ACTOR AADHI’S BILINGUAL FILM CLAP

The team ‘CLAP’ going whelming with vivid and painstaking efforts has successfully completed its first schedule, which actually wraps up 50% of the shooting. This entire phase of filming in Chennai includes major talkie portions shot with the major star-cast of this film.

Sharing the news, producer IB Karthikeyan of Big Print Pictures says, “We are happy to announce that our first schedule of CLAP has been successfully wrapped up. All credit goes to filmmaker Prithvi Aditya, team, Aadhi, Akansha Singh, Krisha Kurup, Nasser sir, Munishkanth sir, Prakash Raj sir, Mime Gopi sir and everyone in the team. Debut filmmakers always have proficiency in narrating unique stories engrossingly, but the real skill is about how they execute them. I am very much elated with the way Prithvi is shaping up this film. I happened to watch some of the footages and it really looked best and I am curiously waiting to see how it turns up as a final product. With this first schedule, we have completed 50% of the shooting that involves major talkie portions. We are commencing the second schedule from first week of September in Hyderabad, which will have the massive athletic drama portions in stadium and songs to be shot in grandeur.”
Speaking about the actors in the film, “It might look like a maximized statement for we are just done with first schedule. However, as far as concerned with performances, these actors are really doing a best job giving immense life to their roles. As a team, we are all waiting to complete the shoot at the earliest and take it forward to the musical magician Isaignani Ilayaraja sir, who is sure to give new life to it.”

Praveen Kumar, whose cinematography was highly appreciated for his recent release ‘Jiivi’, is cranking camera. Ragul (Editor) and Vairabalan (Art) are the other major technicians of CLAP, which is simultaneously made in Tamil and Telugu.

With IB Karthikeyan producing this film for Big Print Pictures, P. Prabha Prem, G. Manoj & G. Sri Harsha are co-producing this film.

Actor Aadhi’s “Clap – The Sound of Success” launched with ritual ceremony

Sports and films are the only platforms that inject the tonic of oneness and unity. These have been the gateways to such paradisiacal feeling, where crowds forget the classifications and differentiations, thereby coming together to celebrate the moments. This is one good valid reason why films based on ‘Sports’ genre evokes high level enthusiasms among the audiences beyond the linguistic barriers and regional boundaries. With this season having the heralded films of this paradigm consistently hitting screens, here’s the latest one with more exceptional constituents. Titled ‘Clap – The Sound of Success’ starring Aadhi in lead role was launched this morning (12-06-2019) followed by 

shooting. 

Director Prithvi Aditya says, “Yes, we are coming across many sports based films and it’s really nice to see that the contemporary filmmakers are bringing new and different dimensions through this genre breaking the stereotypical elements. In the same manner, “CLAP” will also have its own exceptional premise. Aadhi sir looks as a perfect epitome of an athlete, but he took additional efforts in preparing for this role. Akansha Singh, who has shot to fame for her admirable performances in Telugu movies like Malli Rava and many TV shows including Star Plus will be seen playing the title role. Krisha Kurup (Goli Soda 2, Angelina fame) is also playing the other lead role in this film playing the role of an athlete. Soon after signing the film, she  took special personal interest in preparing for the role and underwent 2-3 months of training. Nasser sir will be essaying the role of antagonist while Mime Gopi has a pivotal role. Munishkanth will appear throughout the film having scope for both humour and performances too. Prakash Raj sir is essaying a substantial role in this film and the major plot is driven by his character.”

On having Maestro Ilayaraja compose music, he says, “Our entire film crew is blessed to have Isaignani Ilayaraja sir onboard. The reason why we desperately wanted him for this film is because it has an ‘emotional’ premise although it’s based on sports drama. Moreover, he is the only magician, who can bring life to such emotions with his Midas-touch. The film has 5 songs that involve emotional and motivating tracks and the composing will soon commence.”


