Eagle's Eye Productions produces 'Petromax', a comedy-thriller starring Tamanna in the lead directed by Rohin Venkatesan

Eagle's Eye Productions, a company known for distributing many silver jubilee films, forays into film production for the first tine through 'Petromax'.

Eagle's Eye Productions in it's very first production itself has chosen a strong women centric storyline, in proportion with thrill and comedy to make it more entertaining.

Tamanna, who is on track to create her own name and style, is focussing on selecting women centric roles and rational storyline. This movie has the privilege  to be first on her list with Tamanna as the female lead for this comedy-thriller.

Rohin Venkatesan, the director of 'Adhe Kangal' who is known for his unique story telling style and presentation is directing this movie. 

Yogi Babu, Muneeskanth, Sathiyan, Kali Venkat, and TV fame TSK all join hands to in this comedy bandwagon where in Tamanna leads the pack.

Along with this explosive comedy team, Prem, Sreeja, KSG Venkatesh, Baby Monica and many others have played their roles to perfection in this movie.

Every man has one or the other problem. In a bid to solve their individual problems, they all join together and form a team to address their issues. And what was the issue? Who was the person behind it? Did they solve that issue?  This movie is all about the issue, the person behind it and how they managed to arrive at the resolution, captured by the director in a differently thrilling and funny backdrop.

Dani Raymond is trusted with cinematography while Leo John Paul takes care of editing.

Ghibran has scored the music while art is trusted with Vinoth Rajkumar.

Kanne Kalaimaane gets International recognition now

Critically acclaimed filmmaker Seenu Ramasamy has possessed a quality that thrusts audiences into attention. Especially, the way he exhibits the beauty of nativity with so much realistic story premise and naturalistic characters commutes us into his world of movies. Incisively, this has made him a favourite filmmaker of not just our home town, but across various regional industries. Now, his recent outing “Kanne Kalaimaane” has carved a niche of spectacular recognition at couple of International film festivals. The Udhayanidhi Stalin-Tamannaah starrer film has been officially selected for Jury Review at Dada Saheb International Film Festival Mumbai 2020 and winning ‘Outstanding Achievement Award’ at 30th season of Calcutta International Cult Film Festival.

Sharing the good news, National award winning filmmaker Seenu Ramasamy says, “I feel this more as a victory to our entire Tamil film fraternity. More than being happy, it’s been an enlightening process, where I have discovered a new genre called ‘Human Relationships and Emotions’, which can touch and appeal anyone beyond the language and regional ties. Even before making its way into such International Film Festivals, I was greatly rejoicing over the critical reception of the film among press, media and general audiences. There were times, when award winning films were more termed as ‘Art’ genre and wouldn’t have a proper recognition among general audiences, but to see ‘Kanne Kalaimaane’ getting ticked in both the boxes gives me more courage and confidence to proceed making such movies in near future. I thank Udhayanidhi Stalin and Tamannaah, who breathed more life into their characterizations and the entire crew.”

Kanne Kalaimaane’ has finally got its affirmation of release

As a producer and actor, Udhayanidhi Stalin is on cloud nine as his upcoming film ‘Kanne Kalaimaane’ has finally got its affirmation of release for February 22. The film’s trailer and songs have already won the special interests of universal audiences and he feels so much happy about. 

 “Just as the title ‘Kanne Kalaimaane’ goes, I feel many have treated this film as an endeared one,” smilingly says actor-producer Udhayanidhi Stalin, who feels that all credit goes to filmmaker Seenu Ramasamy. “Of course, he is the man behind such attractions. Although we have come across many films based on nativities, Seenu Ramasamy sir has always chosen unique story premises. His wizardry in creating characters and the conflicts they encounter have appealed to the universal audiences for real-life reflections.” He continues to speak about the filmmaker with a blend of reality and fun saying, “Even if I am not a part of Seenu sir’s movies in future, I would like to be the first one to listen to his scripts. This, itself is a beautiful process as he slowly commutes us into his world of story, characters and drama, which gives a wholesome experience of having travelled with them.” 

Looking back into the inception point of Kanne Kalaimaane, Udhayanidhi Stalin recollects saying, “Initially, Seenu Ramasamy sir had narrated a different script to me, which actually the protagonist’s role demanding a herculean physique. Both of us personally felt that it would sumptuously take around 4-5 months to gain that look. More than me, Seenu sir has always been a perfectionist who doesn’t compromise so easily on anything. Since, we had to kick-start the project at the earliest due to other factors, he narrated me the script of Kanne Kalaimaane, which imparted a lease of confidence that it will definitely stand out to be a special film for me.” 

Udhayanidhi Stalin claims that working with Tamannaah was a challenging process for she is a one-take artist now. “Yes, there are lots of emotional scenes in the film, which was easily performed by Tamannaah. Maybe, she was already used to the school syllabus of Seenu Ramasamy and I was like awestruck looking at how she managed to nail it down in single-takes during many times.” 

On many claims about ‘Kanne Kalaimaane’ being categorized as a film based on ‘Agriculture and its crisis’, Udhayanidhi Stalin clarifies, “The protagonist in this film is a farmer who believes in organic farming or else, there is nothing to do much with it. The film is about what happens couple of good-hearted people leading a honest life come across each other. In simple words, Kanne Kalaimaane is a film about humanity and relationships.” 

Produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin for Red Giant Movies, the film has musical score by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography handled by NK Ekambaram.
