for the ease and convenience of customers

 Raheja QBE General Insurance (RQBE) recently introduced the ‘Corona Kavach’ Policy. This new indemnity health insurance policy will offer cover against medical expenses incurred due to hospitalization of individuals seeking treatment for COVID-19. The plan is now available online and can be availed for self, spouse, parents, parents-in-law and dependent children.

Corona Kavach Policy provides cover for COVID-19 related hospitalization, treatment at the pre and post hospitalization stages, Home-Care Treatment, Road ambulance and AYUSH treatment. The product has an Add on cover (available on payment of additional premium) where the policyholders will also be paid fixed daily amounts(hospital daily cash), which will be 0.5% of sum insured per day for a maximum of upto 15 days, during a policy period. The cover is available for the duration of 3 ½ months, 6 ½ months and 9 ½ months.

From purchasing electronics to booking holidays, the online medium emerged as a winner in 2020. Banking on the same, Corona Kavach policy can now be bought online from insurer’s website or via an aggregator’s website.
