Free Thirumala products were distributed to Police, Traffic Police, Garbage & waste disposal teams, social Workers among others across the city who are working tirelessly for our safety & health. The company will be providing products throughout the Lockdown to these COVID warriors on the road.


The company also assured regular & consistent supply of all its dairy products during the Lockdown while reiterating the need to follow necessary guidelines while purchasing the same at outlets. Pernod Ricard India Supports setting up of

Pernod Ricard India Supports setting up of 5 PSA Oxygen Generator units  in govt hospitals in Uttar Pradesh

 

Pernod Ricard India Foundation (PRIF) is setting up Pressure Swing Absorption (PSA) oxygen plants in India to address the immediate need for medical-grade oxygen. The oxygen crisis of 2021 has affected millions of countrymen, and Pernod Ricard India is augmenting the relief efforts further by setting up PSA units in large multi-specialty hospitals. PSA units are being set up in 5 hospitals in Uttar Pradesh. 

 

Mr. Thibault Cuny, Managing Director, Pernod Ricard India, and CEO, Pernod Ricard South Asia, said. “The second wave of COVID-19 has impacted India in an inconceivable way, making it important for people across the community to come together. We are battling a situation we have never seen before, and we salute the efforts our frontline workers, doctors, medical professions have shown. Pernod Ricard India has in the past risen to the needs of the nation, and we are committed to supporting the immediate emergency services needed to combat the crisis. We hope that our contribution will help our people in these challenging times as we explore other significant mediums to support our country.” 

 

Since the onset of pandemic, Pernod Ricard India has supported setting up isolation wards, over 350 Oxygen concentrators through the state health department, along with BIPAP machines and HFNCs across the country to ensure that more and more people get access to care when needed. Additionally, PRIF has deployed 14 Mobile health Vans and 4 ambulances to serve the affected during these crisis times. 

 

Over the next 3 years, the Mobile Health Vans and ambulances will cover 600 villages a year, providing access to quality health care to those who have emerged victorious in their fight against the virus but still have residual effects and augment the vaccination efforts in rural India. 

 

As of today, PRI has helped strengthen critical care support infrastructure in public hospitals, with 100+ Intensive Care Ventilators, 105 HFNC (High Flow Nasal Cannulas) 140 Intensive Care Unit (ICU) beds, 35 Multi Para Monitors, along with preventive healthcare support for personal & public hygiene Alcohol-based sanitizers, and masks, across 17 states for COVID warriors like the Punjab Police Personnel, Indian Navy & Air Force (CSD), State Health Departments, Truck Drivers, and Local Communities.

Bank of Baroda, India’s third largest public sector bank, celebrated its 113th Foundation Day by felicitating over 600 COVID warriors pan-India. Every year on its Foundation Day, the bank presents ‘Baroda Sun Achievement Awards’ to eminent personalities who have made a social impact by contributing to the society in different walks of life. This year, the Bank gave the awards to selected COVID Warriors comprising of Police personnel, Doctors, Para-medic staff, Sanitation workers and Bankers from Public Sector Banks, who have rendered outstanding service from the front lines in the country’s fight against the pandemic.
Applauding their work, ShriVikramaditya Singh Khichi, Executive Director, Bank of Baroda said, "COVID Warriors from the medical profession, Police forces, para medic field, Government/ municipal departments and Banks have shown great commitment to their duty by ensuring uninterrupted availability of essential services to the public during the pandemic, even at the risk of their own health. 
They are the nation’s heroes who deserve all the applause and appreciation from the countrymen for coming to the forefront and fighting the pandemic. We salute these COVID Warriors for the selfless services that they have rendered – and continue to render - during this hour of need for their countrymen. In honour of their commitment and as a token of our gratitude, Bank of Baroda is happy to felicitate the COVID warriors with the ‘Baroda Sun Achievement Awards’.  I also take this opportunity to thank all my colleagues in the Bank for their constant support during the ongoing pandemic. We are grateful to each and every COVID Warrior who has helped the country remain strong.
Bank of Baroda has also provided 113K meals to the needy to mark the 113th Foundation Day, through the ‘Swastha Neev’ initiative in association with our two partners who share the Bank’s philanthropic values.”
