Prabha Khaitan Foundations Kitaab series hosts the launch of Jairam Ramesh’s new book The Light of Asia on 26th June, Saturday at 6 PM. The chief guest for the event is Gopalkrishna Gandhi, a prominent politician and former diplomat.

Jairam Ramesh launches his book The Light of Asia. He is a present Member of Parliament and Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Science & Technology, Environment & Forests and Climate Change. Jairam Ramesh has also served as a Union Minister between 2006 and 2014. 

Prabha Khaitan Foundation is dedicated to all round development of social, cultural, welfare and humanitarian aspects of Indian society. It is a non-profit trust founded by Late Dr Prabha Khaitan - an eminent litterateur, philanthropist, social worker, and industrialist. Based in Kolkata, the organization promotes art, culture and literature of India and is engaged in many welfare activities with its associates for children, women and the elderly. Prabha Khaitan Foundation presents their first of Kalam series in Chennai with celebrated poet and scholar, Yatindra Mishra on 25th June at 4 PM



Prabha Khaitan Foundation presents their first of Kalam series in Chennai, a virtual session with Yatindra Mishra the celebrated Hindi poet, editor, music and cinema scholar in conversation with Riddhima Doshi, Ehsaas Women of Udaipur on 25th June, Friday at 4 PM. 


Yatindra Mishra is a celebrated Hindi Poet, Music and Cinema Scholar. He has four collections of Hindi poetry, several well received books on Indian Classical Music & Cinema and some translations. His book 'Lata : Sur-Gatha' won total of Seven Awards in 2017 including the prestigious 64th National Film Award for Best Writing on Cinema (Swarna Kamal) and MAMI Mumbai Film Festival Award for Best Writing on Cinema, Mumbai, 2016-17. His book Akhtari : Soz Aur Saaz Ka Afsana based on the Life, Times and Music of Akhtari Bai Faizabadi aka Begum Akhtar was well receieved on its initial release in Hindi. Its English translation Akhtari the Life and Music of Begum Akhtar has been published, gaining momentum and media presence in the English literary circles. He is currently working on a book on eminent Lyricist, Poet and Filmmaker Gulzar Saheb.

Prabha Khaitan Foundation presents the first Chennai edition of The Write Circle initiative that brings together authors, conversationalists and people together to focus on rejoicing literature.  


The Write Circle initiative is being held in Chennai for the first time ever featuring Amish Tripathi, the renowned Indian author in a virtual session in conversation with Vidya Gajapathi Raju Singh, wedding planner, blogger, fitness enthusiast on 28th May at 6 PM. 


Amish Tripathi who is known for his book series Shiva Trilogy and Ram Chandra Series will share his literary journey and tryst with Indian Mythology.
