Atharvaa Murali-Anupama Parameswaran starrer wraps up the first schedule

The ravishing combination of handsome Atharvaa Murali and elegantly beauteous Anupama Parameswaran sharing the screen space for a Rom-Com has instilled voracious expectations among the audiences, especially across the leagues of youths. In particular, with the film being helmed by the most celebrated Kannan, who has already proved his expertise in churning out lovable romantic entertainers like Jayam Kondan and Kanden Kadhalai, it has become an additional adornment. Now the team has completed the first schedule of shooting in a short span of time. What’s more surprising is that 50% of the film’s major portions are wrapped up in this leg of shooting.

Director Kannan says, “We are happy to announce that 50% of the shoot is already over in this 20-day schedule, which completely happened in Chennai. We erected a set work of house in Neelankarai, which will be one of the major backdrops in the film. We also canned an action sequence choreographed by Stunt Silva sir across the crowded lanes of Pudhupettai for 4 days, which has come out really well.”

Getting to speak about the artistes in the film, director Kannan adds, “Atharvaa is known as director’s actor, but what I saw in him during this shoot was his upgraded version. This film completely differs in genre and treatment from his previous movies and so happens to be his role. After watching the rushes, I felt the fulfillment of the character he plays and that’s because of his outstanding performance. Anupama Parameswaran will be spotted in a never-seen-before avatar, which will be close alike Trisha in 96. Aadukalam Naren sir plays the role of Anupama’s father and his acting is so natural. In fact, his role has lots to add on the humorous and emotional quotients in the film and he has been doing complete justice to it. It’s same with Kaali Venkat, Jagan and Vidyullekha Raman, who are essaying important roles.” 
 The director adds that shooting a particular scene in a college located at Kanchipuram amidst 500 students was challenging and has come out well. The second leg of the shoot, which will be a 20-day schedule will commence in Russia from the first week of September.

Shanmugha Sundaram, whose magical visuals in ‘96’ were highly acclaimed, is handling cinematography for this film with Kabilan Vairamuthu penning the dialogues. RK Selva (Editor), Rajkumar (Art), Satish (Choreographer), Kavitha J (Costume Designer), Raja Sridhar (Production Executive) are the others in the technical crew.
 

Apart penning screenplay and directing the film, R Kannan is producing this film for Masala Pix in association with MKRP Productions, which is scheduled for worldwide release in December 2019.

Actor Atharvaa Untitled project Started

The new untitled movie starring Atharvaa Murali and Anupama Parameswaran   commenced today in Chennai.The team has planned for continuous shoot without break for 15 days in Chennai and the major portions will be  shot in abroad.

 "Atharvaa and Anupama Parameshwaran will be paired for the first time and this pair will infuse lot of freshness to the screen said the Director. They both will surely floor the audience with their expression and cuteness.Romantic films always has got special audience and iam confident that this untitled film slated for a release on the last leg of this year will be enjoyed by all , especially the families" concluded the director Kannan with confidence 

Eminent personalities from the Producers council and Directors union were present to wish the team.

50 நாட்களை கடந்து வெற்றிகரமாக ஓடிக்கொண்டிருக்கும் அதர்வா முரளியின் '100'

ஒரு சில படங்கள் மொத்த குழுவுக்கும் தற்செயலாக ‘முதன்முறையாக' நிகழ்கின்றன. இறுதியில் அது மிகப்பெரிய வெற்றியைப் பெறுகிறது. அதர்வா முரளி நடித்த “100” திரைப்படம் இதற்கு போதுமான ஒரு சான்றாக உள்ளது. ஏனெனில் இந்த படம் குழுவில் உள்ள பலருக்கும் முதல்முறை என்ற குறிப்புடன் அமைந்தது. நகைச்சுவை திரைப்படங்களை இயக்குவதில் மிகவும் பிரபலமான இயக்குனர் சாம் ஆண்டன் இந்த படத்தின் மூலம் 'திரில்லர்' படங்களையும் தன்னால் மிகச்சிறப்பாக கொடுக்க முடியும் என தன் முழுத்திறமைகளையும் மிகச்சிறப்பாக வெளிப்படுத்தினார். மறுபுறம், மிகவும் அழகான அதர்வா முரளியை இதுவரை பார்த்திராத போலீஸ் கதாபாத்திரத்தில் காட்சிப்படுத்தியது. தற்போது இத்திரைப்படம் வெற்றிகரமாக 50 நாட்கள் என்ற முக்கியமான ஒரு அடையாளத்தை கடந்துள்ளது.

