Director Sanjay Bharathi on Dhanusu Raasi Neyargalae

Garnering good reception for the first look and first single track, Dhanusu Raasi Neyargalae starring Harish Kalyan, Reba Monica John and Digangana Suryavanshi in lead roles has the teaser unveiled this evening.

Director Sanjay Bharathi said, “The characterization of hero Arjun was crafted based on the traits of people having Dhanusu Raasi. The protagonist happens to be very much focused with his dreams and wants to achieve at any cost and so happens to be heroine with her own ideologies. There are few more characters in the film that has unique qualities. I can assure that the film will be a wholesome family entertainer with fun and romance. The reason behind naming the heroine’s role as KR Vijaya was just to avoid the stereotypical names. The first half of this film will be in my style and second half has influences of my father Santhana Bharathi. Harish Kalyan will be seen playing the role of boy to next door. During my childhood days, I would admire Navarasa Nayagan Karthik sir as a cute chocolate boy as in ‘Varusham 16’. I wanted to project Harish Kalyan in similar shade. There are 5 songs in the album based on different musical genres composed by Ghibran.”

Furthermore, Sanjay Bharathi gives an insight of the film’s premise saying, “The film is about a guy, who is Dhanusu Raasi and he wants to get married as soon as possible. He proposes to various girls and finally gets to come across a girl named KR Vijaya with a matching star sign. What happens between them forms the crux of this story.”

Produced by Gokulam Movies of Sree Gokulam Gopalan, he film has Harish Kalyan, Reba Monica John and Digangana Suryavanshi in lead roles. Munishkanth, Yogi Babu, Pandiarajan, Charlie, Renuka, Mayilsamy, Sangili Murugan, Daniel Annie Pope, TSK, Kumki Ashwin, Haritha, Samyuktha and other familiar faces are a part of this star-cast.

PK Varma is handling cinematography for this film, which as editing by Kubendran. Umesh J Kumar (Art), Viveka-Madhan Karky-Vignesh Shivan-Ku. Karthik-Chandru (Lyrics), M.R. Pon Parthiban (Dialogues), T. Udhaya Kumar (Audiography), Kalyan-Sheriff (Choreography), G. Anusha Meenakshi (Costumes) and  V. Manikandan (Executive Producer) are the others in the technical crew.

Dhanusu Raasi Neyargalae Tit Bits

Grandeur has its prevalence all over the sets of Harish Kalyan starrer Dhanusu Raasi Neyargale now. The film has absolutely whelmed us with good anticipations for its creative title and of course, the presence of young and handsome Harish Kalyan. With the team having done a perfect pre-planning, the shoot that commenced on April 22 is going on full swing.  Right now, the team is shooting a grand song that is based on the film’s theme.

Director Sanjay Bharathi says, “As the title ‘Dhanusu Raasi Neyargale’ signifies, we wanted to feature a song based on stars and horoscopes. The hero of this film is someone, who ardently believes in horoscopes and always desires to make decisions in life based on it. So, we felt that a song related to this concept would be appropriate to enhance the character and drama. We decided to have set works based on this theme and art director Umesh accordingly erected luxurious backdrops that have lots of innovative appeal. It’s so much exciting for me as a debut filmmaker to have eminent personalities like Ghibran sir on music and choreographer Kalyan master working together. Of course, Harish Kalyan is a fabulous dancer and he’s giving the finest touch with his presence along with 50 dancers. The song is turning up really beautiful than we imagined. More than being self satisfied, I am happy that Sree Gokulam Gopalan sir being so much supportive and giving us complete freedom on creative side and production.”

Rhea Chakraborthy and Reba Monica John will be seen playing the lead roles in this film, which will be an out and out entertainer. The film’s launch itself garnered a huge attention for the presence of many celebrities. With Harish Kalyan already proving to be a ‘Romantic’ hero in Pyaar Prema Kadhal and a tough intense character in ‘Ispade Rajavum Idhaya Raniyum’, he will be appearing in a much contrastive role in this movie, produced by Sree Gokulam Gopalan of Sree Gokulam Movies

Harish Kalyan’s new film titled Dhanusu Rasi Neyargalae

Star signs remain as an inseparable factor in every individual’s life. Be it a belief or merely a fun, everyone wants to know how special the days, weeks or the years are going to be for them through astrology. In specification, amongst all the star signs that we come across in Tamil, ‘Dhanusu Rasi’ has something unique and instantly attracts everyone. Based on such familiarity, here comes a film titled ‘Dhanusu Rasi Neyargalae’ that features Harish Kalyan in lead role, directed by Sanjay Bharathi.

Elaborating about the significance of title and the film’s premise, director Sanjay Bharathi says, “It’s true that everyone among us would have a desire to foresee how their days are going to be based on their star signs. They either flip through the newspapers or switch on TVs by morning out of curiosity. Be it a believer or atheist, they strongly have a belief or just try it out for fun.  The reason behind titling the film as ‘Dhanusu Rasi Neyargalae’ is because it pulls in more attention when compared to other star signs. In addition, the protagonist in our film, played by Harish Kalyan belongs to this particular star sign.

The pictorial representation of this star has a man with bow and arrow, which signifies the ambitious drive. Similarly, the hero in our film has an aim to strike and what happens in his life is unfolded through the series of events. More than having Harish Kalyan onboard for our film, I am so much happy to see him choose scripts based on diversified themes. While his previous films based on light-hearted Rom-Com and intense love story has carved him a niche, he could have easily attempted to encash with similar strokes, but chose this one as he wanted to give a try on different genres. Ghibran sir will be composing music for our film and rest of our cast and crew will be announced shortly. There are two heroines in this film and we are in the process of finalising them shortly . I am thankful to producer Sree Gokulam Gopalan sir of Sree Gokulam Movies for strongly believing in my script and helping to materialize it.
