 Chin Chin, the Oriental Restaurant and The Right Place, Coffee Shop at The Residency Chennai introduces a new take away menu to provide delicious food to its patrons at the comfort of their homes.

The menu at Chin Chin offers everything from soups to appetisers such as Okra Pepper Salt, Konjeenaro Potato to Dong Bug Chicken, Wok Tossed Prawns, mains such as Eight Treasure Vegetable, Sliced Fish in Ginger Sauce, Chicken with Vegetables. These can be enjoyed with sides such as Malacca Fried Rice, Golden Garlic Fried Rice and Hakka Noodles.

The Right Place, coffee shop will be going the Indian route mouth-watering appetisers such as Apollo Paneer, Karuveppilai Mailagu Kozhi, Guntur Kodi, mains such as Madras Meen Kuzzhambu, Gosht Rogan Josh, Subji Patiyala, Paneer Makhani. These can be enjoyed with sides such as steamed rice, curd rice, chapati and pulaos of various kinds.

Chin Chin, The Residency celebrates Chinese New Year with an exclusive menu from 24^th January to 9^th February 2020

Getting together over good food and spending time with family is the tradition of Chinese New Year celebrations. Chin Chin marks the arrival of the New Year, with a taste of handpicked specialties, curated by Chef Barun. He elaborates on the festivities, “Chinese New Year is a time for abundance and prosperity. The meals are traditionally focused on meats and the menu has variations of chicken, lamb and seafood.”

Opening the new menu are some delicious starters like the Lemongrass mushroom soup, Manchow crabmeat soup, the golden hued Spring rolls, Water chestnut chili pepper, Crispy calamari, Phuket seer fish fillet and the Peking lamb.

The highlight of the menu is Shaoxing Duck; this delicacy, a new introduction, is a must try – cooked golden-brown fresh off the skillet.

An irresistible tofu, lotus stem, mushroom sizzler pairs wonderfully with the golden garlic fried rice, and the fragrant chicken stir fried with vegetables is a good match for the spicy chow mein noodles.

The dessert, a honey coated banana fritter is a treat to relish, along with coconut ice cream, tastes heavenly.

This limited-edition menu showcases dishes that bring joy, luck and blessings in the New Year. Open for lunch and dinner, the menu is available from 24^th January to 9^th February 2020.
