சீனிவாச மூர்த்தியின் வீட்டு முகவரி: எண் 18 B, கடம்பாடி நாயக்கர் தெரு, விஜயா நகர் அருகில், இரண்டாவது தெரு, ஸ்ரீதேவி கார்டன் ரோடு, வளசரவாக்கம், சென்னை - 87. 

இவரது இறுதி ஊர்வலம் சனிக்கிழமை (ஜனவரி 28) அன்று காலை 11 மணிக்கு இல்லத்தில் இருந்து புறப்பட்டு கேசவர்த்தினி இடுகாட்டை சென்றடையும்.

The First Look of the ‘GEVI’ Movie is out now!!!

Mr. Gautham chokkalingam of Adyag Productions is producing a new film titled ‘GEVI’, directed by Tamizh Dhayalan. Mandela & Pettaikaali fame Sheela Rajkumar and Vijay TV fame Jacqueline are playing the female lead roles in this movie. Debut actor Aadhavan is playing the content-driven protagonist in this movie. ‘Madras’ fame villain actor Charles Vinoth, Dharmadurai fame Jeeva, Umar farook, Vivek Mohan acted in malayalam movie 'named way farer'. they are doing a prominent role in this movie Gevi. And many more prominent actors are a part of this star cast.

Rasi Thangadurai, who shot to fame for his versatile dialogues in the movies like Merku Thodarchi Malai and Thaen is penning dialogues for this movie.

Balasubramanian, who has been a part of AR Rahman and Anirudh’s orchestra, is composing the music, and Jagan Jayasurya is handling the cinematography for this movie. Ashwath Narayanan is taking care of editing.

In the 800-yr history of Tamil Nadu, no matter how many political changes have taken place, there is one particular place, which remains unaffected or influenced by them. This film’s story is based on real-life incidents that happened in that place.

Sharing about the film, director Tamizh Dhayalan says, “GEVI means foothill or ditch. Although mountains and hills are acclaimed for their beauty, not many know about their darker side. Tamil history has witnessed changes in political regimes across the years. However, some things remain unchanged in the mountainous regions. This film, centering on this, will address an important social issue.

When we have a close glance at the life of a common man, we can see how many political changes are taking place. I have personally experienced their pain and pathos. We have created this film with a belief that a change might happen in their lives when their issues are displayed to the public glare.

Sheela Rajkumar plays the role of a villager from the hill region, and Jacqueline also plays the major role. The film is about the challenges and odds faced by them, and how they tackle them has been presented with a gripping narration.

The film was shot in and around the exotic locales of Kodaikanal. We faced a lot of adverse climatic conditions like heavy rainfall, and extreme cold and completed our schedule amidst such challenges. In particular, actress Sheela Rajakumar suffered a lot due to the extremely cold conditions during the night time as her hands and feet got frozen. We had to carry her and walk for more than One Kilometre to give her treatment and revived her health condition. Without taking any rest, she immediately bounced back and started shooting her portions with complete cooperation.

Significantly, the film’s protagonist, actor Aadhavan worked hard with complete dedication for two years, without committing himself to any other project. He would reach the locations before the shooting schedule, adapt the mannerisms and lifestyle routine of the people in that region, and reflect them on his character.”

800 ஆண்டு கால தமிழக வரலாற்றில் எவ்வளவோ அரசியல் மாற்றங்கள் நடந்தாலும் மாறாத இடம் ஒன்று உள்ளது. அங்கு நடைபெற்ற உண்மை சம்பவங்களின் அடிப்படையில் இந்த படம் உருவாகி வருகிறது.

இந்த படம் பற்றி இயக்குநர் தமிழ் தயாளன் கூறும்போது, "கெவி என்பதற்கு அடிவாரம் அல்லது பள்ளம் என்று பொருள். மலை எப்போதுமே பார்ப்பதற்கு அழகாக இருந்தாலும் அதன் இன்னொரு இருட்டு பக்கம் யாருக்கும் தெரியாது. இத்தனை ஆண்டு கால தமிழக வரலாற்றில் எத்தனையோ ஆட்சிகள் மாறி இருக்கின்றன. எத்தனையோ விஷயங்கள் மாறி உள்ளன. ஆனால்  இந்த மலைப்பகுதியில் இன்னும் மாறாத விஷயங்கள் இப்போதும் தொடர்ந்து வருகின்றன. இதை மையப்படுத்தி இந்த படம் ஒரு முக்கிய சமூக பிரச்சனையை பேசுகிறது.

