். அதற்கேற்றாற் போல் அப்புக்குட்டியும், வசுந்தராவும் அமைந்திருக்கிறார்கள். நான் சிறிய வயதில் நேரில் கண்டதை அப்படியே கண்முன் கொண்டு வந்தார்கள்.

நடிகர் அப்புக்குட்டியும், வசுந்தராவும். இதற்காக அவர்களைப் பாராட்டுகிறேன். படத்திற்காக உழைத்த அனைவருக்கும் பாராட்டுகள். இந்த மருத நிலத்தின் படம், அனைவரின் மனதில் இடம்பெறவேண்டும் என்று விரும்புகிறேன்.” என்றார்.

இயக்குநர் சுசீந்திரன் பேசுகையில்,

“அழகர்சாமியின் குதிரை படத்திற்குப் பிறகு அப்புக்குட்டியைச் சந்திக்கும் போதெல்லாம். சரியான கதையைத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்து நடிக்கவேண்டும் என்று அறிவுறுத்திக் கொண்டேயிருப்பேன். ஏனெனில் அவர் ஒரு சிறந்த நடிகர். அவருடைய ஸ்கிரீன் பிரசென்ஸ் நன்றாக இருக்கும். நீண்ட நாளிற்கு பிறகு அப்புக்குட்டி யதார்த்தமாக திரையில் தோன்றியிருக்கிறார். இதற்காக இயக்குநருக்கு நான் நன்றி தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறேன். அழகர்சாமியின் குதிரை படத்தில் அப்புக்குட்டி நடிக்கும் போது, அவருக்கு ஜோடியாக நடிக்கப் பல நடிகைகள் முன்வரவில்லை. இந்தப் படத்தில் அவருக்கு ஜோடியாக நடித்த நடிகை வசுந்தராவை மனதார பாராட்டுகிறேன். நடிகை வசுந்தரா சிறந்த நடிகைஎன்பதை பக்ரீத் உள்ளிட்ட பல படங்களில் நிரூபித்திருக்கிறார். முதல் படத்தில் தொழில்நுட்பக் கலைஞர்கள் அமைவது கடினம். இந்தப் படத்தின் இயக்குநருக்கு அது அமைந்திருக்கிறது. அதற்காகப் பாராட்டுகள். இசையமைப்பாளர், ஒளிப்பதிவாளர், கலை இயக்குநர் என அனைவரும் இணைந்து பணியாற்றியிருக்கிறார்கள் என்பது படத்தின் டீஸர் மற்றும் இசையை பார்க்கும் போது உணர முடிகிறது. தற்போதைய சூழலில் 'வாழ்க விவசாயி ' என்கிற டைட்டிலில் படம் வெளியாகியிருக்கிறது என்றால் இதைத் திரையரங்கத்திற்கு சென்று பார்ப்பவர்களின் கூட்டம் குறைவு தான். ஆனால் படத்தில் கமர்சியல் அம்சங்கள் இருப்பதால் படம் வெற்றி பெறும் என்று நம்புகிறேன்.

ஒரு தயாரிப்பாளர் என்பவர் இயக்குநருக்கு அப்பா அம்மாவிற்குச் சமம். ஏனெனில் அப்பா அம்மாவிற்குப் பிறகு ஒரு இயக்குநரை நம்பி பணத்தை முதலீடுசெய்பவர்கள் தயாரிப்பாளர்கள் தான். விவசாயத்தை மையமாகக்கொண்ட இந்தக் கதையையும், அப்புக்குட்டி போன்ற நடிகர்களையும் நம்பி படத்தைத் தயாரித்த இந்தத் தயாரிப்பாளரை நான் மனதார வாழ்த்துகிறேன்.

இந்தப் படத்தை வெற்றி பெறவைக்கவேண்டும் என்று ரசிகர்களைக் கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறேன். இந்தப் படத்தை வாங்கி வெளியிடும் லிப்ரா புரொடக்சன்ஸ் ரவீந்திரன் சந்திரசேகரன் அவர்களுக்கும் என்னுடைய நன்றியையும் வாழ்த்துகளையும் தெரிவித்து கொள்கிறேன்.” என்றார்.

