Bhushan Kumar’sT-Series
After the blockbuster success of KabirSingh’s ‘Tujhe Kitna Chahein Aur Hum’, and ‘Tum Hi Aana’ from Marjaavaan. JubinNautiyal collaborates with T-Series yet again on another romantic, love songtitled ‘Meri Aashiqui’, that promises to take audiences through a rollercoaster of emotions.
Music heavyweight,T-Series, put together a dream team for ‘Meri Aashiqui’ in the hope of presentingaudiences with a cult song that will be remembered for a long time. The musiclabel has pulled out all the stops for this ambitious song and the result isworth watching.

Composed by RochakKohli, with lyrics by Rashmi Virag, ‘Meri Aashiqui’ has been shot by AshishPanda, against the picturesque background of Dawki, Meghalaya and features Jubin Nautiyal, the very beautiful andpopular Punjabi and Bollywood actor Ihana Dhillon and Mr India Supranational 2017 Altamash Faraz.
Interestingly, singer JubinNautiyal last worked with video director Ashish Panda on ‘Humnava Mere’ thatcrossed 300+million views on YouTube. Says popular singer Jubin Nautiyal, “MeriAashiqui is going to be a cult song. It reminds you of the sweet nitty-grittiesof love and is going to be on listeners’ playlists for a very long time. I givethe credit of Meri Aashiqui to Mr. Bhushan Kumar and the entire team working onthe song. By the time I got on board, they were already very sure of what theywanted and I was thrilled to hear their vision. This was honestly a dream teamto work with since it involves all my favourite people.”
‘Meri Aashiqui’ is alsoJubin Nautiyal’s third song with T-Series during the lockdown period, after‘Meri Maa’ and ‘Govind Bolo’. Talking about what inspires him to bringlisteners new music during these troubled times, the singer adds, “Music hasproven to have healing powers and we need that now more than ever. Makingsomeone smile or cheering someone up with my music is what motivates me torelease songs during this time. This is the business I signed up for.”
About her experience ofworking in Meri Aashiqui, the extremely talented and beautiful Ihana Dhillonmaintains: “I agreed to do Meri Aashiqui for two reasons. First, it was amelodious song by Jubin, who had also sung for my Hindi film Hate Story IV.Secondly, it was a single produced by T-Series, who have the track record ofcoming out with the best songs, most of them chartbusters. I knew it would beworth my while. Working on Meri Aashiqui was like being on a semi vacation eventhough the shoot was physically very demanding. The locations were very farfrom the hotel and were in areas where vehicles were not permitted. So, we hadto walk there. I had to get up at 2.00 am, be ready with my hair and make-upand make the trek with everyone but the natural, scenic beauty in Meghalaya wasso invigorating and refreshing that I would be all charged to give my best onhearing the word ‘action.’”
Says T-Series headhoncho, Bhushan Kumar, “Jubin Nautiyal has always been associated withsoulful songs. We wanted to mount Meri Aashiqui to a level of magnificence andgrandeur. A song will always turn out beautifully when the synergy is rightbetween people and we cracked that with Meri Aashiqui.”

Bhushan Kumar's T-Series presents Govind Bolo!

Bhushan Kumar's T-Series presents Govind Bolo!

Jubin Nautiyal puts a soulful yet modern spin on T-Series' Govind Bolo!

T-Series has consistently been bringing audiences the best in music, even during these troubled COVID-19 times. The music label now presents 'Govind Bolo', in Jubin Nautiyal's soulful voice, as he puts a contemporary sound to this ode to Lord Krishna.
Jubin recently celebrated the massive success of Kabir Singh's ‘Tujhe Kitna Chahein Aur Hum’ and ‘Tum Hi Aana from Marjaavaan.’ He also collaborated with the country's biggest music label on 'Meri Maa', a special song dedicated to mothers on the occasion of Mother’s Day.  Jubin Nautiyal now gives us a modern yet soulful rendition of ‘Govind Bolo,’ a paean to Lord Krishna. Jubin has earlier done a devotional offering titled ‘Ganesha’ as praise to the Elephant God.

Spreading the message of positivity and hope, 'Govind Bolo' is composed by Raaj Aashoo, with lyrics by Pankaj Narayan and is produced, mixed and mastered by Aditya Dev. While the song has been in the making for a while, the finishing touches were added during the lockdown period. There couldn’t have been a better time for the song’s release, as it’s natural to turn to a higher force in challenging times such as the current global pandemic.
Says T-Series head honcho, Bhushan Kumar, "Jubin Nautiyal’s signature as an artist is that he brings a lot of feeling and soul to his music. Whether it's a sad song or a romantic one, most of the songs that Jubin has sung have an ethereal quality to them. That’s what made ‘Govind Bolo’ the perfect song for him. This song has a lot of light and vibrance and we wanted to give audiences something uplifting and encouraging during these difficult times.”
Talking about what makes this song special Jubin Nautiyal says, “When Raaj Aashoo sent me the song, I could hear myself sing it and I knew a song like this was the need of the hour. People were more inclined and connected -- devotionally and emotionally -- before the digital boom took place. As time progressed, a lot of the authenticity of Indian culture, devotion and emotions was lost. The lockdown is giving us time as a country, to decide where we want to go from here and devotional music reminds us of who we are, takes us back to our roots and spreads light.”
He adds, “With devotional music, cracking the right soul is important as your audience shouldn’t lose connect with the song even for a second. Lord Krishna has been my favourite. The point where darkness and light meet is where Lord Krishna lives and he shows us the right path.”
