Films with native elements have been the cherry-pick for the universal audiences, who have celebrated its natural essence, when presented with the right ingredients of entertainment. Many such films with promising story and engrossing narration with a bunch of talented actors and proficient technicians have witnessed the breakthrough in the industry, both critically and commercially. ‘Vattara Vazhakku  ’ produced by Madura Talkies & Aangjaneya Productions, written and directed by Kannuchamy Ramachandran (Director of movies like Thambi Vettothi Sundaram, Madhil Mel Punai, and Aayiram Muthangaludan Thenmozhi).

“Vattara Vazhakku” gears up for December 29 release

 “Vattara Vazhakku   will an engrossing entertainer that will impress audiences from all walks of life vividly. The film is based on a real life incident that happened in North Madurai, which is presented with the perfect blend of various dimensions including enmity, love, anger, hatred, murder and legal issues. The film features actor Santhosh Nambhirajan as the protagonist, who captured everyone’s attention with his realistic performance in 2017 National award-winning movie ‘To-Let’. Raveena Ravi, who grabbed everyone’s interest with her captivating performances in movie like Maamannan and Love Today is playing the female lead character in this movie. Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja is composing music, which is a beautiful embellishment to the entire tale. Director Kannuchamy Ramachandran shows a new kind of romantic appeal that bloomed without lovers meeting in person, and expressing their earnest feeling, which will offer a new experience to the audiences of Tamil Cinema . The film’s 15-minute crucial episode laced with twists and turns will bring everyone to the edge-of-their-seats. Set in 1985, the film needed a place to have a little flashback to 1962. Then it was revealed that a village named Kallupatti in West Madurai remained the same for many years without any development. The film was shot in the village itself.”

The postproduction work is briskly nearing completion, and the film is gearing up for theatrical release by Sakthi Film Signature, on December 29, 2023.
