Sanjay Dutt says he's proud and fortunate to have Maanayata Dutt as his wife

 Sanjay Dutt is all set for the release of his upcoming film 'Prassthanam' which also features Manisha Koirala, Jackie Shroff. A remake of 2010 superhit South film by the same name, the film is produced by Maanayata Dutt.

Speaking about his wife, Dutt says, "I’m proud and fortunate to have a wife like her. Her focus has always been home, husband, kids and her work. I’ve never interfered in her trading, knowing she has business acumen. After my father passed away, Maanayata has been my support system. She never let me fall, she was always there to pick me up."

Adding further, Maanayata Dutt says, “For all those who say I am his anchor, I say, he is the sail I set up to protect myself from storms. He’s always stood strong for the kids and me. Even when he was inside, he was worried for us."

With so much love around, we wish the duo all the luck for their film 'Prassthanam'.

Manisha Koirala who played Sanjay S. Dutt’s mother Nargis in Sanju is all set to play his wife in the upcoming film ‘Prassthanam’. Produced under the banner Sanjay S. Dutt Productions, the film has been creating a buzz with its intriguing trailer and the upbeat title track.

Manisha Koirala whose known Dutt since more than two decades recently revealed the bond she shared with the actor. Manisha said, “I became a big fan of Baba after watching Rocky and even had his posters up in my room. It was a fan-girl moment when I first worked with him, but over the years we have become good have seen him go through his ups and downs in life, and whenever I have a problem, I just have to tell him. A few days later, he will call to ask, ‘Manya, sab theek ho gaya na?’ We are very comfortable with each other now.”

On signing the Prassthanam, the actress added, “Maanayata Ji (Sanjay’s wife) is producing the film, and I can’t say ‘no’ to Baba and her.”

Sanjay Dutt to celebrate his 60th birthday with fans!

The actor will be launching the teaser of his much-awaited film 'Prasthanam'.

Superstar Sanjay Dutt, who is currently gearing up for his home production film 'Prasthanam' will be celebrating his birthday with fans and it will be a double celebration as the actor will also be launching the teaser of his next!

This teaser launch event is expected to be a treat for Sanjay’s fan clubs, who have been dedicatedly visiting his Bandra residence each year to wish him on that day.

As its Diwali festival, all production houses take some days off and commence work again post the festive holidays. But it’s going to be different for Sanjay Dutt this year. The star will not be hosting the Diwali party at his residence, instead will be working for his next film Prassthanam.

Not just Sanjay Dutt, but the entire Prassthanam team will have a working Diwali this year including the leading actress Manisha Koirala. A source revealed, "The team will celebrate the festival of lights together. This schedule has Manisha extensively shooting for her portions along with Chunky Panday. To keep the festivities alive, the makers have planned a special Diwali lunch and a small puja with the team.”