ஒரு நடிகரின் ரசிகர் வட்டமானது இரண்டு காரணங்களுக்காக அதிகரிக்கும். ஒன்று கவர்ந்திழுக்கும் தோற்றம், மற்றொன்று நல்ல கதையுள்ள படங்களை தேர்ந்தெடுத்து நடிப்பது. அதர்வா முரளியின் முந்தைய படங்களை கவனித்தால் இது தெளிவாக விளங்கும். மார்ச் 8ஆம் தேதி வெளியாகும் அவரின் 'பூமராங்' படமும் ஏற்கனவே ரசிகர்களை ஒரு புதுவித அனுபவத்துக்கு தயார் செய்துள்ளது.

எப்போதும் போல், அதர்வா படத்துக்காக தான் பட்ட கஷ்டங்களை, கடும் முயற்சிகளை பற்றி பெரிதாக பேசாமல், இயக்குனர் கண்ணனை புகழ்ந்து பேசுகிறார். "கண்ணன் சார் அவருடைய கலைத்திறமையை தாண்டி, அரிதான பல தனிப்பட்ட திறமைகளை கொண்டிருக்கிறார். யாரும் அவ்வளவாக பேசாத சமூக பிரச்சினைகள் பற்றி படங்களில்  பேசுவது அதில் ஒன்று. நாம் பல ஆண்டுகளாக சமூக வணிக ரீதியான பொழுதுபோக்கு அம்சங்களை கொண்ட, சமகாலத்திய பிரச்சினைகளை பேசும் பல படங்களை பார்த்திருக்கிறோம். எனினும், அவர் எனக்கு சொன்ன 'பூமராங்' ஸ்கிரிப்ட்டை முற்றிலுமாக புதிதாக உணர்ந்தேன். நாம் ஏற்கனவே சொன்னபடி, இது இந்தியாவில் உள்ள நதிகளை இணைப்பது என்ற விவாதத்திற்குரிய ஒரு விஷயத்தை பற்றி பேசும் படம். பூமராங் காதல், காமெடி, எமோஷன் மற்றும் பொழுதுபோக்கு ஆகிய அம்சங்களை கொண்ட ஒரு முழுமையான பொழுதுபோக்கு படம் என்று தான் சொல்லுவேன். மேலும், கண்ணன் சார், ஸ்கிரிப்ட்டில் சில ஆச்சரியமான விஷயங்களை வைத்திருக்கிறார், அது எனக்கு மிகவும் புதியதாகவும்  இருந்தது" என்றார் அதர்வா முரளி.

உடன் நடித்த நடிகர்கள் பற்றி அதர்வா கூறும்போது, "நான் எப்போதும் நல்ல படங்களில் ஒரு பகுதியாக இருப்பதை நம்புகிறேன். ஒரு படம் மிகச் சரியானதாக இருக்க ஒவ்வொரு நடிகருக்கும் கதாபாத்திரத்துக்கு ஏற்ற வகையில் முக்கியத்துவம் இருக்க வேண்டும். இந்த விதத்தில், கண்ணன் சார், கதாபாத்திரங்களை வடிவமைப்பதில் மிகச்சிறந்த வேலையை செய்திருக்கிறார். ஆர்.ஜே.பாலாஜி, உபென் படேல், மேகா ஆகாஷ், இந்துஜா உட்பட அனைவரது கதாபாத்திரத்திற்கும் உண்டான நியாயத்தை செய்திருக்கிறார் கண்ணன் சார்.