Praveen Kumar, whose upcoming film ‘Jiivi’ is scheduled for month end release is handling cinematography for “Clap” and he is already high on fame for his camera works in “Mannin Maindhargal’, which had its huge spotlighting attraction in Star Sports. The others in the technical crew include Ragul (Editor) and Vairabalan (Art). To be simultaneously made in Tamil and Telugu, the film is produced by  I B Karthikeyan of BIG PRINT PICTURES and co- produced by P. Prabha Prem of PMM FILMS and G. Manoj & G. Actor Aadhi turns athlete

With strings of success streaked in every film, actor Aadhi’s impeccable choice of scripts has scored him big. From genres involving rustic drama, supernatural thrillers to fantasy, he has shined as a star with immense performances. Now it’s time for him to take a leap into new zone as he will be seen playing lead role in Athletics sports based film, directed by debut filmmaker Prithivi Adithya. 

"As soon as I completed the script or let me put it this way. While sketching the lead character, I could visualize Aadhi sir in the first place. Obviously, the reason is his well built physique that an athlete would have. Gradually, after completing the script, I decided to give a try narrating the script to him. It was a doubtful venture for as most of his lineups are already looking huge. Finally, to work with him on this project has energized my spirits and I am looking forward to deliver a commendable work. We are now finalizing the other actors and technicians. Praveen Kumar is handling cinematographer for this film and he has already completed shooting for his debut film ‘Jiivi’, which is hitting screens in June. In addition, he has already on big fame for shooting ‘Mannin Maindhargal’, a special programme for Star Sports."

With a wide array of sports based films consistently seen on big screens, director Prithivi assures that this one is exceptional. He adds, "This is going to be a film that delves into the world of ‘Athletics’ and the challenges that protagonist faces in accomplishing his dreams."

The team is currently holding talks with some of the top league actresses to play the female lead. Apart from cinematographer Praveen Kumar, Editor Ragul and Art Director Vairabalan have been signed up for the project. Sri Harsha of Cuts and Glory Studios, this will be a bilingual film simultaneously made in Tamil and Telugu.

டோரா படத்தில் இணை இயக்குநராக பணியாற்றிய மனோஜ் தாமோதரன் இப்படத்தை இயக்குகிறார். இவர் இயக்குநர் சற்குணத்திடம் உதவி இயக்குநராக பணிபுரிந்தவர். படத்தைப் பற்றி இயக்குநர் மனோஜ் தாமோதரன் கூறியதாவது, 

"இப்படம் முழுக்க முழுக்க காமெடியை அடிப்படையாக கொண்டது. அதே சமயம் படத்தில் சயின்ஸ் பிக்‌ஷன் கலந்த ஒரு பேண்டசி விசயமும் இருக்கிறது. அது ரசிகர்களை வெகுவாக கவரும். அந்த வகையில் படத்தின் திரைக்கதை அமைக்கப் பட்டிருக்கிறது.  படத்தில் மிக முக்கிய அம்சமாக ஹன்சிகாவின் கதாபாத்திரம் இருக்கும். நடிகர் ஆதிக்கு இப்படம் அவரது கரியரில் முக்கியமான படமாக இருக்கும். மேலும் ஆதியின் ஜோடியாக நடிக்கும் பாலக் லல்வாணி உள்பட படத்தில் பங்குபெறும் அத்தனை கதாபாத்திரங்களும் பெரிதாகப் பேசப்படும். இந்தப் பார்ட்னர் நிச்சயம் பக்கா எனர்ஜிடிக் மற்றும் எண்டெர்டெயின்மெண்ட் மூவியாக இருக்கும்" என்றார்.

Actor Aadhi extends his support for Gaja victims

While a lot of youngsters and relief teams are working towards helping the survivors of Gaja Cyclone

Aadhi and his team have recognized areas which were less accessed and deprived of relief material.

The team visited and distributed approx. 5 tonnes of relief materialincluding basic necessities like food, medicines, bedsheets, tarpaulin sheets, solar light, mosquito nets etc to 520 families in 4 villages surrounding Peravoorani and Aranthangi, based on their ration cards, on the 1st of December, 2018.

Mirugam Aadhi and the team also insisted that everybody should take all the possible steps to ensure that the victims of GajaCyclone are able to resume their normal lives at the earliest and help resurrect the huge loss every farmer has incurred.
