Chennai witnessed a landmark celebration of music as India’s leading media production and talent management company, Noise & Grains, brought Yuvan Shankar Raja’s Walking Through the Rainbow to life in a grand symphonic concert that placed the spotlight firmly on the composer, his music and the emotions that have made his work timeless. 

Known for producing some of the grandest and most successful cultural events in the Indian entertainment space, Noise & Grains ensured that every element, from the production and orchestration to the audience experience, came together seamlessly to create one of the most memorable musical evenings of recent times.

Moving beyond the familiar format of a conventional live concert, Walking Through the Rainbow transformed Yuvan Shankar Raja’s compositions into a sweeping orchestral canvas. Iconic background scores, much-loved musical themes and unreleased tracks were reimagined through the scale and richness of a live symphony, allowing audiences to experience some of Yuvan’s most evocative music from an entirely new perspective.

For generations of listeners who have grown up with Yuvan’s music, the evening carried an unmistakable sense of nostalgia. Yet, Walking Through the Rainbow was not merely a journey into the past. It was an invitation to rediscover it. Walking Through the Rainbow was a vision born from imagination, passion and a deep love for music. For Show Director Karthik Srinivas, the journey began as a fan’s dream and evolved into the opportunity to direct and witness that vision come alive on one of Chennai’s biggest stages.

Conceiving it as a fan was special, but directing it and watching it come alive on stage was truly unforgettable. Every moment has been crafted with love and purpose, driven by an immense love for Yuvan Sir and the music that has touched so many lives. More than a performance, Walking Through the Rainbow is a celebration of music, imagination, and our love for Yuvan Sir," Show Director Karthik Srinivas said. 

The scale of the production was backed by years of planning and refinement. Mahaveer, Production Director of Walking Through the Rainbow, said the show was envisioned as an experience that would bring audiences closer to the fundamental essence of music — emotion, musicianship and the simple act of listening.

“Walking Through the Rainbow was always envisioned as a show for the people. It took us nearly three years of planning, designing and refining every aspect to finally bring this vision to life. Today, the way audiences experience and connect with music has evolved, and we wanted to take a step back and bring the focus to the very roots of music... the emotion, the musicianship and the experience of listening to music come alive.
