Watch who survives the zealous semi-final showdown of Dance Vs Dance on COLORS Tamil

The much-awaited face-off is finally here, as COLORS Tamil, the youngest GEC in Tamil Nadu is all set to telecast the semi-finals of hit reality series Dance Vs Dance (DVD) on 16^th and 17^th February 2019.  As the battle for coveted title intensifies, the upcoming episode will witness a dance off between eight talented pairs of DVD. NakkuMukka, fame actor, Nakkhul and legendary choreographer Brinda Master will be joining the judge's panel. Actor Poorna will also be seen donning the special guest hat on this power packed episode.

Launched during November 2018, Dance Vs Dance is a first of its kind reality dance-off show where talented dancers from across the state were brought together to battle against each other in pairs for numerouno position. The show quickly gained popularity among the audience as its packed with entertainment and for the competitiveness amongst participants. With a plethora of star judges like Oviya, Simran, Priya Mani and more appearing on the grand stage, the show has paved way for many talented dancers to showcase their moves.

Chennai bags another World Record for its favourite delight

*Chennai bags another World Record for its favourite delight, Dr.Chef Vinoth leads the team of Saravana Bhavan Chefs*

Renowned chef and educationist, Dr.Vinoth Kumar made the city proud on Friday by preparing the largest dosa in the world in Namma Chennai on Friday. He led a team of 60 chefs from Saravana Bhavan who made 100-feet-long dosa at the IIT- Madras campus at 3pm. It may be noted that Vinoth Kumar is already a five time world record holder.

Previously, Hotel Daspalla, Ahmedabad, held the record for longest dosa to be made in the world. The dosa measures 16.68 m (54 ft 8.69 in) and the feat was performed in 2014.

The 100-feet-dosa was prepared by using 37.5 kgs of batter. The ingredients used include 10 kilograms of rice flour, two kilograms chickpeas, green gram 500 grams, who green gram two kilograms, whole black gram 1 kg, rice 10 kgs, salt 500 grams and 9.5 litres of water.

The dosa was made on 105 feet pan specially made for the purpose in coordination with the engineering team of Saravana Bhavan. The pan was maintained at the temperature of 180-200 degrees celsius to ensure the dosa batter doesn’t set immediately.

"Tamil Nadu is famous to the belief that serving food to others is a service to humanity. All the hotels have been serving dosa dish since generations and this is the best way to give back to the city. Tamil Nadu should be recognized for what it is best at and I am feeling so proud to have showcased it this way. I am looking forward to more feats like this," said chef Vinoth.

Actor Nakul's wife Sruthi Nakul, Saravana Bhavan GM, Madan, HR Damodaran, MD, Saravanan were also a part of the event.
