 இந்த மாநில அளவிலான மாரத்தான் போட்டியை  சென்னை கோஸ்டல் ரோட்டரி கிளப் தலைவர் மஞ்சித் சிங்,ஸ்போர்ட்ஸ்ப்ரோ இயக்குனர் சபரி நாயர்,  ஜிஆர் சோனாலி ஜெயின் உள்ளிட்டோர் இந்த மாரத்தான்  போட்டியை ஏற்பாடு செய்துள்ளனர் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது

 இந்த மாரத்தான் போட்டியின்  நோக்கமாக மாநிலத்தில் பெண்கள் மற்றும் குழந்தைகள் பாதுகாப்பின் முக்கியத்துவம் குறித்த விழிப்புணர்வை  ஏற்படுத்துவதை நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டுள்ளது.மேலும் உதவி செயலி மற்றும் ரோட்டரி கிளப் ஆப் சென்னை கோஸ்டல் ஆகியவை  பெண்கள் மற்றும் குழந்தைகள் பாதுகாப்பின் முக்கியத்துவம் பற்றிய செய்தியை பரப்புவதற்காக மாரத்தான் அமைப்புடன்  இணைந்துள்ளன.

 இந்த மாரத்தான் போட்டியின் மூலம் நிதி, உள்கட்டமைப்பு, சத்தான உணவுகள்,  பெண்கள் மற்றும் குழந்தைகளுக்கு தேவையான உடைகள் என அனைவருக்குமான ஆதரவு அமைப்பை உருவாக்கும் நோக்கத்தோடு செயல்பட உள்ளனர்.

 இந்த மாரத்தான் போட்டியின்  போது இந்தியா மற்றும் வெளிநாடுகளைச் சேர்ந்த ஓவியங்கள் மற்றும் விளையாட்டு வீரர்கள் தங்கள் அனுபவத்தை பகிர்ந்து கொள்ள இருக்கிறார்கள்.

 தமிழ்நாடு மாரத்தான் 2022 என்கிற மாநில அளவிலான மாரத்தான் போட்டியை உருவாக்கியதில் ஸ்போர்ட்ஸ் ப்ரோ இயக்குனர் சபரி நாயர்  மூளையாக செயல்பட்டவர் அவர் கூறுகையில் மாரத்தான் மூலம் மக்களிடையே ஒற்றுமை மற்றும் பிணைப்பு  உணர்வை ஏற்படுத்துவதை நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டுள்ளதாகவும் மேலும் ஆரோக்கியமான உடற்பயிற்சி வழங்குவதை ஊக்குவிப்பதாகவும் இதுபோன்ற மாரத்தான் போட்டி நிச்சயமாக நம் அனைவருக்கும் ஆரோக்கியமான உடற்பயிற்சி வழக்கத்தை தொடங்குவதற்கான புதிய தொடக்கமாக இருக்கும்.

SportzPro & Tamilnadu Athletic Association have announced  the 2nd edition of Tamilnadu Marathon, to be held on 19th June 2022 (Sunday) at the Anna University Grounds, Chennai.The Tamilnadu Marathon will be held in Coimbatore & Trichy also in the month of July & August.

“This edition of Tamilnadu Marathon aims to spread awareness on the Importance of Women & Children Safety in the State which is the biggest concern/ While the government and the authorities are taking necessary steps to create awareness on the same, the newly launch Tamilnadu Police Kaaval Uthavi App & The Rotary Club of Chennai Coastal have joined hands together with Tamilnadu Marathon to spread the message of the Importances of Women & Children Safety.

 “Through this initiative the organisers of Tamilnadu Marathon is willing to create the support system, be it finance, infrastructure, nutritious foods and clothing needed for the women & Children.

The grand event scheduled on 19th June 2022 in Chennai, will have leaders of today and tomorrow highlighting the need of the hour and also promote ways to keep fit through sports. Olympians and athletes from India and abroad will share their experience during this Marathon.

Sabari Nair, Director, Sportzpro who is the organising brain behind the first edition of Chennai Night Marathon in association with Apollo Hospitals has conceived the Tamilnadu Marathon 2022 as well. Edelweiss Group, one of India’s leading diversified financial services conglomerates, recently announced a public service and awareness initiative, #HelpYourHelp, a platform that helps build awareness and facilitates change for the domestic help community, who have been impacted by Covid-19. Battling loss of income and job insecurity, the pandemic has painfully highlighted their lack of financial preparedness. The Help Your Help platform attempts to educate and encourage individuals to empower this unorganized community over the long-haul, through a digital repository of 20+ Government welfare schemes, across various areas like Finance, Health, Women and Children. It also simplifies the process for acquiring important Documentation that allows this community to unlock the benefits of these welfare schemes. Kick-started a few weeks ago, this purely organic campaign has witnessed over 3,000 individuals coming forward to pledge their support.

As part of the campaign, Edelweiss Group launched a film that takes one through a montage of several instances wherein their domestic help – caregivers, cleaners, security guards, drivers, cooks - have stood by them, being their everyday heroes and life support. The film highlights the fact that while one helps them tide over their daily struggles, they desperately need long-term financial security. The video garnered a tremendously positive response and was extensively shared across platforms.

To heighten awareness around the campaign, Edelweiss Group encouraged their Twitter followers to show their appreciation for their help with the hashtags #ThankYourHelp and #HelpYourHelp. Personal experiences shared by enthusiastic followers aided in breaking through the clutter with both hashtags trending in 6 cities across India.

The campaign received stellar support from top Olympic athletes such as Dipa Karmakar (Gymnast and Padma Shri Awardee), Hima Das (Indian Sprinter and Arjuna Awardee), Rani Rampal (Captain of the Indian Women’s Hockey Team and Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Awardee), Sukant Kadam (Ace Para-Badminton Shuttler and Shiv Chhatrapati Awardee) and Manika Batra (Table Tennis Champion). Celebrities such as Mandira Bedi (Actress), Sonu Sood (Actor) and Cyrus Broacha (TV Actor and Comedian), have taken the #HelpYourHelp pledge and encouraged others to follow suit.
