Vivek Prasanna’s surprisal avatar with Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja

The downpour of praises and positive reception among the universal crowds for “Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja” has whelmed the entire team with immense elations. While each and every YouTuber (a) artistes had their realms of applause and appreciations with their onscreen presence, a particular character turned up as a surprisal showstopper and he’s none other than Vivek Prasanna. In a short span of time, the actor has established a prominent stature for his diversified roles in humour, antagonistic shades and character roles.  His inclusion in NNOR star-cast was kept under wraps and it distinctly occurred as a surprise element with his entry.

Filmmaker Karthik Venugopalan says, “It’s really happy to see that each and every character in the film was acknowledged and praised. When writing and developing the script, it was the antagonist’s role that actually impressed us all for the main core of film travels on him. Even after finalizing the other artistes and completing the first schedule, we couldn’t finalize the one for this role. Coincidentally, as a team, we all felt that Vivek Prasanna would be the appropriate choice for he owns the salient trait of exhibiting the villainous role with humorous shades. Moreover, we were spellbound over his performance in the film ‘Meyaadha Maan’ and felt that he would befittingly look perfect. He’s someone, who earnestly receives our input and delivers the best results exceeding our expectations. When we had the screen test of Vivek Prasanna with costumes and goggles, we were completely satisfied as the character we imagined had gained complete life. It has become a common verdict from people that Vivek Prasanna reminiscences of “Nooravadhu Naal” Sathyaraj.”

“Be it any place or time, he is ready to give his best improvising his performance. Even at the crowded junctures like railway station, he was so down to earth in such a way that even after the shot was perfect, he would voluntarily suggest for one more take to give betterment. Despite our team comprising of new artistes, who are mostly from YouTube, he never displayed any ego of his seniority. If not for his unconditional effort, this role would have not gained so much prominence. It’s so great to see that people are enjoying his performance, especially for the song ‘Kodiyille Malliga Poo”. He’s already a top-notch actor and I am sure that his stature as outstanding character artiste will escalate to a great character artiste.”

Produced by Sivakarthikeyan for Sivakarthikeyan Productions, Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja featuring Rio Raj, Shirin Kanchwala, RJ Vigneshkanth, Radharavi, Nanjil Sampath, Vivek Prasanna along with many YouTubers in star-cast was released last Friday opening to positive reviews.

Sivakarthikeyan Productions’ Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja has set its benchmark of spotlights with its vigorous promotions. The entire family of Tamil YouTubers is consistently involved in spicing up the impact that is trending on all social media platforms. But guess who’s making more news in town now? It’s none other than politician turned actor Nanjil Sampath. Even before his embarkation of showbiz journey, he has been a trending icon for his abrupt and spontaneous statements. In fact, his trademark line “Thuppuna Thodachikuven” became an overnight mantra and today, it’s been one among the popular T-shirt merchandizes as well.  Nanjil Sampath hilariously refers saying, “During one of the interviews with a news channel, I had this said abruptly, which I never expected would return back as Boomerang with humorous appeal. The funniest part is that I had to go for numerous takes in getting these lines properly delivered.”

Jokes apart, Nanjil Sampath has high valued opinions about filmmaker Karthik Venugopalan. “What I liked about him is his nature of being a ‘Karma Yogi’, who is so much focused about his goals and getting it accomplished at any cost. Finding a person like Karthik is not an easy thing in today’s world. He is an altruist and socially responsible, who has more concern for the society.”

Nanjil Sampath who will be seen playing a politician in this film thanks Sivakarthikeyan and the entire team of ‘Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja’ for giving an opportunity. “Sivakarthikeyan Thambi is a perfect Gentleman and is so much dedicated towards his profession. RJ Vigneshkanth on Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja

Embarking on a journey of dreams through YouTube platform and eventually turning into a celebrity under spotlights with his appearances in big screens. Apparently, RJ Vigneshkanth is now all set to amuse the crowds with his ‘Black Sheep’ family through ‘Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja’.  Talking about his experience working in NNOR, he says, “Yes, as everyone in our team feels and says, it was fun and jolliness throughout the shoot, but it had hidden layers of emotions too in all of us. This is earnestly because of our long run dream coming true together. We as friends blindly banked hopes upon each other, which has now landed us here with Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja.”  Brimming with emotional joy, RJ Vignesh says, “What I like about Karthik Venugopalan is his positivity, which doesn’t self-motivate him, but propels the same upon his close friends and associates too. His vision and idea about penning this script was much impressive as it is set against the backdrops of our profession. Well, it’s just a base and the fictional mix has lots to deliver on the hilarious notes and a good thought-provoking message too.”

Getting on with his take on Rio Raj, he adds, “He is definitely a hard worker and that is drawn from what I saw in him during NNOR shoot, but I have known the efficiency he owns from his VJ days. Shirin Kanchwala is more dedicated and despite staying amidst of people like us, who are bounded to cracking jokes and pulling each others’ legs, she was very much focused on her work, especially in developing her linguistic skill in Tamil. What can I say about working with eminent personalities like Radharavi sir and Nanjil Sampath sir? Radharavi sir has done everything casually, but his character will remain strongly registered. The craze for Nanjil Sampath sir across the crowds is huge even before his arrival into big screens. Now, it’s evident that his star power will go to the next level. More than all,  both Sivakarthikeyan and Kalai Arasu brothers have been main pillars in letting our dreams come true and we’re happy that they are satisfied with our works as well.”

Music director Shabir on Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja

It’s quite a rare scenario, where a song becomes a slow poison possessing the senses and pulses of listeners, getting the more addicted and at the nth time would actually look up for the creator behind it. When a creation is so exquisitely genuine and elegant, it’s obvious that the enjoyers would be more imbibed to its essence and then derive the rational idea about the ‘Creator’. He was one among the first to appreciate my song ‘Yaayum’ even before it actually made its position under spotlights. It wasn’t merely an artificial means of appreciation, but he made me play rest of my composed songs for this album. It was literally exciting to hear him affirm that we are definitely working together in a project and that’s where our journey of ‘Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja’ began. This is completely a new genre for me and I have given my try with fresh elements.”

Music directors are far more privileged as they get the opportunity to see the film at first and so what’s his take on NNOR. When asked on curious degrees, he reveals saying, “It’s fun all over the film and audiences have lots to laugh and of course, a message to take back home. It doesn’t preach anything, but has something to think and act upon.”