தயாரிப்பாளர் 'லிப்ரா 'ரவீந்திரன் சந்திரசேகரன் பேசுகையில்,“இந்தப் படத்தின் விழாவில் கலந்துகொள்ளுமாறு நடிகர் அப்புக்குட்டியும், படக்குழுவினரும் சில தினங்களுக்கு முன் என்னைச் சந்தித்தனர். அப்போது படத்தைப் பற்றி எதுவும் தெரியாது. ஆனால் படத்திற்கு ‘வாழ்க விவசாயி’ என்று டைட்டில் வைத்திருந்தது பாஸிட்டிவ்வாக இருந்தது. அது எனக்கு பிடித்தது. தற்போதைய சூழலில் விவசாயிகளைப் பற்றி வணிகரீதியான படங்களில் சில இடங்களில் மட்டும் விவசாயத்தைப் பற்றி வசனங்களாக மட்டுமே இருக்கும்.

தயாரிப்பாளரைப்பற்றி எனக்கு முன்பே வேறு வகையில் தெரியும். தயாரிப்பாளர் இந்தப் படத்தின் கதையை நம்பிப் படமெடுத்திருக்கிறார். அவருக்கு வணிகத்தைப்பற்றி எதுவும் தெரியாது என்பதையும் பேசும் போது தெரிந்து கொண்டேன். இருந்தாலும் அவர்களின் அழைப்பை ஏற்று இந்த விழாவில் கலந்து கொண்டிருக்கிறேன். இந்தப் படத்தின் டீஸர் மற்றும் பாடல்களை பார்த்த பின்னர் தான் இந்த படத்தின் தரம் எனக்குத் தெரிந்தது. இப்போதுதான் இப் படத்தை நான் வெளியிட முடிவு செய்திருக்கிறேன். இயக்குநர் சுசீந்திரன் சொல்லி விட்டார் என்பதற்காக இதனைச் சொல்லவில்லை. இப்படத்தின் தரமும், கன்டென்டும் எனக்கு பிடித்திருக்கிறது.

இது போன்ற சிறிய பட்ஜெட் படங்களுக்கு ஊடகம் தான் சிறந்த ஸ்பான்ஸர். இந்த படத்திற்கு வேறு ஒரு தினத்தில் இதனை விட வித்தியாசமான முறையில் விழா ஒன்றை வைத்து வெளியீட்டை அறிவிக்கிறேன். அதற்கு முன்னதாக படக்குழுவினருடன் பேச்சு வார்த்தை நடத்துவேன்.இந்தப் படத்தை திட்டமிட்டு, விளம்பரப்படுத்தி, நல்லமுறையில் தியேட்டருக்குக் கொண்டு வந்துவிடுவேன்.ஆனால் தியேட்டருக்கு ரசிகர்கள் வருகை தந்து என்னையும் வெற்றி பெறச் செய்யவேண்டும். இந்தப் படத்தில் நடித்த நடிகர்கள், நடிகைகள், பணியாற்றிய இசையமைப்பாளர், ஒளிப்பதிவாளர் , இயக்குநர், நடனஇயக்குநர் உள்ளிட்ட அனைவருக்கும் என்னுடைய பாராட்டுகள்.

