ICICI Home Finance launches SARAL affordable housing loan
Special home loan rate for Women, Lower and Middle Income Groups

ICICI Home Finance (ICICI HFC) has launched SARAL – an Affordable Housing Loan, aimed to fund homes in urban and rural areas. Developed for women, lower, middle income customers and economically weaker sections having maximum household income up to INR 6 lakhs annually. The SARAL affordable housing loan is available at an interest rate starting from 7.98% onwards, for a maximum tenure of 20 years. Customers with pre-existing loans can also transfer their loans to ICICI Home Finance’s SARAL affordable housing loan.

In a bid to encourage more women homeowners, ICICI HFC’s SARAL loan requires a mandatory woman ownership in rural areas of the country for a household income of Rs 3 lakhs to Rs 6 lakhs. Interested customers can walk into any branch with their KYC documents, proof of income and property documents or login to www.icicihfc.com and start the process. SARAL loan applicants can also avail of an interest subsidy up to Rs. 2.67 lakhs per house, under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) scheme till March 31, 2021.

ICICI Home Finance has been taking proactive measures across 137 branches that have opened up across zones. This includes temperature screening of all visitors and employees before entering the branch, cleaning of common office spaces regularly, and placing of hand sanitizers at various locations, and having employees to use masks at all times. branches, including 15 zonal offices in the country

ICICI Home Finance has unveiled its Gold Loan scheme, packed with unique benefits such as instant disbursement via NEFT and RTGS making transaction safe and secure. Additional features of the ICICI Home Finance Gold Loan include bullet repayments that will help cut down the burden of an EMI, as well as a fixed interest rate throughout the loan tenure, and a foreclosure payment option, for those fraught with economic hardships during this Covid-19 pandemic. The ICICI Home Finance Gold Loan scheme interest rate ranges from 12% to 21% per annum, and the loan amount starts from Rs. 10,000 upto Rs.10 lakhs.

Each ICICI Home Finance branch has its own gold valuer, who can evaluate the value of gold in the customer’s presence. The application process requires the submission of KYC documents such as Proof of Identity and Proof of Address, PAN/Form 60, customer’s photograph and a blank cancelled cheque. Each branch’s sales team can review the application and disburse the loan on the spot.

Speaking about the Gold Loan scheme, Mr. Anirudh Kamani, CEO, ICICI Home Finance, said, “Our Gold Loan scheme has been developed to offer quick monetary assistance to those salaried and self-employed individuals running their businesses and families. Our Gold loans scheme ensures direct cash transfer in a secure way which can be used for payments related to Covid-19 medical care, school fees.
