முன்னோக்கிய கதைக்களங்கள் என்பது தமிழ் சினிமாவில் மிகவும் அரிது. அப்படி வெளியான படங்களை விரல்விட்டு எண்ணிவிடலாம். தற்போது முன்னோக்கிய கதைக்களம் ஒன்று தமிழ் சினிமாவில் பிரம்மாண்டமாகத் தயாராகிறது. இதுவரை தமிழ் சினிமாவில் மட்டுமல்ல, இந்திய சினிமாவிலேயே வந்திராத ஒரு புத்தம் புதிய கதைக்களத்துடன் இளம் படை ஒன்று களம் காணவுள்ளது.

எந்தவொரு இயக்குநரிடமும் உதவி இயக்குநராக பணிபுரியாத பிரமோத் சுந்தர் இயக்கவுள்ள இந்தப் படத்தின் பூஜை சென்னையில் நடைபெற்றது. 'கலியுகம்' எனப் பெயரிடப்பட்டுள்ள இந்தப் படத்துக்காகப் பிரம்மாண்டமான அரங்குகள் அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. அதில் படப்பூஜையுடன் படப்பிடிப்பும் தொடங்கியது. விளம்பரத் துறையில் பணிபுரிந்து, சில குறும்படங்களை இயக்கியுள்ளார் பிரமோத் சுந்தர்.

இதில் பிரதான கதாபாத்திரத்தில் ஷ்ரத்தா ஸ்ரீநாத் நடிக்கவுள்ளார். இந்தப் பூஜையில் அவருடன், படக்குழுவினரும் கலந்துக் கொண்டனர். இந்தப் பூஜை கரோனா வழிமுறைகளைப் பின்பற்றி படக்குழுவினர் பங்கேற்றனர். இந்தப் படத்தை ஆர்.கே இண்டர்நேஷனல் நிறுவனம் சார்பாக ப்ரைம் சினிமாஸ் நிறுவனத்தின் உரிமையாளர் கே.எஸ். ராமகிருஷ்ணா பெரும் பொருட்செலவில் தயாரிக்கிறார்.  ஹாரர் த்ரில்லர் பாணியில் இந்தப் படம் உருவாகிறது.

முன்னோக்கிய கதைக்களம் என்பதால் கலை இயக்குநரின் பணி என்பது மிகவும் முக்கியமானது.  இதற்காக பல்வேறு விஷயங்களை ஆராய்ச்சி செய்து, இந்தப் படத்துக்கு அரங்குகளைப் பிரம்மாண்டமாக உருவாக்கியுள்ளார் கலை இயக்குநர் என்.சக்தி வெங்கட் ராஜ். இந்த அரங்குகள் பார்வையாளர்களைக் கண்டிப்பாக ஆச்சரியப்படுத்தும் என்பதில் சந்தேகமில்லை. இந்தியத் திரையுலகின் முன்னணி ஒளிப்பதிவாளரான பி.சி.ஸ்ரீராமிடம் பணிபுரிந்த ராம்சரண் இந்தப் படத்துக்கு ஒளிப்பதிவு செய்யவுள்ளார்.

புதுமையான கதைக்களம் கொண்ட இந்தப் படத்தில் முழுக்க இளம் படையே பணிபுரியவுள்ளது. படப்பிடிப்பை முடித்துவிட்டு, வெளியீட்டுத் தேதியை முடிவு செய்யப் படக்குழு முடிவு செய்துள்ளது. காட்சியமைப்புகள், திரைக்கதை, அரங்குகள் என அனைத்துமே பார்வையாளர்களை ஆச்சரியப்படுத்தும் என்கிறார் இயக்குநர் பிரமோத் சுந்தர்.

Madhavan-Shraddha Srinath starrer “Maara” First Look

From the moment, it was announced and launched, Madhavan-Shraddha Srinath starrer Maara had created a beam of decent expectations. Significantly, the most anticipated first look of this film which was unveiled yesterday morning  (October 9, 2020) wowed the crowds for its innovative and colourful presentation. 

What is more exciting for the team is that it has found a platform of big release (OTT) through Amazon Prime Video.

In addition to the exquisitely colourful first look, the announcement on the release date has brought forth an excitement among fans. The romantic tale laced emotional and surprising premise will be premiering on Amazon Prime Video from December 17, 2020. The first look poster has lots of visual significance involving the presence of lead characters and a distant view of a lady in portrait mode. It also comprises two different scenic backdrops of a beach and a mountain. With such a creative appeal,  all these elements assure that they have a substantial connection with the story. 

Filmmaker Dhilip Kumar, who earlier found fame through a Tamil movie ‘Kalki’ that, was streamed on Netflix, is directing this film apart from writing the script along with Bipin Ragu. Ghibran’s score has always been a boon for love stories, and ‘Maara’ team assures that the album will be a treat for music lovers. Especially, with Think Music bagging the audio rights, the album is sure to find the golden compass leading to the destination of tremendous success.  Thamarai has penned lyrics, and Bhuvan Srinivasan is the editor.  The film’s poster assuring that it has lots to offer as a visual treat, cinematographers Karthik Muthukumar-Dinesh Krishnan B and art director Ajayan Chalissery is sure to win a myriad of appreciations.

Srinath was completed before the outbreak of Covid 19 pandemic.

The post-production work and re recording will commence soon. We are strictly adhering to the
SOPs laid down by the Government and are keeping the safety of our team members on
top priority.

Ghibran is composing music for 'Maara' and Thamarai is penning lyrics, the film is being
edited by Bhuvan Srinivasan. Dhilip Kumar, who has directed many ad films and a Tamil
film ‘Kalki’ that won huge recognitions with its release on Netflix is helming this project.
There are lot more prominent names in the Cast & Crew that will be a surprise factor,
which will be revealed shortly.

K 13 spins up fortune in single screens too

Arulnithi-Shraddha Srinath starrer K13 has witnessed an incredible reception among the film critics and audiences. The film’s worldwide release happened on May 3 and with viral strong word of mouth publicity, the shows and screens are gradually getting increased. Moreover, what has sent the entire team to seventh heaven is the positive response that is overflowing from the other regional industries, which is keen on remaking it as well. 

Producer SP Shankar of SP Cinemas says, “This is something beyond our expectations. Initially, we thought that such thrillers like K13 would find an instant positive reception across the multiplex audiences alone. Surprisingly, we are so much elated to see the film getting good response across the sub-urban and rural areas too. Thanks to Arulnithi for being the first and foremost attraction. It’s the image that he has created across the years that his movies would have some uniqueness, which gradually drew audiences for this film. While the film critics have sharing positive reviews, the word of mouth publicity from the general audiences has been increasing the occupancy of theatres for our movie. Barath Neelakantan has proved his proficiency in delivering exactly what he promised as script, which has a universal appeal. We are extremely happy to see many leading production houses from Telugu and Hindi industry have approached us for the remake rights.” 

Starring Arulnithi and Shraddha Srinath in lead roles, the film is directed by Barath Neelakantan and is produced by SP Shankar and Santha Priya for SP Cinemas. Apart from the spellbinding performances of the lead actors, the reception for Aravinnd Singh’s cinematography, Sam CS’ stupendous BGM and Ruben’s editing have been getting good reception as well.
