Master P Monish Balaji, Std V of Velammal Vidyalaya, Mel Ayanambakkam participated in BRICS MATH(online International Maths competition) and secured the II place at the  National Level conducted by CBSE held recently.

Master Monish has made an indelible mark at the National Level and is qualified for the International Math Contest final round.

Children across 7  countries in the World  (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Indonesia and Vietnam) will also participate.

BRICS MATH is an International competition with an interactive approach packed with unique, practical tasks designed to develop logical reasoning.

The school management congratulates and appreciates his marvellous achievement and blesses him to soar  higher.

VELAMMAL  STUDENTS FELICITATED BY TAMILNADU SCIENCE FORUM

Velammal Main School , Mogappair Campus students achieved at the 28th NCSC(National Children Science Congress) and they were felicitated at the award and appreciation function held on 24th February, 2021 at Sethu Bhaskara Matric. Hr. Sec.  School, Chennai. 

This event was organised by Tamil Nadu Science Forum(TNSF).

Master Halan Gerald, Std. 9, was awarded shield and certificate for his project on 'Bio Solar Leaf Global Warming Protector' at the State level and is qualified for the National level to represent Tamil Nadu, which will be held shortly.

The team of budding scientists who cracked the district level competition and  selected for the State level were also felicitated.

The School Management extols the achievements of their young scientists.

 KATHA WRITERS AT NATIONAL LEVEL EMERGE FROM VELAMMAL NEXUS

 Miss Shreshta Manikandan, Std 8, the young writer of Velammal Vidyalaya, Mel Ayanambakkam (Annexure), took part in Katha Utsav 2020, a national level literary event conducted by Katha India recently.

The Katha Young Writers'
workshop culminating in the Katha Utsav, is one of India’s biggest literary event for young writers.

Velammal feels proud to announce that our young writer has been awarded with Katha National Writers’ Workshop Certificate and her story will be published in Kathas digital platform shortly.

 இளம்  எழுத்தாளர்களுக்காக நடத்தப்படும் கதா உத்சவ்
 பயிற்சிப் பட்டறை,
இந்தியாவின் மிகப்பெரிய இலக்கிய நிகழ்வுகளில் ஒன்றாகும்.

வேலம்மாள் பள்ளியின் இளம் எழுத்தாளருக்கு "கதா தேசிய எழுத்தாளர்களின் பட்டறை"- சான்றிதழ் வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. மேலும் அவரது கதை விரைவில் "கதாஸ் டிஜிட்டல் மேடையில்" வெளியிடப்படும் என்றும் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

மாணவியின் இச்சாதனையைப் பள்ளி நிர்வாகம் வெகுவாகப் பாராட்டியது.

Master M. Yuktheswar, Class 12 of Velammal Vidyalaya,

Mel Ayanambakkam has secured 99.957  percentile in the National level 

JEE Main(Phase1)– 2020 recently held from 6th January to 9th January 2020. 

127 students of Velammal Nexus Schools  have scored above 90.00 percentile & around 210 students will qualify for IIT- JEE ADVANCED to be held on 17th May 2020.

Miss V Praseedha, Class 8 of Velammal Main School, Mogappair campus, clinched Silver Medals in 50 mts backstroke  and 100 mts breaststroke  in the U-14 girls category at the state level and was selected for the National level organized by School Games Federation of India held at SDAT Velachery recently. 

The Management applauds  the achiever for her jubilant victory.
