There was great expectation in the air with the question on everyone’s lips being ‘who will be this year’s Youth Icon?’ Contestants and guests, including celebrities trooped in to enjoy an evening of glitz and glamour as the 10^TH

edition of “Face of Chennai” got underway.

 The Grand Finale of IRIS Face of Chennai 2021 took place on the 6^th of March (Saturday) at The Grand by GRT Hotels. Face of Chennai is an annual event that seeks to identify complete beauty, talent, personality and positive attitude in young men and women aged between 18 -26 years. The prime target audience comprises college students and working professionals aspiring for careers in modelling and acting. The event is being conducted for 10^th consecutive years having been first launched in 2012.

Latha Krishna of IRIS EVENTS, the originator of the concept has this to say about IRIS Face of Chennai 2021, “This year's contest saw an enthusiastic response with over 500 contestants auditioned in the first level with 100 of these shortlisted for the second level. The contestants went through an intensive workshop conducted by IRIS Glam where they were instructed in Styling, Ramp Walk Techniques, Make-over and Personal Branding. Of these, 38 contestants were shortlisted to participate in the Grand Finale.”

The event is an initiative of IRIS team and IRIS Glam powered by Naturals – Training Future Stars. The show started off with a welcome dance by Ms Srilatha followed by a thematic Fashion Show choreographed by Sanjay Asrani. Mr Munaf Rahman – Mr Face of Chennai 2017 winner, an actor and model enthralled the audience by his dance performance. The event was well attended by celebrities and noted personalities from all walks of life.

 The winners were crowned by our celebrity guests –  Actor Aditya Menon, Munaf (former Face of Chennai winner) Zee TV Famous Actors Jai Akash , Reshma & Miss Namitha Ammu

Ms. Kiran Gulzar (Software Professional) was crowned as the winner of Ms. Iris Face of Chennai 2021, Ms. Muskaan Bhandari (student) was 1st runner up & Ms. Madhumita R.S (IT Profession) was 2nd runner up.

Mr. Rameez Meeran T (Software Professional). was crowned as the winner of Mr. Iris Face of Chennai 2021, Mr. Hemanth Pareek (Professional Banker) was 1st runner up & Mr. Ajith Raja R (Beat Boxer) was 2nd runner up.

Being the 10^th year Special award was instituted this year MR GLAM & MISS GLAM Won by Mr Sandesh and Neha Kumarai

  IRIS GLAM powered by Naturals celebrated its first anniversary marking the culmination of four batches of young men and women who stepped into the demanding world of fashion and glamour.

The eventful year saw a significant achievement as IRIS GLAM powered by Naturals broke the GUINNESS World Record for the most number of fashion models gathered on a single stage.

It was a red letter day for the fourth batch of trainees as it marked the end of eight weeks of intensive training where they were instructed by the best of trainers. IRIS GLAM powered by Naturals is an initiative aimed at providing institutional training, nurturing and mentoring to future models, actors and stage personalities. The ceremony held at Hotel Savera – Chennai, saw the participants demonstrate what they learnt through a series of performances including acting, bollywood dance, thematic fashion show choreographed  by Sanjay Asrani 

IRIS GLAM powered by Naturals offers courses conducted by experts who are achievers and leaders in their respective areas of specialization. The participants were trained in areas as diverse as professional attitude, grooming, confidence, poise, dancing & acting, choreography, self-presentation and personality development.  The course is comprehensive and multi-dimensional and is designed to transform participants into professionals ready to play a role in the world of glamour.

IRIS GLAM powered by Naturals has engaged channel partners for various aspects of training. They are Naturals for Grooming, FIDA-The design School for Styling, Sanjay Asrani for Fashion choreography, Resham for Fashion photography , Nandita Pandey for Personal branding and Queen Cobra for Dance choreography.

A short film featuring the participants, directed by Rashman kumar from Akeanum Acting Academy was screened during the show.

The passing out students were awarded certificates and trophies besides a portfolio comprising still images and video clips.

The Ceremony was well attended by prospective clients from the world of entertainment including producers, directors, event managers, advertisers and model co-ordinators

Chennai, January 2019: It was a red letter day for 16 future celebrities as the passing out ceremony of IRIS Glam powered by Naturals marked the culmination of eight weeks of intensive training.  IRIS GLAM powered by Naturals is a first of a kind initiative aimed at providing institutional training, nurturing and mentoring to future models, actors and stage personalities. The ceremony held at Hotel Savera – Chennai, saw the participants showcasing what they learnt during the course through a series of performances including Bollywood dance directed by Queen Cobra and a Thematic fashion show choreographed by fashion choreographer Sanjay Asrani.

The passing out students were awarded certificates and trophies by Film Director Dr. Vasanth S. Sai and was well attended by celebrities from different walks of life. Moreover each of them was presented a professional portfolio comprising still images and video clips. The Ceremony was well attended by prospective clients from the world of entertainment including producers, directors, event managers, advertisers and model co-ordinators.

IRIS GLAM powered by Naturals in association with FIDA also took the opportunity to announce the launch of its attempt to enter the Guinness Book of Records for the most number of professional models ever gathered in a single venue.
