Actor Atharvaa Untitled project Started

The new untitled movie starring Atharvaa Murali and Anupama Parameswaran   commenced today in Chennai.The team has planned for continuous shoot without break for 15 days in Chennai and the major portions will be  shot in abroad.

 "Atharvaa and Anupama Parameshwaran will be paired for the first time and this pair will infuse lot of freshness to the screen said the Director. They both will surely floor the audience with their expression and cuteness.Romantic films always has got special audience and iam confident that this untitled film slated for a release on the last leg of this year will be enjoyed by all , especially the families" concluded the director Kannan with confidence 

Eminent personalities from the Producers council and Directors union were present to wish the team. 

Written and Directed by R Kannan, this romantic freezer is strengthened by  Kabilan Vairamuthu penning the  dialogues is produced by Masala Pix in association with  MKRP Productions.

Director Kannan’s directorial journey has been comprised of diversified genres and has never missed to score the best on public glare. Especially, his craftsmanship in amalgamating beautiful love stories with family relationships were much illustrious with films like Jayam Kondan and Kanden Kadhalai. While his recent outings have been completely based on serious and complex themed backdrops, the director takes a break on such paradigms returning back to his refreshing zone of  beautiful love story laced with family elements. “Yes, majorly I felt that audiences are relentlessly supplied with tales with serious complexities and that includes my films as well. I wanted to deviate from this zone and experiment with a love story. I believe it would be same for Atharvaa Murali as well. Having been acclaimed as the handsome actor, his roles have been more inclined to uniquely challenging roles including our previous collaboration in ‘Boomerang’. However,  this will be depicting him in a youthful role. He will be seen as a PhD scholar.”

Getting on with the female lead played by Anupama Parameswaran, Kannan says, “She will be essaying the role of a medical student, who is fascinated towards Bharathanatyam. We actually wanted someone, who could be more expressive, especially with eyes. More than all, imagining both Atharvaa and Anupama together in a frame was itself delineating cuteness. The film will have family elements too laced with fun and emotions.”

The shooting of this film will be commencing from July 15 in Chennai and a schedule has been planned to be filmed across the exotic locales of a foreign land. Capturing our hearts with visual poignancy in ‘96’, Shanmugha Sundaram will be handling cinematography for this movie. With Kabilan Vairamuthu penning dialogues, talks are going on with leading artistes-technicians and the affirmation will be made shortly on this from the production house. Written and helmed by R Kannan, he is producing this film for Masala Pix in association with  MKRP Productions.

Following the grand success of blockbuster hit Dhillukku Dhuddu 2, Santhanam’s career graph is elevated tremendously. He is now teaming up with director R.Kannan for a new film. Produced  by R. Kannan for Masala Pix in association with MK Ram Prasad for MKRP Productions, the film will be a wholesome entertainer laced with fun and action. Talks are going with leading actors and technicians to be part of this film and a top league actress will be playing the female lead. The shooting of this film will start from July and will hit screens in December 2019. Apart from writing  and directing  the film, R Kannan is producing the film for Masala Pi

Boomerang Movie Tit Bits

The Atharvaa Murali-Megha Akash-Induja starrer “Boomerang” team has its Interaction with Press and Media, where they shared some of the most important facts and experiences of working as a team. He event commenced with the screening of trailer and couple of songs. Produced by Director Kannan for Masala Pix, Boomerang is scheduled for worldwide release on March 8

RJ Balaji said, “The origin of LKG happened on the sets of Boomerang. My friendship with Atharvaa Murali got very much acquainted through this project. He was the first one to encourage me on LKG as he suggested me selflessly to write my story for LKG. Now I am curiously waiting to complete my other script and direct him. I don’t know whether it will be happening anytime sooner, but I  am sure this will be a reality. My friendship with Kannan sir started from the time of Settai, which was actually a clash and then we got more friendly as he got me onboard for Ivan Thanthiran. My role in this film too is substantial and it’s going to be good as a film as well. This is a socially relevant movie as Kannan sir touched a much realistic story, which revolves around connecting all rivers across our country. It was really a great experience working with two Tamil speaking heroines - Megha Akash and Induja who are really talented.”

Cinematographer Selva said, “Since I have already worked with Kannan sir in Ivan Thanthiran, it was really nice working with him. I am thankful to him for bringing onboard for this film. Every actor has done excellent justice to their roles.”

Music Director Redhan said, “Soon after the release of Arjun Reddy, I got a call from Kannan sir appreciating my work and when I met him, I was completely surprised to see him offer me to compose for Boomerang. I am sure, much alike LKG, Boomerang will be definitely regraded as a good social awareness film. When composing BGM, I was totally spellbound over the screen presence and performance of Atharvaa Murali.”

Actress Induja said, “Although reluctant at first, I got so much fascinated by the basic plot and by the completion, I was totally happy. Everyone on the sets kept me so much comfortable. Kannan sir gave me complete freedom to act in own style. I became a fan of Redhan from his musical score of Arjun Reddy and he has done a fabulous job for this film.”

Atharvaa Murali said, “We as a team are completely in awe as it was completed in a much quick span though there were lots of drama was shot. Many have been asking me the reason behind titling the movie as BOOMERANG. The premise is simple and it’s all about Karma. Many here for having terming this film as agricultural one, but there are lots of ingredients included. I got to know about lots of things like face transplantation. Our industry lacks lots of Tamil speaking heroines and am sure Induja and Megha Akash are really talented. I am sure audiences will thoroughly enjoy the film.”

Filmmaker Kannan played a perfect host, where he kept bringing in some interesting information about the film. He tendered his vote of thanks to all for the completion of film on time including financiers Pankaj Mehta, Anbu, Ram Prasad and his father Murugesan. WITH WORLDWIDE RELEASE FROM DECEMBER 28 

Filmmaker Kannan and his entire team of ‘Boomerang’ have landed upon seventh heaven for a reason. The official confirmation pertaining to the worldwide release of their ambitious film on December 28 has kept them in gleeful mode. 

Feeling sublime invigoration over the release, director Kannan shares this joyful news saying, “We as an entire team of ‘Boomerang’ are so happy about getting our release date confirmed for December 28. It’s been a year of challenges for everyone in the team, especially for Atharvaa Murali, who took scrupulous efforts for three different looks in this movie. As a filmmaker and producer, I am so delighted that the entire team has stood beside me in shaping the project efficiently. I am sure; our unceasing hard work will be paid off well as New Year gift. Megha Akash and Indhuja will eventually have their stature escalated for their earnest work in this film.” 

He continues to shower his praises on others in the star-cast citing, “Upen Patel  didn’t want to compromise over giving the best shots. Although, he would be having someone to dub, he was keen on learning the Tamil dialogues and gave his flawless rendition during the shoot. Suhasini Maniratnam madam will appear in a significant character, which will add more substantiality to the tale. Both Satish and RJ Balaji will have equal prominence in not merely tickling our funny bones, but groovy roles too.” 

Boomerang features musical score by Radan, who had his glorious fame accomplished through magnum opus ‘Arjun Reddy’…. The visual treat by Prasanna Kumar involving his cinematographic composing of colours and grades will definitely offer a fresh experience for the audiences.  Filmmaker Kannan is producing Boomerang for his production home studio of Masala Pix.
