for her single ‘Naam’

The song of unconditional love is presented by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series

After winning hearts with several chartbusters over the years, the versatile Tulsi Kumar is all set to bring audiences another soulful song. In 2019, Tulsi not only had massive hits with Tera Ban Jaunga (Kabir Singh), O Saki Saki (Batla House ) and Enni Soni (Saaho) but is now conquering the independent music space. In 2020, Tulsi is giving her fans some first time collaborations. After Tere Naal with Darshan Raval, Tulsi has collaborated with Punjabi singer Millind Gaba, who has delivered several hits along with talented lyricist Jaani.

Presented by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series, composed by Nirmaan, with music by Millind himself, Naam will be the trio’s first song together that will show you how ‘love always finds its way back’.

Tulsi Kumar, who has always admired Jaani and Millind’s work says, "We wanted the video to connect with the common people and make us touch base with our human side. The whole team has put in their efforts to bring this song together. 'Naam' is one of those sweet, emotional songs that will leave you with a smile on your face”.

Shot before the country went under lockdown, the teams had a fun time filming the music video featuring Tulsi Kumar and Millind Gaba and directed by Arvindr Khaira. Speaking about his experience of creating Naam singer Millind says, “I'm pretty excited about this track as it's my first collaboration with Tulsi Kumar, who is so humble and down-to-earth. We started working on this song over 9 months ago and wanted the composition to do justice to Jaani's beautiful lyrics. All our fans eagerly await the release of this track and we are so happy to bring it to audiences. The music video is truly next level.”

After creating frenzy with Pachtaoge, lyricist Jaani talks about Naam, “Love is a complex emotion but the simplest way of explaining it is people being there for eachother no matter what the obstacles or problems and that's what 'Naam' is trying to convey. I'm happy to collaborate with Tulsi Kumar and Millind Gaba who brought the words to life."

Says composer Nirmaan, "Working on this song was a great experience. We kept it simple yet relatable and we hope audiences enjoy it."

Says Arvindr Khaira, who directed the music video, "The soothing yet nostalgic melody of the song inspired the concept of 'Naam'. It was wonderful working with Tulsi and Millind as they are very dedicated and honest as artists."

Tulsi Kumar adds to her skill set; learns the cello and contemporary dance form for her latest single, ‘Naam’

Riding high on the success of her recent single Tere Naal, the very Versatile Tulsi Kumar whose conquering the independent scene of music is all set with her next. The singer, who has several blockbuster songs to her credit, including Tera Ban Jaunga (Kabir Singh) , O Saki Saki (Batla House ) Soch Na Sake (Airlift) among others, now has a special surprise for her fans across the country .

The singer will be seen not only playing the cello but also performing contemporary dance in her latest single ‘Naam’ also featuring the successful singer Millind Gaba. Tulsi has left no stone unturned in giving a treat to her audiences with her newly learnt skills.

Presented by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and penned by Jaani of Pachtaoge fame, the romantic song touches base with listeners’ human side and connects with the simple emotion of unconditional love. Naam that is composed by Nirmaan and music by Millind will show you how ‘love always finds its way back’ that’s directed by Arvindr Khera.

For the video, Tulsi Kumar trained in contemporary dance with her choreographer Shreoshi for a few weeks and also juggled by taking Cello lessons, so as to do justice to her character in the music video. Talking about her first-time experiences, singer Tulsi Kumar says, “This song has a grand music production with a wide string section, cello portions and various other instruments so it’s a musically rich track.











 In the video I play a girl who is inclined towards music and plays the cello .I took lessons to play the Instrument, from understanding how to hold this grand instrument, to playing it in a basic way. The video also has a chunk of contemporary dance and while I’m not a trained dancer, I always leaned towards it and loved to learn . When we decided to include a contemporary dance section for this particular video , I trained with my Choreographer for a few days as this form of dance is very intricate has certain techniques like lifts and turns  etc involved, hence learning and training beforehand was essential.”

Bhushan Kumar's Naam, is a song of unconditional love penned by Jaani and vocals by Tulsi Kumar and Millind Gaba. The single will be out on 27th July 2020 on T-Series' YouTube channel.

Bhushan Kumar ecstatic as T-Series leads in IFPI Global Music 

Report with 5 singles and 5 film albums in top 10 list of India

When it comes to the Indian music scenario, Bhushan Kumar's T-Series has been a complete gamechanger. Especially in the last few years, T-Series has been single-handedly ruling the charts, with blockbuster music. While T-Series got the prestigious global recognition by turning out to be the most followed channel on YouTube in the world, 2020 has added another feather to the cap of achievements for the music label. In the IFPI Global Music Report - a recently launched list of top 10 music albums and songs from India, T-Series leads the list with 5 out of 10 in each category.

With sheer determination and passion, the T-Series team has managed to build a solid base and following for itself. Today, they not only hold the record for being the most followed channel globally, but also are the frontrunners in creating great content in terms of film albums, music singles and videos. In the list of top 10 songs according to the report released yesterday, T-Series has 5 of them. Dhvani Bhanushali's Vaaste tops the charts followed by O Saki Saki (Batla House), Pachtaoge, Bekhayali (Kabir Singh) and Dheeme Dheeme (Pati Patni Aur Woh). In the top 10 albums list of 2019, Bhushan Kumar's company alone has 5 entries again. Luka Chuppi, Kabir Singh stand at number 1 and 2 respectively, followed by Batla House, Bharat and Pati Patni Aur Woh in the top 10.

In this time of need, when the world is going through a major health crisis, with the Covid-19 outbreak disrupting all plans, T-Series has still managed to deliver entertainment and music videos to its loyal audience base.

 Bhushan Kumar, who's extremely happy and ecstatic about the achievement, shares, "While the world is going through one of its toughest phases, music is what will keep us going. They say music has healing powers, and we are trying to put out as much valued content as we can, till we all return to our normal lives. John Abraham’s 'Batla House' Goes On Floors!

 After their last success ‘Satyameva Jayate’, John Abraham, Nikkhil Advani and Bhushan Kumar have reunited for a thriller dram titled ‘Batla House’. The makers have commenced shooting for the film as they announced the same on social media sharing an image from the sets.

Directed by Nikkhil Advani, the film is inspired by the real encounter that took place a decade ago on 19 September in Delhi. The film will star John Abraham in the role of Sanjeev Kumar Yadav as the one who spearheaded the Batla House encounter. Nikkhil plans on shooting the film in Delhi, Jaipur, Lucknow, Mumbai, and Nepal. The film will be jointly produced by T-Series, Emmay Entertainment & Motion Pictures LLP and JA Entertainment in association with Bake My Cake Films.

A poster of the film was released a poster last month announcing that the film will release on 15th August, 2019.
