VELAMMAL EXCELS IN STATE LEVEL ART CONTEST

Master M.L. Pranauv, class 5 of Velammal Main School ( Mogappair East ) bagged the  first prize in the State level art competition  on the topic TO BE SAFE FROM CORONA conducted by the Tamil Nadu Fire Service recently.

He  was awarded  a cash prize of  Rs.3000 and a memento by the Chief Guest Mr.Sylendra Babu IPS.The Chief Guest was presented his portrait as a token of gratitude by Master Pranauv.

The School management congratulates the achiever on his remarkable achievement.

UTOPIA 2020 CELEBRATED AT VELAMMAL

Velammal Vidyalaya, Mangadu celebrated its first annual day UTOPIA – 2020 on 22^nd February 2020, [Saturday] with great elation and gusto. The spectacular evening began with a welcome note to the celebrity chief guest   Shri P. Unnikrishnan, the playback singer.

          The program commenced with a soothing prayer song. General proficiency awards were distributed and the UKG students were honoured with Graduation certificates by the chief guest.

The chief guest gave an inspiring and everlasting speech which had a great impact among parents and students.

The cultural events began with a mesmerizing and divine pooja dance which grabbed everybody’s attention.

The audience were captivated by the enchanting dance performances and the soulful symphony of the budding musicians. The grandeur and splendor of the India wale dance performance and the grand finale left everybody patriotic and enthralled.
