             THE JOURNEY TOWARDS LEADERSHIP HERALDS AT VELAMMAL

Velammal Main School, Mogappair Campus  premiered the swearing-in-ceremony of the Prefectorial Board 'VOICE'- Velammal's Online Investiture Ceremony Event on 18th July, 2021 in the benign presence of Shri Dr. Loganathan, IPS, Additional Commissioner of Police  at 6:00pm in the Velammal Nexus YouTube channel.

The newly elected school council took charge to dawn the mantle of responsibility and carried it out with utmost dedication.

The leaders were enormously elected through online voting during the lockdown. 

This auspicious event commenced with a prayer song followed by the documentary witnessing the journey of Velammal's 35 years  of excellence.

The ceremony proceeded with  the student council members taking an oath to work earnestly to uphold the honour and glory.

Our respected Senior Principal, Shri K.S Ponmathi  honoured the leaders with badges and sashes and congratulated them.

This was a proud moment for all the parents who witnessed their children embarking on a new journey as a leader. The ceremony took a turn with Western and Classical dance by our Vel's Natyalaya students alluring the viewers.

The event was taken ahead by our Chief Guest with an inspiring speech that emphasized on the motto learning through involvement and advised the newly elected leaders to carry forth their commitment and integrity, as they are the torch bearers of all values the school stands for.

An effervescent day that was filled with a lot of exuberance.

Carrier Midea India appoints Sanjay Mahajan as Managing Director

Carrier Midea India Pvt. Ltd. (CMI), a joint venture between Carrier and Midea, announced that Sanjay Mahajan has been appointed Managing Director Sanjay Mahajan has served many instrumental roles at CMI over the years, including serving as CMI’s Chief Operating Officer since 2016 and previously leading customer and channel efforts as Vice President of Sales & Marketing from 2012. Prior to joining CMI, Sanjay held various leadership positions over a 20-year span at Carrier India, including Director of Residential and Light Commercial Sales. Among his many accomplishments, Sanjay contributed significantly to the growth of CMI with its channel partners, led the expansion of CMI’s distribution organisation into retail, and drove customer value while providing critical leadership.

Krishan Sachdev, who has been Managing Director of CMI since the company’s inception in 2012, will continue as CMI’s Chairman and will support Carrier in the governance of other Carrier Midea joint ventures (JVs).  In addition, he will play a key role in growing Carrier’s global residential consumer HVAC business.

Established in February 2012, CMI has developed a strong industry position in the India residential air-conditioning segment, leveraging Carrier and Midea brands.  CMI markets Carrier hi-wall residential splits and window air-conditioners, and promotes Midea residential, light commercial and VRF products. The company recently announced the establishment of a new HVAC manufacturing facility for room air-conditioners, light commercial splits, and VRF in Supa, Maharashtra.
