Prominent news portals are running a news item claiming that Radhe Maa is the highest paid contestant on Bigg Boss. What are you promoting in the bargain, asks Poonam, saying there are so many young, talented entertainers in India. Please stop taking us back to the stone age. As soon as news that controversial Godwoman Radhe Maa was going to be one of the contestants of the Bigg Boss show, began doing the rounds on social media, with Colors officially sharing a promo showing Radhe Maa in the Season 14 house, Goan actress and model Poonam Karekar Govekar phoned us to give us the news.

According to Poonam, she said her sources have told her that Radhe Maa has paid a huge sum of money to the makers of the show to get into the Bigg Boss house. So we asked Poonam what could be the amount. Poonam claims that in her rough estimates, Radhe Maa and her supporters could have possibly paid Colors a sum of Rs One Crore or even more to get selected as a contestant or participant of Bigg Boss.

 

 Bigg Boss is a very coveted show. Everyone wants to be part of it, because of the fantastic host Salman Khan and his inimitable style. Radhe Maa and her core group know that entering the show will up her brand image and give her millions of more fans. In the video, Radhe Maa is seen going around the house. She is even heard saying that may the season become successful.

According to reports, Radhe Maa will most likely arrive on the show to bless the house and the contestants. However, given that it’s an unpredictable show, she might also be seen as a contestant. A confirmation should be forthcoming in a few days as more details get leaked.

Radhe Maa is a spiritual leader and self-styled god woman. While she is finally gracing the reality show this season, her participation has been speculated earlier too. Bigg Boss has previously seen spiritual leaders Swami Om and Sshivani Durga as contestants.

Bigg Boss 14 will once again be an all-celebrity season. While host Salman Khan already revealed Jaan Kumar Sanu as a contestant, Rubina Dilaik, Abhinav Shukla, Jasmin Bhasin, Nikki Tamboli, Rahul Vaidya, Shehzad Deol, Eijaz Khan, Sara Gurpal, Nishant Singh Malkani and Pavitra Punia are also said to be participating in the show.

Radhe Maa has had several controversies linked with her in the past. There was a court case filed against her by a social worker and advocate in Mumbai and then the authorities were also investigating her source of income and the IT authorities were after her for various unaccounted assets including a huge bungalow in Borivli in suburban Mumbai as well as a fleet of imported cars.

The death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput seems quite surreal even though it has been over a month since he left us. His passing away not only ignited shocked reactions from the industry and his admirers but also revived the age-old debate on the topic of nepotism in the film industry.

There were unwarranted outcries by a few industry insiders which sparked the malicious behavior of some people in the society. Several people were named in this vicious circle of blame-game.

The police continue to investigate the reasons behind Sushant taking this fatal step and, in the process, they have brought in some close friends of the actor, his peers as well as filmmakers including Sanjay Leela Bhansali and girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty. Celebrities are faced with the vicious messages of a select few people who think they have the right to write these things. And it is not only about the messages anymore. The trollers have now sunk lower than before by adding physical assault threats to this.

In the wake of the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, people have fueled the nepotism debate and given it a whole new spin. Due to this, personalities like Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Salman Khan, Sonam Kapoor and others have been the target of a lot of hatred online.

Recently, we saw Alia Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt take to their social media platforms to call out trollers who had sent hurtful messages to the latter, abusing the entire Bhatt family. Another similar situation was faced by actor Rhea Chakraborty who was called names and subjected to abuses which she brought to light via her social platform.

We have also come to know that Karan Johar, who is facing most of the unwarranted flak, is working on giving a befitting answer to those who have resorted to these tricks. The filmmaker has been consulting his lawyers to make sure that they take the right step against the trolls that are threatening him and his family members.

A source close to Karan Johar says, “Karan is actively pursuing legal action. A team of lawyers, as well as online tech experts, have come together to see this through. The tech people in the team are tracking the social media handles that are trying to intimidate him through violence. They want to unearth these accounts, fake and real and submit the evidence to the relevant authorities. The comments got out of hand when people started to threaten physical harm and abuse to his children and gave rape threats against his mother.”

Several other celebrities have filed FIRs on similar subjects when they were the victim of such heinous cyber-bullying. The police have taken these complaints very seriously and are investigating the situation thoroughly.

If anyone is caught abusing or writing violent messages online would be liable to pay lakhs of rupees as fine along with the hefty imprisonment that comes with it under Section 67 of the IT Act and Section 507 IPC of the Indian legislation.

It would be smart for the online trollers to understand the gravity of their crime and beware of sending threats to others while hiding behind the anonymity of their profiles. The consequences for such acts will soon catch up to them.

It was just a few weeks ago that ace fashion and film photographer Sharat Chandra clicked these regal-looking pictures of Romanian television presenter and singer Iulia Vantur, who is rumoured to be Bollywood megastar Salman Khan's girlfriend.

Just after this shoot, she headed to Nykka Femina Beauty Awards 2020, where she was seen sparkling in this red outfit. "Iulia is an ethereal beauty and it was a pleasure to click her," says Sharat. "The best thing about her is that she has an easy-going and radiant personality," he adds.

Dressed in a bright red dress made by the magnificent new-age designer Surya Sarkar, Iulia carries herself with utmost elegance in the shoot, which also makes us wonder, why she is not seen more often on the ramp or in the movies.

Must say, the best part about this girl is that she is a very optimistic person. The young actor gifted Salman a specially designed jacket similar to the iconic jacket from Maine Pyaar Kiya. While celebrating the star's birthday, Abhimanyu especially got this jacket as this particular date ie 29th December also marks 30 years of Maine Pyaar Kiya.

Reminiscing old memories, Salman was very happy to receive the thoughtful gift, he even had a great conversation with Abhimanyu about the film. Later, Salman was seen wearing the jacket for most of the evening at the party.