தொழில்நுட்ப குழுவை பற்றி கூறும்போது, "ரதனின் பாடல்கள் ஒரு தனித்துவமான உணர்வை உருவாக்கியுள்ளன. ஒரு படத்திலிருந்து மற்றொரு படத்திற்கு வலுவான மற்றும் சிறந்த பின்னணி இசையை வழங்கி தன்னை மேம்படுத்தி வருகிறார். ஒளிப்பதிவாளர் பிரசன்னா குமாரின் வண்ணங்கள் மற்றும் கலர் டோன் மிகவும் புதுமையாக இருக்கிறது. அவருடைய கேமரா, பச்சோந்தி போல சூழ்நிலையைப் பொறுத்து அதன் நிறத்தை மாற்றிக் கொண்டே இருக்கிறது  என்று நகைச்சுவையாக அவரது வேலையை பற்றி குறிப்பிடுவது உண்டு" என்றார்.

Boomerang Movie Tit Bits

The Atharvaa Murali-Megha Akash-Induja starrer “Boomerang” team has its Interaction with Press and Media, where they shared some of the most important facts and experiences of working as a team. He event commenced with the screening of trailer and couple of songs. Produced by Director Kannan for Masala Pix, Boomerang is scheduled for worldwide release on March 8

RJ Balaji said, “The origin of LKG happened on the sets of Boomerang. My friendship with Atharvaa Murali got very much acquainted through this project. He was the first one to encourage me on LKG as he suggested me selflessly to write my story for LKG. Now I am curiously waiting to complete my other script and direct him. I don’t know whether it will be happening anytime sooner, but I  am sure this will be a reality. My friendship with Kannan sir started from the time of Settai, which was actually a clash and then we got more friendly as he got me onboard for Ivan Thanthiran. My role in this film too is substantial and it’s going to be good as a film as well. This is a socially relevant movie as Kannan sir touched a much realistic story, which revolves around connecting all rivers across our country. It was really a great experience working with two Tamil speaking heroines - Megha Akash and Induja who are really talented.”

Cinematographer Selva said, “Since I have already worked with Kannan sir in Ivan Thanthiran, it was really nice working with him. I am thankful to him for bringing onboard for this film. Every actor has done excellent justice to their roles.”

Music Director Redhan said, “Soon after the release of Arjun Reddy, I got a call from Kannan sir appreciating my work and when I met him, I was completely surprised to see him offer me to compose for Boomerang. I am sure, much alike LKG, Boomerang will be definitely regraded as a good social awareness film. When composing BGM, I was totally spellbound over the screen presence and performance of Atharvaa Murali.”

Actress Induja said, “Although reluctant at first, I got so much fascinated by the basic plot and by the completion, I was totally happy. Everyone on the sets kept me so much comfortable. Kannan sir gave me complete freedom to act in own style. I became a fan of Redhan from his musical score of Arjun Reddy and he has done a fabulous job for this film.”

Atharvaa Murali said, “We as a team are completely in awe as it was completed in a much quick span though there were lots of drama was shot. Many have been asking me the reason behind titling the movie as BOOMERANG. The premise is simple and it’s all about Karma. Many here for having terming this film as agricultural one, but there are lots of ingredients included. I got to know about lots of things like face transplantation. Our industry lacks lots of Tamil speaking heroines and am sure Induja and Megha Akash are really talented. I am sure audiences will thoroughly enjoy the film.”

Filmmaker Kannan played a perfect host, where he kept bringing in some interesting information about the film. He tendered his vote of thanks to all for the completion of film on time including financiers Pankaj Mehta, Anbu, Ram Prasad and his father Murugesan. I am thankful to Trident Arts Ravindran for setting us the theatres for

Release. He credited all the thanks to the entire technical team for being the pillar of this film. Kannan never missed anyone including his co-directors and assistants for being a great support.
