*"I enjoy throwing my whole body into something," says Elle Fanning on her stunt training for Predator: Badlands*

Moving beyond her dramatic roles, Elle Fanning embraced a grueling month-long regimen of stunt and wire work training for her lead role in the highly anticipated action-thriller, Predator: Badlands. Elle reveals her surprising athletic prowess and total dedication to the physicality of the part, including pioneering "never-done-before" wire rigs and demanding fight choreography, underscoring the innovative action coming to the screen.

Talking about the training she underwent, Fanning said, "I had to do a lot of stunt and wire work training. I’m pretty athletic; I did a lot of sports growing up and I enjoy throwing my whole body into something. So, I was game. It wasn’t a ton of training, maybe about a good month of working with the stunt team, especially when we needed to learn choreography for the fight scenes, but for me, it was a lot of the wire work that I had to prepare my body for."

Elle further added, "The core strength it takes to be in the wires was a lot. Dimitrius and I were hooked back-to-back all the time and flying through the air while hooked together, and they created these wire rigs that had never been done before. So it was figuring out weight and body distribution and learning this wheelbarrow method where I’d be sitting on a wheelbarrow with Dimitrius fully walking me. They would paint the wheelbarrow out with VFX, but he still had to cart me up hills and all sorts of things."

_Predator: Badlands is set to premiere in India on 7th November in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu._
