Miss, B.Subhahree ,Class 6 of Velammal  Matriculation school, Avadi, clinched the Gold Medal in Individual Kumite , (U-14 ,30 kg) category  by defeating her Opponent from Chennai  with a score of 8-0 in the final round of Grand Prix Open International Karate Championship 2020, held at  Vijaya  Forum Mall, Vadapalani, Chennai recently.

About 1300 students from various states took part in this international event which was organised by Suresh Martial Arts.

ஆவடி வேலம்மாள் மெட்ரிகுலேஷன் பள்ளி மாணவி

கராத்தே போட்டியில் தங்கப்பதக்கம் பெற்றார்!

2020ஆம் ஆண்டுக்கான கிராண்ட் பிரிக்ஸ் ஓபன் இன்டர்நேஷனல் கராத்தே சாம்பியன்ஷிப் போட்டி நடைபெற்றது. இதில், தனிநபர் குமிட் (யு-14, 30 கிலோ) பிரிவில், ஆவடி வேலம்மாள் மெட்ரிக் பள்ளியின் 6ஆம் வகுப்பு மாணவி பி.சுபாஸ்ரீ, தம்முடன் போட்டியிட்ட மாணவியை எதிர்த்து 8-0 என்கிற புள்ளிகள் வித்தியாசத்தில் வெற்றி பெற்று தங்கப்பதக்கம் வென்றுள்ளார்.

தேசிய அளவிலான இந்நிகழ்ச்சியை சுரேஷ் தற்காப்புக் கலை நிறுவனம் ஏற்பாடு செய்திருந்தது. இப்போட்டி சென்னை வடபழனி, விஜயா ஃபோர்ம் மாலில் நடைபெற்றது. இந்நிகழ்ச்சிக்குத் தமிழ்நாடு முழுவதுமிருந்தும் பல்வேறு மாநிலங்களைச் சேர்ந்த சுமார் 1300 மாணவ மாணவியர் பங்கேற்றனர்.

பள்ளி நிர்வாகம் மாணவியின் அபாரச் சாதனையைப் பாராட்டி வாழ்த்துகிறது.

Miss T Meenalakshmi, Class 12 of Velammal Vidyalaya, Mel Ayanambakam, represented Tamil Nadu and clinched the Gold Medal by defeating her Opponent from Srilanka with a score of 5-3 in the final round of Individual Kumite Championship held at Kotla Vijay Baskar Reddy Indoor Stadium, Telangana recently.

This event was organised by Shubukai Shito - KYU Karate Federation International.

About 600 students from various countries took part in this  International event.

ALL INDIA INTER UNIVERSITY KARATE [MEN &WOMEN] CHAMPIONSHIP 2019-2020 

organized by Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai

The All India inter university karate men & women championship for the year 2019- 2020 is conducted by the Association of Indian University and organized by Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, (Deemed to be University) Chennai.

A total of 123 Teams all over India (700 Men and 250 Women players) are competing for the ALL INDIA INTER UNIVERSITY KARATE [MEN &WOMEN] CHAMPIONSHIP - 2019-2020 which is happening from 08-01-2020 to 10-01-2020.

The inauguration graced by the presence of Dr. Marie Johnson,  President and Dr. Mariazeena Johnson, Chancellor of Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai.

The Chief Guest of Honor for the inauguration of the All India inter university karate men & women championship for the year 2019- 2020 was Shri. K. A SENGOTTAIYAN, Honorable Minister for School Education Sports and Youth Welfare, Government of Tamilnadu.