நடிகை வசுந்தரா பேசுகையில்,“ இந்தப் படத்தின் இயக்குநர், நாயகன், தயாரிப்பாளர் ஆகியோர் விவசாயத்தைப் பின்னணியாகக் கொண்டவர்கள். அவர்கள் விவசாயத்தைப் பற்றியும், விவசாயிகளைப் பற்றியும் நேர்த்தியாகவும், யதார்த்தமாகவும், நேர்மையாகவும் ஒரு படைப்பை உருவாக்கியிருக்கிறார்கள். அந்தப் படைப்பிற்கு என்னால் முடிந்த வரை ஒத்துழைப்பு அளித்திருக்கிறேன். இந்தப் படத்தைப் பார்க்கும் ரசிகர்களுக்கு விவசாயிகளைப் பற்றியும், அவர்களின் தற்போதைய நிலையைப்பற்றியும் உணந்திடவேண்டும். அவர்களை உணர வைத்துவிடமுடியும் என்று நம்பி படக்குழுவினர் பணியாற்றியிருக்கிறார்கள். சிறிய பட்ஜெட் படங்களை ஊடகங்கள் தான் சிறந்த முறையில் ரசிகர்களிடம் கொண்டு சேர்க்கவேண்டும். அப்புக்குட்டிக்கு ஜோடியாக இதில் நடித்திருக்கிறேன் என்பதை விட ஒரு விவசாயிக்கு ஜோடியாக நடித்திருக்கிறேன். நகரத்து பெண்ணான என்னிடம் கிராமத்து பெண்ணாக எப்படி நடிக்கவேண்டும் என்பதை தெளிவாக எடுத்துரைத்து இயக்குநர் என்னிடமிருந்து நடிப்பை வாங்கியிருக்கிறார், அதற்காகஇயக்குநருக்கு நன்றியைத் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறேன். இந்தப் படம் விருது பெறுவதைக் கடந்து அனைவருக்கும் பிடித்த கமர்சியல் அம்சம் ஒன்றும் இடம்பெற்றிருக்கிறது. ”என்றார்.

நடிகர் அப்புக்குட்டி பேசுகையில்,“ நான் நடித்த படமொன்று மேடையிலேயே பிசினஸ் ஆகியிருக்கிறது. இதற்காக நான் சந்தோசப்படுகிறேன். இனி நான் ஒரு கோடி ரூபாய் சம்பளம் வாங்கிவிடுவேன்.நம்பிக்கையிருக்கிறது. பயப்படாதீர்கள். ஏன் நான் ஒரு கோடி ரூபாய் சம்பளம் வாங்கக்கூடாதா? நான் திரைத்துறைக்கு வந்து பத்து ஆண்டுகள் ஆகிவிட்டது. இந்த படத்தின் கதையை இயக்குநர் என்னிடம் சொல்லும் போது, என்னுடைய அம்மாவை நான் நேரில் பார்த்தது போலிருந்தது. எங்களிடம் விவசாய நிலம் கிடையாது. என்னுடைய பெற்றோர்கள் விவசாய கூலித் தொழிலாளர்கள் தான். நான் ஏன் சென்னைக்கு வந்தேன் என்றால் விவசாயம் செய்வதற்கு நிலமில்லை. நிலமிருந்தால் ஆடு மாடு மேய்த்துக் கொண்டிருப்பேன். எனக்குஒரு வேளை சோறு போடக்கூட அம்மாவால் முடியவில்லை.பிறகுநாம் ஏன் இவ்வளவு கஷ்டப்பட்டுக் கொண்டிருக்கிறோம் என்றுஎண்ணி, என்னுடைய தேவைகளுக்காக நான் சென்னைக்கு வந்தேன். அதைவிட உண்மையான விசயம் என்னவென்றால், விவசாயம் அழிந்துவிட்டது. விவசாயிகள் படும் கஷ்டத்தை இயக்குநர் விவரிக்கும் போது,இந்தப் படத்தின் கதையை விடக்கூடாது என்று எண்ணி, உடனடியாக ஒப்புக்கொண்டேன். என் கூடநடிப்பதற்கு நடிகைகள் தயங்குகிறார்கள். ஏன் தயங்க வேண்டும்? நான் நடிகனில்லையா? என்னையும் நடிகராக ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளக்கூடாதா..?அந்தவகையில் என்னுடன் நடித்த நடிகை வசுந்தராவை நான் மனதார பாராட்டுகிறேன். இனிமேல் என்னுடன் நடிப்பதற்கு நடிகைகள் முன் வருவார்கள் என்று நம்புகிறேன். ஒவ்வொரு காட்சியையும் சிறப்பாக இயக்கியிருக்கிறார். அழகர்சாமியின் குதிரை படம் எப்படி எனக்குப் பெயரும், புகழும் வாங்கிக் கொடுத்ததோ.. அதே போல் இந்த வாழ்க விவசாயி படமும் எனக்கு பெயரும், புகழும் வாங்கிக் கொடுக்கும் என்று உறுதியாக நம்புகிறேன்.” என்றார்.
