The
University is inviting students to come over and interact with their
Professors, University Representatives and Alumni over video conferencing to
interact and ask questions with key professors and campus representatives. The
University is ranked in the top 2% of the World Universities across the World.
James
Cook University, Australia, established its Singapore campus in 2003 as part of
its expressed intent of internationalizing its activities and offers a suite of
university level programs at the Singapore campus covering the areas of
Business, Information Technology, Psychology, Education, Accounting, Arts,
Aquaculture, Environmental Science, Games Design, Tourism and Hospitality.
“We
took the option of video conferencing as it would be easier for the students
who attend this program in Chennai to interact with our professors on a one on
one basis, see the campus and understand what we offer here,” said Professor
Chris Rudd OBE, the Deputy Vice Chancellor of Singapore Campus of James Cook
University who would also be delivering the key note address in Chennai.
Furthermore,
the University has announced a SGD 250 fee waiver to all students who enroll in
their courses on the 10th of May 2019.
Followed
by the education fair, the University is also doing a free Lecture Series on
Master of Planning and Urban Design Course. It will enable participants to
learn about the increasing complexity of the built environment industry. James
Cook University will provide participation certificate at the end of the
workshop. Invitation is open to all students who want to explore this area of
Education in Singapore or Australia
The
Master of Urban Planning and Design Course is accredited by the Planning
Institute of Australia (PIA). Graduates are eligible for immediate membership
of the Urban and Regional Chapter of the Planning Institute of Australia and,
after two years professional planning experience, are eligible to become
corporate members (MPIA).