ஒரு சாமானிய மனிதனின் வாழ்க்கையை அருகில் இருந்து பார்க்கும்போது எவ்வளவோ அரசியல் மாற்றங்கள் நிகழ்ந்து கொண்டிருப்பதை கண்கூடாக பார்க்க முடிகிறது.. அவர்களுடைய வலியை அருகில் இருக்கும் என்னால் புரிந்து கொள்ள முடிகிறது. இதை சினிமா மூலமாக வெகுஜனத்தின் பார்வைக்கு கொண்டு செல்லும்போது ஏதாவது மாற்றம் நிகழ்ந்து விடாதா என்கிற நோக்கில் தான் இந்த படத்தை உருவாக்கியுள்ளோம்.

இந்த படத்தில் மலை கிராமத்து பெண்ணாக ஷீலா ராஜ்குமாரும், படத்தின் முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரத்தில் ஜாக்குலினும் நடித்துள்ளனர். இந்த இருவரும் சேர்ந்து பல பிரச்சனைகளை எதிர்கொண்டு ஒரு இக்கட்டான சூழலை எப்படி சமாளிக்கின்றனர் என்பதை விறுவிறுப்பு கலந்து கூறியுள்ளோம்.

இந்த படத்தின் படப்பிடிப்பு கொடைக்கானலை சுற்றியுள்ள பகுதிகளில் நடைபெற்றது. படப்பிடிப்பின்போது புயல், மழை, கடும் குளிர் என வெவ்வேறு சீதோஷ்ண பிரச்சனைகளையும் எதிர்கொண்டு படப்பிடிப்பை நடத்தி முடித்தோம். குறிப்பாக இரவு நேர படப்பிடிப்பின்போது குளிர் தாங்காமல் நடிகை ஷீலா ராஜ்குமார் மிகப்பெரிய அளவில் சிரமப்பட்டார். பனியில் அவரது கை கால்கள் விரைத்துக்கொண்டு விட,  ஒரு கிலோ மீட்டர் தூரத்திற்கு அவரை நடந்தே தூக்கிச் சென்று சிகிச்சை அளித்து குணப்படுத்தினோம். அதன்பிறகு மீண்டும் வந்து படப்பிடிப்பில் தொடர்ந்து நடித்து மிகப்பெரிய  ஒத்துழைப்பைக் கொடுத்தார்.

அதேபோல படத்தின் நாயகன் ஆதவன் இந்தப்படத்திற்காக இரண்டு வருடம் வேறு எந்த படங்களையும் ஒப்புக்கொள்ளாமல் கடுமையான அர்ப்பணிப்புடன் உழைத்தார். படப்பிடிப்பு நடக்கும் லொக்கேசன்களுக்கு முன்கூட்டியே சென்று அந்த பகுதி மக்களின் வாழ்வியல் நடைமுறைகளுடன் பழகி, அவற்றை தனது நடிப்பில் பிரதிபலித்துள்ளார். “ என்று கூறியுள்ளார்.

 Colors Tamil to present the World Television Premiere of the interesting hit thriller Kanithan this weekend

Colors Tamil, Viacom18’s Tamil Entertainment channel is all set to telecast the World Television Premiere of Kanithan, this Sunday, January 29th, 2023. The riveting thriller stars superstars Atharva and Catherine Tresa in the leads and the film will be aired this Sunday, January 29th 2023 at 2:00 pm.  Tune into Colors Tamil, to experience a roller coaster ride of solving puzzles and thus being a complete family treat this weekend.

Written and directed by Santhosh, Produced by kalaipuli.S. Thanu with  Sivamani's music,  the film features well-known faces of Tamil cinema namely K.Bhagyaraj, Aadukalam Naren, Manobala and Karunakaran as the supporting cast. A solid performance by the villain essayed by the tall and well-built Tarun Arora.

With an ambition to make it big in the television media, Gowtham, the protagonist essayed by actor Atharva is arrested for submitting fake documents as he gets selected for a job in BBC. Gowtham, who works for a small time TV Channel hits a roadblock, when he suddenly comes to know that his educational certificates turn out to be fake leading to solving a series of some dirty puzzles which actually discovers a mysterious route of unethical practices propagated and controlled by a set of  malicious network of individuals. How the protagonist goes on to give a checkmate to his villain forms the crux of the story with a parallel love track of his ladylove. 

Commenting on the occasion, Director TN Santhosh said, “We had a good reception from the audience when the movie was released and I believe exposing such dark truths by adding engaging elements in the screenplay was a challenge. I am sure that the viewers will love the cat-and-mouse chase leading to some interesting clues, thus keeping the audience engrossed till the end. Performances by the lead cast along with senior performers like the legendary Bhagyaraj sir and Aadukulam Naren will definitely entertain all the viewers of Colors Tamil”.

தோனி என்டர்டெய்ன்மெண்ட்ஸின் வணிகப்பிரிவின் தலைவர் விகாஸ் ஹசிஜா பேசுகையில்,“ நாட்டின் ஒவ்வொரு மூலை முடுக்கிலும் உள்ள ரசிகர்களிடம் அர்த்தமுள்ள கதைகள் எடுத்துச் செல்வதே தோனி என்டர்டெய்ன்மெண்ட்ஸின் நோக்கம். அந்த எண்ணத்துடன் தான் இந்த படம் தொடங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. தோனி என்டர்டெய்ன்மெண்ட்ஸ் நல்லக் கதைகளையும், திரைக்கதைகளையும் தேடிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறது. மேலும் பல திரைப்படங்களை தமிழில் தயாரிக்கவிருக்கிறோம்  இந்த படத்தின் பணிகள் தொடங்குவதன் மூலம் நீண்ட மற்றும் பயனுள்ள ஆட்டத்தைத் தொடங்கியிருக்கிறோம். தமிழ் திரையுலகில் நல்லதொரு மாற்றத்தை உருவாக்கவும் விரும்புகிறோம்.” என்றார். 

தோனி என்டர்டெய்ன்மெண்ட்ஸின் படைப்புத் திறன் பிரிவின் தலைவர் பிரியன்ஷு சோப்ரா பேசுகையில்,“ எல் ஜி எம் படத்தின் பணிகள் தொடங்கப்படும் தருணத்தில், படக்குழுவினருடன் உடனிருப்பதில் மகிழ்ச்சியாகவும், பரவசமாகவும் இருக்கிறேன். திருமதி சாக்ஷி சிங் தோனியின் கருத்தாக்கத்தை, இயக்குநர் ரமேஷ் தமிழ்மணி நல்லதொரு பொழுதுபோக்கு அம்சங்கள் கொண்ட திரைக்கதையாக மாற்றிய மாயஜால வித்தையை நேரடியாக கண்டதால், படத்தைக் காண பேரவலுடன் காத்திருக்கிறேன்.” என்றார்.

 *Work on Dhoni Entertainment's first film 'L.G.M' begins with puja!*

The shooting of 'L.G.M', which is being produced by Sakshi and Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s production house Dhoni Entertainment, began here today with a grand puja ceremony that was attended by  a host of celebrities along with Sakshi. 

'Lets Get Married” which is being directed by debut director Ramesh Thamilmani and which was conceptualized by Sakshi herself, features actors Harish Kalyan, Nadiya and Ivana in the lead and also features well known comedian Yogi Babu. 

Director Ramesh Thamilmani himself is scoring the music for the film, which has cinematography by Vishwajith. 

The film, which will mark Dhoni Entertainment's foray into mainstream film production, is touted to be a family entertainer. 

Dhoni Entertainment chose to commence its first film production with a Tamil family entertainer, reinforcing the immense love “Thala” has received over the years from the people of Tamil Nadu.

Sakshi Dhoni, the brain behind the concept of the film's script, expressed delight at the film getting launched. "We look forward to being here and doing more such meaningful stories," she said.   

Speaking about his film, director Ramesh Thamilmani, who has also penned the script for the film, said, " We are excited to start this fascinating journey today. I assure you that this fun-filled film will be one that the entire family can enjoy.”

On the occasion, Dhoni Entertainment Business Head Vikas Hasija said, “Dhoni Entertainment's aim is to reach Indian audiences in every nook and corner of the country through meaningful stories and this film is in line with that thought. Dhoni Entertainment is looking for good scripts and we intend to do several more films in Tamil. Today's beginning, we believe, will mark Dhoni Entertainment's long and fruitful innings in Tamil cinema, where we intend to make a difference.”
